I was in some pain and needed to see someone. I spoke with Michelle( I think her name was) and was very pleasant and kind on the phone. I get there and the provider was just as kind as Michelle. That day, Michelle was working as; Medical Assistant, Lab Technician and receptionist. Which those are 3 different jobs btw. I needed some lab testing and they were very gentle despite my situation. Then- this is where it kind of went down hill. I was summoned to come back due to an "error" with the lab. I was very hesitant as this was very painful procedure. It was a different provider and this one - not so gentle hands. I was ready to walk out. I was in tears in the exam room from so much pain. I could hear the assistant apologizing profusely while I was laying on the bed. Not to mention this provider opens the door while a male was standing at the door while I not fully dressed. When done, I walked out almost in tears. During this. They have an option to text a number. Forget that. I have been texting them questions since July 7( now July 13) and YET no answer. So don't bother with that. To make matters worse. I get yet ANOTHER call saying the lab messed up my SECOND sample and had to come in again. I cried. I said so your lab messed up a second time?! I get there- very unhappy. I'm irritated at this point. My original provider comes in. I made a comment about this being the third time and she was confused. Apparently it was NOT documented that I came in the previous day to take samples so the employees the next day weren't aware. Imagine my relief but extreme frustration. Still waiting for confirmations and questions. So I'm really disappointed in this place. I was very pleased with my first visit. But I don't know.

While, mammograms are a very nerve -wrecking and uncomfortable experience, I know I'm in good hands when I come here. I never wait more than 15 minutes to be seen and the waiting room is very comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming. The two ladies at the front are always very professional. Before your mammogram. They have someone who comes out to welcome you and take you to the back with instructions on how to disrobe. I was welcomed by a friendly African American woman ! Then, in the waiting room, there are goodies including mints and lip gloss . I always take several of them for keepsakes lol Goldie was my tech and she made me very comfortable. Today, I think she knew how scared and panicked I was. But, we got them photos done. Melissa did my ultrasound again this visit and she is very nice and listened to my concerns. I'll be back in 6 months for another mammogram and I'm confident my experience will be great.

She failed to rule out other things etc as no labs were ran other than a UA. It's incredibly disheartening and sad that patients have to deal with this while they are in pain. However, I later received an unexpected separate office visit charge in addition to the preventive exam billing. My concern was not the care itself, but the lack of transparency regarding billing. During the wellness visit, the provider briefly reviewed outside lab results I had brought with me, and I was later billed for a separate office visit associated with that discussion. I was not informed during the appointment that this could result in an additional charge. After reviewing my visit documentation, I also felt portions of the note did not fully reflect my understanding of the visit, particularly regarding the extent of evaluation performed beyond the wellness exam. After raising concerns and providing supporting documentation, the office acknowledged overlap between the preventive visit and additional billing and indicated the matter would be reviewed. However, I did not receive a final follow-up or resolution regarding the coding review or reimbursement request. I would encourage the practice to improve communication around preventive visit billing and provide more consistent follow-up during billing disputes.

Upon entry I again said maybe I need to keep searching because you literally can see the dust on many of the items that are both on the floor and strewn upon the tables and walls .... and there's so much tattered signage on the wall you don't know what to look at or what's relevant .... But the service! The front desk woman was phenomenal! Her "bedside manner" was top notch as I listened to her ease the worries of folks on the phone and simultaneously take care of me and one other patient. She was truly the shining star of this establishment. And my wait time was non existent which was really nice! I completed paperwork, insurance was verified and the doctor saw me right away. The doctor was interesting because I felt as though she was more interested in my nail design and handbag than in truly paying attention to what I was sharing about my illness.... But she diagnosed me and sent my prescriptions right over to the pharmacy with no issues. So, as I said in the beginning, tough review to write because the service provided was pretty good, however, the packaging in which it all was wrapped was tattered and we all know presentation matters, so, this was a one and done experience for me and I'll be returning to Inova or Patient First where I feel cleanliness standards are met,
