Today was my first time visiting this location of Labcorp. Absolutely amazing service! I got here as soon as they opened (Monday morning). Not many people in line. Libya (sp) was my phlebotomist and she was able to take my blood without me even feeling the needle!! I was honestly surprised how quick she was! The other Labcorp on Bob Hope Drive always made drawing blood painful and always left me with a huge bruise. I was in and out of the office in 10 minutes. Had an appointment but they took walk ins before me. Called 2 of us back and took the guy that came in after me first. I had 1 cbc panel to do. I was the fastest appointment out of the 6 people that went before me and I waited the longest. What's the point of making an appointment? read more

Everyone has a different experience in life. That said, I have the highest regard for the professionalism and care given by all the staff in this lab. They are very friendly folks and I haven't had a long wait at all - even when they have a full lobby. My appointments are for blood testing and, so far, only "vampires" have done my blood draws. I should explain that my use of the word "vampire" is the highest compliment - since I have never liked giving up any of my blood. Not only that, their technicians have done only painless and quick draws...even to fill multiple vials. You should know that they have an automated check-in kiosk that you can use before going to the counter. Some folks find this a little difficult because of their lack of familiarity with tech. But once used, I found it mostly straightforward and intuitive. Just be sure to bring your Insurance Card and Driver License. And if you find the kiosk too difficult to use, there's always support at the counter. Two More Tips: 1) Ask your Doctor's office to give you a copy of the blood draw order so you can compare it with what they have at Labcorp - to be sure you get all the tests your Doctor ordered. They do not call patients the day before appointments letting them know paperwork isnt in system or if they dont have prep . They dont give patients any prep instructions for certain labs . Had appointment today , before work , just to get there to say they dont have paperwork, go to my office get the paperwork then to be asked did I stop certain meds . Was not given any instructions before hand. waste of time . read more

Easiest and best Labcorp experience I've ever had! Clean, low-key relaxing, one other person besides me there as a patient, and the technician was easy and quick. Plus, you're right near Starbucks so afterwards you can give yourself a nice treat! I would highly recommend this place. For all of the places that do lab work and all of the complaints you see on yelp and everywhere else, this is the place to come. Worth the drive. read more

Update to my previous 5 star review. I'm sooo pissed right now at EBONY...I'm still in pain because in my experience she's a crappy phlebotomist & also has no people skills! Usually, I feel the pinch of the initial injection and nothing else and later there's almost no sign that I've had blood work done... I'm not a bruiser USUALLY ...UNTIL Ebony... Who knows what her problem was that day because I can't imagine a company would keep someone like her employed if she's always like that. I told her that I usually get butterfly needles bc of my tiny veins. Her response "we don't have many of those" So, I just trusted her to do her job and determine what other phlebotomists have appropriately determined for me. NEVER WILL I JUST TRUST a phlebotomist... She must've used a regular needle for me as it's been a few days and I still see the big red spot where she hurt me. Actually there are two red spots and only one shot...Was she trying to knit my skin together with my vein? That's what it felt like... She kept jamming that needle in my vein and I FELT A SHARP STING AND PAIN THE WHOLE TIME SHE WAS GETTING BLOOD & afterwards too... maybe some of that disinfectant from that disinfectant wipe that she used to wipe down the table while she had her gloves on already got into my injection... I don't know... It's all messed up...Also, It was obvious I was in pain, but she did & said nothing to help at all... I'm not a person who bruises, UNTIL EBONY wrecked my arm. I'm still bruised & I feel pain at/around the injection site days later. This is totally abnormal. I couldn't really move my arm without feeling pain because of her crappy job on my arm... Did she hit a literal nerve?! I don't know... If she would have just been a normal decent caring human, I wouldn't have called to complain (no response btw) & wouldn't be writing this review like this. ...She had no "bedside manner"...Seemed to be inconvenienced at my NEED to lie down or otherwise faint... Asked her for a paper towel so I could quickly wipe off the table from the hair present. She had her gloves on & was touching things I thought she shouldn't be. After asked for a paper towel, she got an antibacterial wipe and did a quick clean & just stood there & waited for me to then get on the WET table. I just wanted to not take other people's hair & random dust with me & a dry paper towel would've been fine like I asked for. Honestly, I shouldn't have had to ask for it as I told them at the front earlier that I faint if I'm not lying down... The gentleman at the front was very nice and said thank you for telling us because they needed to know... So, when Ebony took me to the back, she told me to sit in the chair until that same nice gentleman reminded her that I needed to be laying down... Why couldn't he be my Phlebotomist that day? So, it was an afterthought as she removed some parcel from the table and gave me a paper towel for my head. Sorry... This is jumping back-and-forth... But the most important problem is that I'm still in some pain days later after getting what was supposed to be a routine blood draw... Never have I ever felt this type of pain during & after a blood draw... She must've really been in a mood or maybe she is too unskilled to be doing stuff like this. I literally never ever want to see her face again. I'm reconsidering where I go for labwork now... I WILL NEVER LET SOMEONE TREAT ME LIKE THAT AGAIN. I'm not someone with victim mentality but I definitely feel victimized by what she did to me. read more

