The check-in monitor in the small waiting room did not seem to work, however, Paris (lab tech/nurse) confirmed that my paperwork was already in their system when I went in back to the lab intake room. Paris was very organized and professional so I appreciate her dedication. The waiting room was filled with chairs and gave a dark appearance ? The space also did not seem clean and sanitized for a Monday morning. I feel the atmosphere could greatly be improved for cleanliness in the waiting room to the small intake rooms for the welfare of patients & the employees. I am not sure if all techs are phlebotomist, as I did have some bruising afterwards that I don't normally have. I hope this company improves this office so i can return another time with 5 star rating.

This is a clean, brightly lit new facility for Labcorp. I visited without an appointment so wait…read moretime was longer. I'm not sure if making appointments helps much. I saw that those with appointments were waiting for quite some time past their time slots and it didn't seem to make much difference. The initial check in process is completed using the kiosk and then verified by the phlebotomists. It took awhile for that to happen since they do both check ins and drawing blood. So at certain points, nobody's manning the front desk making patients who are unfamiliar with the set up confused and frustrated. Parking is free and does not require validation or payments. One just needs to take the elevator to go upstairs and it's to the left of the elevators. Once it was my turn to have my blood drawn, the venipuncture portion went by quickly. The person who took care of me had a nice sense of humor and didn't miss the vein or anything. I wouldn't mind visiting this lab for future bloodwork needs.

Which i had to go through my online portal to find the order my doctor had sent to them. Also berated me about their system check in which ask questions about visits. However i reiterated I'm not here for a visit I'm just dropping said bag off. She then told me to wait. Another person comes to the desk and calls my name minutes later, proceeds to look at my records in her system and immediately print the lab order and say thanks that's all. There are some rude and incompetent people in the world. But if you're going to work in a field dealing with people and a company's computer system you should know how to review charts and be somewhat kind atleast.

I was called to the back a little earlier than my scheduled time and the nurse (Madison) did her thing because I have "deep" veins and it's typically an ordeal to have blood drawn but one try and BOOM all done and done pain free! I am coming back here every time I need labs done and asking for Madison.

Came to get my 3 day old newborn daughter's blood drawn for a bilirubin test and they took half a…read morevial that is sized for adults between two arm IV draws, after asking me as a new mother if she was dehydrated or had enough to eat, just to not be able to process the test. We came to a pediatric lab office and they did a heel prick and collected 1/4 the sample that this Lab Corp collected and were able to run the test. If you are incapable of doing pediatric care, then say so before you draw that much blood out of a newborn child. I high recommend you go elsewhere with your child as even when we questioned how much blood was taken, the techs said the doctor needed at least half the vial for a child.

The second time they needed to enter the orders and they had no clue what they were doing and unfortunately missed entering a basic CBC even though they drew the right tube for it so they never ran the test. Now I will have to have my blood drawn again! Also - I have great veins and it took them three sticks to get two vials of blood. This has never happened before and I am in my 60'd. In the end I had huge bruises on both arms. I will not be retuning to this location.

This phlebotomist mishandled my blood samples. Twice…read more The first time, they didn't get it to FedEx on time, rendering the sample - which required 24-48 hour delivery- no longer viable. The testing lab received the sample eight days after the blood draw. Phlebotomist blamed FedEx. Not having the tracking ticket, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second time, I kept and followed the tracking closely. They did not deliver sample to FedEx until 35 hours after the collection, again making delivery to the lab in CA later than the 24-48 hour requirement. They then lied to me about it repeatedly both on the phone and in writing and, again, blamed FedEx. In my experience, this phlebotomist did not maintain high ethical standards, leading me to doubt that the sample she sent to the lab had been collected and processed in a professional and ethical manner. I cancelled the test and had it redone at my own expense. StatLab delayed my diagnosis and interrupted my health care as well as costing me time and energy at a time when I am unwell and limited by illness.

I thought it was good of them to be transparent upfront so that you won't be in for any surprises if insurance didn't cover the costs for some reason. The staff was friendly. The facility is very clean and neat which was good to see. My appointment was quick with no time wasted. You're in, you're out, then you're on your way back home.
