Every single interaction with a staff member has been phenomenal. The people working there are all professional, caring and compassionate. They get the job done quickly and effortlessly, even easing the terrible anxiety I have of anything medical related. There was one time they gave me the wrong stool sample kit. Within an hour they called me to let me know, corrected the problem and were nice and apologetic about it. They allowed me to pick up the correct kit the following day since I wouldn't have been able to make it back there by closing time. Check out the lackluster reviews for other Coachella Valley LabCorp locations and realize why you should choose to place your trust and health here. You can go online and make your appointment or you can drop in just before 7 o'clock like I did. I have always been surprised at how quickly they can work you in. They are really efficient in signing you in, interviewing you, putting your armband on, and calling you back to get your blood work drawn. Because it's affiliated with Eisenhower medical center, there's a friendly positive welcoming vibe from the second you step inside the doors. You're in and out very quickly. The waiting room is so nice and relaxing. I don't know how they maintain their cheerfulness all day. I usually go in the day before my appointment and it's always done in time. Located just right of the main entrance and left of Urgent care. Grab a bagel at Einstein brothers in the lobby on the way out, especially if you were fasting.

My first mammogram in my 30's was so yucky I decided I was done with them. Fast forward to my 50's and my hubby insisted (from a loving place) that I soldier up and get one done. To my surprise and relief, my experience at Eisenhower Breast Center was the complete opposite of my previous experience. The waiting room was warm and inviting with gentle lighting, and the check in process was swift. I waited about 5 minutes before being brought back for changing into my gown and was treated with Mom-like care by the nurse performing my exam. She was so kind and considerate of my comfort. The whole process was 15 minutes from arrival to exit. This month I completed my 3rd breast exam in a row at Eisenhower; I will never avoid them again because I will continue at this wonderful facility.

Called to confirm my time this morning and the lady who answered gave concise, easy-to-understand information and helpful directions. In Palm Desert today for a barium swallow test. First time to this beautiful facility. Arrived at 1245 for a 1-pm appt. First in line at check in. Insurance and ID Paperwork done in 5 minutes. Was called in for my procedure exactly at 1pm. Was greeted by two techs who explained what the test involved and got me prepped quickly. They were later joined by the radiologist who completed the final imaging. IN and OUT in 25 minutes. Took an extra five 5 minutes to wander the halls and admire the amazing skeletal images that adorned the walls. Waiting room had 20+ patients as I exited the facility. Was happy to have arrived during their sweet spot.-

I was never contacted and had to call to get the imaging scheduled. When I called to schedule my imaging the scheduler insisted that what my orthopedic had ordered was medically unnecessary. If that sounds like a receptionist playing doctor without a license that's because it is. After getting the request fixed, I arrived an hour early to my appointment. I was told they didn't have time for my appointment at all that day and I would need to call the number that screwed up the first time because their desk wasn't comfortable scheduling the imaging. Again, another receptionist deciding what my doctor had ordered was something they didn't feel like doing. I won't ever go here again.

It is one thing to pay $1,275.00 for a full body MRI in a closed tube for one hour, but to be tortured from point of entry to a place so dirty, it boggles the mind how the 'grimy' front door remains open to the public! Words cannot express the painful experience of being 'attacked' by three staff personnel and having to call my spouse for support. Upon reading some prior complaints, it appears I wasn't alone. My only saving grace is that I walked... flew... out of there before suffering further distress. Not even a professional call-back from the office manager apologizing for this unexpected nightmare.

This delays viewing your images, and they are only available form short time. The process is not necessary. They should just post the images on my chart like it says they do. I gave them four Stars due to this extra step, which is the whole reason you go to them.

Turns out that it was to make an appointment for the procedure. It's 10/20, I'm in such pain that I'm getting an injection in my hip (was asked if I'm in pain by the appt maker...DUH) but can't get an appointment until 11/5. I've already been through 2 courses of steroids so the injection is kinda of the last thing I can do. Now I'll have to go back to the doctor to get pain meds to last me until then.