I think I came here like 3x before I actually got blood work done. Each time they were crazy busy! But then again, it's snowbird season and old people get their blood tested a lot? The dude at the front desk / check-in area was super nice. I went during my lunch break, luckily third times a charm and they weren't busy (there was like two people waiting?) but I barely had to wait. I go to the back, there's one nurse drawing blood. I tell her ahead of time that I have hella scar tissue, my veins roll, all that good stuff and she's like "got it". It only took her two tries to get my vein which is actually realllllly good! And it barely hurt. But she was like "yeah girl, I could for sure feel the scar tissue". Love it when nurses listen to you! I was in/out within like 15-20 minutes and I didn't have an appointment either :) read more

I always come to this facility. They are very efficient and pleasant. Well Monday was not a very good experience. Perhaps the tech was new and not as skilled as the techs I had in the past. It took her three tries using both arms to finally fill 2 vials. read more

Very fast, efficient, and use technology to check you in and text you when they are ready for you (because of Covid people have to wait outside when more than 3 people are waiting to be seen). So far, this is my 2nd LabCorp today. First one, of course, was closed... So far, the tech has taken 2 people before me, did not encourage me to check in at the kiosk, nor was there a sign in page in sight. The bathrooms are not well kept (see photos) & the ppl here are overworked & no doubt underpaid by another medical corporation who cares about the almighty $$$ & not the staff or clients. Wah!! This morning's appointment was the most efficient blood draw I have had in ages. The gentleman working the check in was terrific, helpful and knowledgeable. He also called the doctor's office and had them fax over the orders, which they did immediately. The woman, who drew my blood, was very nice, friendly and efficient. I went to LabCorp on Country Club Rancho Mirage for routine blood work. After a smooth and efficient check in I meet Patrick who is going to draw blood. This Guy was soooo helpful. First he noticed that the paperwork wasn't quite right and with a professional easy going demeanor proceeded to call the doctor's office. He fixed the paperwork and then flawlessly drew blood without any difficulties. My veins are deep and not that easy to find, however Patrick did not have a problem. Come to find out Patrick has been doing this for 30 years and I have no reservation saying that he is the absolute best at what he does. read more

Shawna Roland is an amazing person . She always takes care of her patients with a smile . She is friendly and competent . I usually have small veins and hard to draw blood. This office seemed quite efficient, in & out quickly and friendly staff. My issue came with billing, so check yours closely at any location. I was charged a co-pay which my plan does not have, also they billed me as a Medicare patient which if they were smart enough, they would have seen I am not old enough nor do I have a Medicare number. It took two days between my insurance & Labcorp to get it right. Again, check your invoice ! read more

The LabCorp location on the corner of Country Club and Monterey is absolutely the best LabCorp there is. And what makes it such an Outstanding LabCorp to visit are the Employees. Patrick, Shannon and Yolanda that work there are just the Nicest people you will ever want to meet. We have visited other locations when we first moved here till we found LabCorp on CC & Monterey. I've watched the Employees work with ALL there patients and we all receive the same professional care with the same sense of regencies. These Employees are on Top of there game. Patrick, Shawna and Yoli are the best!! They have always been very kind to me. They always ask how I'm feeling and make me feel welcomed everytime I go in. This is the only labcorp I will go to. I have visited 3 other labcorps in the desert and this is by far the friendliest and most efficient in the Coachella valley. read more

I had to get some blood work done and stopped in here one morning without an appointment. Only had to wait a few minutes, so I was in and out very quickly. I was able to get my results from EMC.org (Eisenhower Medical Center portal) within just a day or two. Very conveniently located to where I live as well. read more

A big Thank You to the staff :) I arrived for my 10:30 apt after fasting to realize I had forgotten my medical card. The guy at the desk was able to retrieve my info from my Medical group because I had been there before and they had a link to that particular group. The young girl with Blue Hair called me back and had me sit in the chair we made some small talk and I learned she was to draw 6 Vials. It all started well but 1/2 way through I was feeling, sweaty, light headed and sick so she had me place my head on the armrest and I was out cold. I woke up to the dark haired woman (who had drawn blood on prior appts rubbing my back and I heard her say I was coming to. The dark haired woman brought me cold compresses and water & kept checking in with me while I was still in the chair as she continued with her patients. I felt better then had a relapse as the blood drained from my face again so she moved me to lay on a table with cold compresses. Thank Goodness for this woman who was so caring and made sure I was ok. You can feel her warmth and kindness. 45 min after my appt I was out the door heading home and feeling better. This is not the closest LabCorp to my home in Palm Desert but the one I am comfortable at.The only improvement I would like to see is management have OJ or fruit juice in a back Frig available for such cases. read more

They changed their office an it says across the street which it isn't so went all around this building looking for it when I found it it was 2 minutes before closing and they just kicked us out and said "no" we are closed and was sushing us out!!!
