The doctor was not a very good communicator (maybe English is her second language?) and did not appear to take my pain seriously. She also confused me by telling me the things she can't do because it was a primary care visit. The next week I waited and there was no call for my lab results. I had to call for them. She said she must've left me a message. She did not. She said all my tests were negative. Meanwhile I'd seen my regular doctor who found out what was wrong (a common health problem) and treated it. I had visited the Springfield Va Kaiser Permanente earlier the same day, although the drop off home location was verified via: voice they still had the incorrect drop off for my home address, although the address itself was correct the City was incorrect which caused the confusion and stressed me the hell out. The Drop off should had been: 8220 Russell Rd, Alexandria Va, the Uber dispatch put in 8220 Russell Rd, Fairfax, Va which the driver proceeded to take me, while at the time I had (Cataract issues) and was not able to notice that the area was unfamiliar to me until he had gotten close to the Woodbridge, Va Kaiser. After being so stressed that I had been heading in the wrong direction the entire time I had informed the driver that I do not live in Woodbridge and I was being taken to an area that was unknown to me. (Not his fault however) to make a long story shorter the driver decided since It was getting dark and I was unable to see at night that it was best for him to drop me back at the closest Kaiser that we were near which happens of course to be the Minniville location this doctor's appointment was to had been a round trip there and back, however after being dropped off I along with driver went into the clinic and the clinic to explainthe mix uup and "Tiffany" had been the person to deal with this mess (Poor Girl) however she handled my situation with such professionalism and contacted the Uber for me as I was to stressed to do it myself she even stated to me that if she was unable to get it corrected while on the phone with them that she would call me an Uber under her own account and simply pay for it (I didn't want that) however I had to get home. She talked with the Uber dispatch and explained the situation and how I had ended up at the Woodbridge location when we had just left the Springfield location once all was said and done I between the dispatch and miss Tiffany the results were that another Uber was on it's way to pick me back up with the correct destination input into their system. Although a very long review, I just want others to understand how "Tiffany Asiedu" had took a stressful situation (for me) and handled it with such professionalism and calmness that I wouldn't had expected to come from an employee at Kaiser, She gave me a whole new look about the company after this and now I even recommend the clinic to others for their outstanding staff and professionalism and that they go the extra mile for their patients. A Dr. Cristina Natalia Perez Policarpio came in angry that i was on her chart, visibly frustrated asking how i did it. I simply used kaisers choose a doctor option and picked a random doctor. She shushed and belittled me for talking to loud, i have bad hearing as a result of many childhood ear infections. Then when i asked about adhd, she told me that i shouldn't get an adhd evaluation because "they ask too many questions". Then she asked if i believe in god. I said no i don't. She went on to say i should pray to god because only he can help me. This is abhorrent behavior from a doctor, and kaiser should be very concerned to have that sort of behavior at their facility. I experienced this as inappropriate religious intrusion into medical care and a failure to provide appropriate guidance for a documented neurodevelopmental condition. The encounter contributed to my distrust of doctors and made it harder for me to seek care afterward. This form of behavior should not be legal or tolerated. The event occurred on january 29th 2024. I only hope i am able to still take action against this doctor.

This one I am glad to report is one of the good ones. Basically everybody that works there is great from the front desk Michelle who is helpful and relatable. The medical assistant Katie made me feel comfortable let me ask my questions and instruct me on what I needed to know. Then I met Dr. G who went above and beyond to let me know how serious my various conditions were that I had and gave me a practical but tactical plan to intelligently work to stop and potentially reverse each one. I had a number of side problems that I thought were unrelated to my core issue and he patiently thoroughly explained how they were all related and how it would progress to something much worse potentially something that could really ruin my life. I ask a lot of questions the doctors which I'm sure annoys them, but due to having some weird stuff I felt let down by so many. I have educated myself deeply on my own health issues but of course I am biased and have blind spots. The fact that I went to an urgent care to take care of a foot but that I was able to be happily convinced to intervene now and work with him to take the necessary steps towards greater health is something I've never seen before. And I have yet to see Dr. Axl which I should be doing soon I already have great faith that he will follow in the same great care and quality. Talking to Dr. G he explained how not urgent care centers are the same and that there's different ways they can operate and that really showed me what a gem I have stumbled upon. They have a primary care doctor there which is amazing so now I can switch my doctor there and make appointments for that or walk-ins. Now I don't know how expensive this is for everyone everyone has their own concerns with how that all breaks down. But Dr. G was very thorough with me in helping me even to understand to make it work which I've never seen before at any of the doctors I've been to. He did a thorough work up on me getting the bulk of test done today which I now have a series of follow ups that I can do and I know that I'm on the right track now. For anyone reading this I know that we all have different issues different concerns it's really hard to find a good doctor if you don't have one already and I suggest if you live in this area and you need an urgent care try this one out make sure, make sure you're clear on everything, as we know you can get surprises but the office is transparent and upfront as this, that delivers such quality as well as offering a multitude of services not seen by most urgent care centers, I think Xcel Urgent Care is a great add to Falls Church and is worth a visit if you're considering it,

I took an appointment at his travel clinic, but they quoted me $900-$1000, so I decided to return to the urgent care office since it was more affordable and we already had an agreed price. When the doctor saw me, he said: "You will pay $900 either here or there," implying that the decision was his, not mine. Honestly, the staff were very kind and cooperative, but this doctor's attitude was unprofessional, especially since there was already a price agreement at this clinic. When a patient is paying out of pocket, the final decision should always be the patient's, based on their budget and comfort -- not pressured into a more expensive option. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

No problem! Suddenly, when calling to settle my payments I was told I actually owed an additional $30 for a Covid test that was needed to be seen. This money was not present on the statement I was sent, despite being dated "as of February" with a December visit. Why wouldn't that $30 already been on there? Staff was nice enough but these shady practices are unacceptable for an office attending to the vulnerable. Felt pain with rain and barometric pressure drops. Had five orthopedic surgeons say "you need to get your knee replaced." Was about to agree with them, but sometimes it pays to be skeptical. Dr Hamilton and others came up with a treatment. "Knee replacement?" They were correct. Pain was caused by previous surgery done by another practice, that's no longer recommended as doctors and medical professionals have learned. After six months of PT, I was able to avoid this unnecessary surgery. Thanks to Anderson my knee is now properly aligned, and without the cost and pain either. Definitely go here!
