This was easily one of the best Labcorp experiences I've had. The location on Bob Hope Drive is incredibly convenient--you can drive right up to the front entrance without having to navigate a huge medical complex. The front desk staff were warm, calm, and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel much less stressful than many other labs. A special thank-you to Chelsea, who is an outstanding phlebotomist. I require a butterfly needle and blood draws from my wrist, so I'm not the easiest patient. Chelsea was the perfect blend of professionalism, skill, and genuine kindness. She maintained eye contact, kept me engaged in conversation, and made me feel completely at ease. It was possibly the easiest and most painless blood draw I've ever had. If only a heard a hello, or some sort of greeting. But no, right to business. Given the sparse waiting area, I guess the vibe that I'm a number, not a person, worked. Inside, my nurse was nice, great at his needlework, and efficient. The run I was in, the booth, was a bit like the pens we would put cattle in, when I was a kid. But, it is the only lab option in the healthcare troubled desert. So, given there are no choices, I think they deserve good marks. A lack of competition often leads to quality that is absent of care or concern. read more

This Labcorp used to take mostly walk-ins, but I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait. Good thing, too, because today the waiting room was packed and I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time. Then I heard the receptionist turn away customer after customer for not having an appointment. She said they're only taking appointments these days plus urgent cases (as designated by the ordering physician). For fun, I checked the appointment site and saw the next available appointment was 6 days from now. That's ridiculous. The only reason they can't take walk-ins now is because they're trying to get by with less staff. They haven't made more appointments available. Is Labcorp having financial problems or is this greed? Everyone has a different experience in life. That said, I have the highest regard for the professionalism and care given by all the staff in this lab. They are very friendly folks and I haven't had a long wait at all - even when they have a full lobby. My appointments are for blood testing and, so far, only "vampires" have done my blood draws. I should explain that my use of the word "vampire" is the highest compliment - since I have never liked giving up any of my blood. Not only that, their technicians have done only painless and quick draws...even to fill multiple vials. You should know that they have an automated check-in kiosk that you can use before going to the counter. Some folks find this a little difficult because of their lack of familiarity with tech. But once used, I found it mostly straightforward and intuitive. Just be sure to bring your Insurance Card and Driver License. And if you find the kiosk too difficult to use, there's always support at the counter. Two More Tips: 1) Ask your Doctor's office to give you a copy of the blood draw order so you can compare it with what they have at Labcorp - to be sure you get all the tests your Doctor ordered. I do not recommend this location. Extremely disorganized front desk. I had an appointment, and did not get seen for at least 45 min past my confirmed time. Front desk lady was very rude, and extremely unorganized, forgetting some of the customers were waiting. No management present to assist. I have been staying away from places due to the pandemic. I needed to get some bloodwork done so I downloaded the App & made an online appointment. Today was my appointment day. With mask on I entered the place and there was around six people in there. An X was marked on the floor so you knew where to stand. There was also spaced seating. The place was very clean & you could tell these folks are doing everything possible to keep this place as germ free as possible. This location is going to be my go to location. I was greeted in a timely and orderly manner with the most amazing receptionist who was patient and knowledgeable about my particular insurance policy (VA). After getting ever in order despite the fact that they were closing for lunch, the lab tech, Christina drew my blood with a smile, she was good NO PAIN BLOOD DRAW!!! This lab was efficient, but billing experience was horrible. Billed the wrong VA location. I called to explain and got the representative from Hell. She would not listen, was hard to understand, would not let me talk to supervisor. She kept reading a canned speech. Still trying to straighten out a bill from April. Wasted my time. Came in today for a drug test for my new job and had the most pleasant experience. It was easy to check in at the kiosk and the front desk woman was very helpful. I was seen quickly. The best part was the lab guy who did my drug test. He was sweet and made me feel super comfortable. Stevo H was a really great lab guyand very great with his clients. He even was personable! This location is so unorganized and the employees are so rude to the patients, directing them to do one thing then another person demanding they do the opposite. One employee told my husband to wait inside s he was the 3rd person to check in. Another told him to go outside and not in a nice way, he told her the first lady said to wait inside, she wouldn't let him speak, telling him to go outside! He steps outside then she comes out and yells for him, it's his turn... An employee that was just arriving yelled at an older patient to "mind their own fucken business" when he insisted she put her mask on. They have no respect for anyone, not one drop of professional etiquette. Last time we're going to this location and definitely letting everyone i know about it too. read more

I'm having Surgery and was required to have a COVID antibody test. I thought it was gonna be a huge pain in the butt. Oh my God! was I wrong. First of all, I live about 15 minutes away from here. It took me longer to get here than I was actually in this business. I am not kidding! I had a 745 appointment. I was there about 735. I checked in (which you can do online so you don't have to go inside.)About two minutes later they told me they were ready for me. I briefly spoke to the receptionist. The phlebotomist took me in, took my blood and I was done. I'm not kidding I was probably in there five minutes. The whole process went so smoothly. I wish I could remember the name of the receptionist, and the phlebotomist. They were both wonderful. If I ever need a blood draw again,I'm definitely coming back here. read more

Had a good experience here , our paper didn't arrive via fax like they were supposed to . The gals working looked through everything They no where to be found . Omg!!! This is the WORST place on the planet!!! Zero customer relations, no help at all if your having problems with paperwork. My 85 year old mom and I had to come back 3 times to get her blood drawn because the stupid receptionists were of zero help. Apparently my moms blood order was sent to a different Labcorp and the receptions had the audacity to stand behind the counter and told me to call the other place. RUDE!!! After we waited 45 minutes to be called on they told us they had no paperwork...we physically went to get her paper and when we came back the receptionist told us we would have to wait another hour plus to be called on. Mind you this was out 3rd trip back ugh. That was the ultimate rude in my book. read more

AWFUL. Woman at the front desk was horrible. She couldn't find my daughters order form, we had to have her doctor send it over twice. Then she said she did not have the testing down for the led so my doctor herself had to call. Incompetent. She was extremely rude and when I asked her questions, she simply ignored me. As if I didn't exist. Appalling. She then said she had to call to make sure we were "allowed" to use our business credit card. Even though I have been to lab Corp 100 times and never had an issue. I even was there last month with no issues. The women taking my ten months old blood were sweet. They both couldn't find her veins and only managed to get a quarter of one tube. I would leave no stars. The staff is unprofessional by discussing other employees in front of patients. Hostile environment to say the least. The place is filthy dirty and I felt like I needed to take a scalding hot shower when I left there. The lab technician that took my blood was not in the least bit sensitive and jammed the needle in my arm. I would recommend to anyone NOT to come here. read more
