We have used this service many times and are very satisfied. However, sometimes the computer or something may err and a reservation becomes a wait which was fortunately cleared up. My lady needed bloodwork done and they seemed short staffed. A very kind and professional lady named Zerlinda took care for her and we were on our way. This staff is overworked and needs help. I have had horrible experiences for the last year trying to get blood drawn for my doctor. I have gone to every Quest Lab in the Coachella Valley and none of those labs could get blood from me. I had very bad experiences with the phlebotomist's being rough and very rude. I went to Labcorp in Bermuda Dunes last week and had my blood drawn by Cheryl and again today by Tamera, they got my blood on the first try!! They are so awesome!!! It was a great experience and they were both very gentle. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be seen either time. They are all very professional and experienced. This place is ridiculous! The front office staff are so rude. Told me I needed an appt or I'd have to wait 1.5-2hrs and I said that's fine I need to wait and I understand there's a wait time. They told me I needed to check in on kiosk, while I was checking in the two front staff kept looking up at me and talking amongst themselves saying why can't people make an appt or go somewhere else to Indio or La Quinta offices (just talking shit like I can't hear them clear as day) something wasn't working on kiosk and guy came over to help and I asked if there was a problem with me walking in because I hear everything they're saying. and he said "No there's not but you should make an appt!" So rude and he looked so pissed off, I get they deal with this everyday but obviously there's reasons why some people can't make an appt and need to walk in. If they get so upset and this annoyed at their job it's time to work somewhere else, especially when walk ins are supposedly welcome in lab corp! read more

UPDATE FOR LAST VISIT: In the Bermuda Dunes location, after I checked in, the front desk asked me to step up, saying she could not find the order from my doctor -- who just *re-faxed* it three days ago for the **second** time! It took 5 minutes before she found the fax in a *stack* of papers. I was then told to go take a urine sample. The bathroom REEKED of urine like a gas station bathroom. Disgusting! Moreover, your form asks the first name I preferred. I am 61 years old, I wrote I preferred "Mr. Martin." When the (much younger) male phlebotomist calls me in, he starts questioning me as to why I want to be called Mister! I told him I was nearly 40 years older than most who worked there. Rude! Further, I am disabled with PTSD. Another time at this LabCorp, I mentioned the PTSD to another phlebotomist so she could understand my anxiety. The first thing she asks is why I have PTSD. This was none of her business, and she became quite cold when I responded, "It's private, and I would rather not say." She then gave me the cold shoulder for the rest of the draw. THIS is part and parcel for LabCorp's Bermuda Dunes staff members. I hate LabCorp nearly as much as Desert Advanced Imaging. Your Bermuda Dunes location is below county-level medical care on its rude staff and horrible waiting room. Oh, and the waiting room looks like a welfare office with bright white paint and torn chairs on which to sit. LabCorp is the only game in town, and it shows. I called to this location before to go there just make sure what's their work hours during quarantine. For this exact location work hours was from 8 am to 4:30 pm. So the soonest I can come was 4:23 and when I knock door was closed but I can hear someone inside watching TV. In couple minutes some LabCorp worker opened door without mask on her face. I asked her why they are closed? Because official work hours during quarantine on this location till 4:30 pm but she start argue with me and pointing on some piece of paper at the door which said that their work hours till 4:00pm. I explained her that I called to official number for this location and it says there that they work till 4:30 but she didn't listen to me and start talking that hours are different cause of quarantine. I answered her again that I called to official number for this location and they QUARANTINE HOURS from 8 am to 4:30 pm That's why I came, I actually needed just drop off very important test for my daughter and I couldn't do it earlier! Because I had to wait for my 2 year old daughter do toilet so I can collect her stool and she did it on Friday right before their locations closing. I am sorry for details, but if I could drop off test on Friday it could increase chance to get result earlier so we can start treatment earlier, because we are in the situation where we can't wait for long. I am very disappointed about this old lady LabCorp worker - she's lying about work hours to the customers, even if she's not lying then they have to change work hours in their phone number to correct hours! Also if the location is closing at 4:00 pm why she stayed there watching TV till 4:35pm and didn't leave earlier? I saw her leaving location at 4:35 pm...it seems that she know what's the correct work hours :( I want everyone be aware about this. I just want their workers be more serious about job they do because it's human health related job! Absolutely terrible. I had an appointment to get a Glucose Tolerance test done. It clearly stated on the order that it was a 2 hour Glucose and Insulin test. The first time, they did it incorrectly. They didn't take my blood before giving me the drink. They gave me the drink, I waited 2 hours and they took 1 vile of blood. The second time they did it incorrectly again. They took 1 vile of blood, gave me the drink, waited 2 hours and they took 1 vile of blood again. What was supposed to happen was to take 2 viles of blood. One for glucose and one for insulin when I first got there then drink the drink. After 2 hours, take another 2 viles and thats it. How hard can it be? This is your profession and I literally had a total of 8 different people look at my lab order and mess up. How does this happen? THEN..... my doctors office was calling them to get my results and found out that for the SECOND time, they didn't test correctly. LabCorp instructed my doctors office that they would call me to reschedule. Almost 3 weeks, 12 messages and $160.00 later, I still have not heard from them. Not only did they mess up twice but they took away work days from me which is unacceptable. read more

The only business that I absolutely hate visiting but has still managed to earn 5 stars from me. This particular LabCorp location keeps an immaculate office, much more sanitary than other's in the valley I've been to. Every single interaction with a staff member has been phenomenal. The people working there are all professional, caring and compassionate. They get the job done quickly and effortlessly, even easing the terrible anxiety I have of anything medical related. There was one time they gave me the wrong stool sample kit. Within an hour they called me to let me know, corrected the problem and were nice and apologetic about it. They allowed me to pick up the correct kit the following day since I wouldn't have been able to make it back there by closing time. Check out the lackluster reviews for other Coachella Valley LabCorp locations and realize why you should choose to place your trust and health here. Unfortunately I had to return to this LabCorp because I had a doctor appointment two doors down the hall. This place is the most poorly run laboratory in my memory. The front desk employee was curt, discourteous, and insensitive. There was quite a bit of confusion about my paperwork getting into the phlebotomist's computer. Once that was resolved, the phlebotomist was quite competent and friendly and I didn't receive the bruises that I experienced after my last visit. However, it has been over a week and my physician and I are still waiting for the test results. When I called to find out what was holding up the test results, I was put on "a brief hold" and the representative left me hanging for over fifteen minutes. I finally hung up and left two messages, neither of which have been returned. read more

There was a line of people by the time they opened at 8am. The Labcorp person, Albert , was jovial and courteous. The "new" electronic check in was efficient and easy to use. I don't know about anyone else but I hate my annual checkups. Just shoot me now. I never hydrate enough so when they have to draw blood I never have enough in me. Given the fact that I hate doing this my visit to LabCorp made this situation worse. I visited the office on Washington and it was just as crowded as the one on Corporate Court. The first thing that I noticed was that the front desk personnel could not have cared less to have me standing there with a bewildered look on my face. Elaine was rude and short with all that approached her so I didn't take it personal. LabCorp needs to hire more people to work for there very crowded offices. They also need to have someone to help older people use the kiosks. The only saving grace to my visit was Cheryl Piccirilli who drew my blood. She was very kind and actually listened when I explained to her that it was hard to draw my blood. She accomplished drawing my blood without killing me in the process. She was gentle and very caring. It's just to bad that Elaine made this visit horrible. She definatly needs Customer Service training and fast. read more
