Horrible experience with a standard blood work..my arm had bruises for two weeks...I find another lab if I were you

Front desk is not friendly. The first thing I was told was to put on a mask. Very rudely. I told the person drawing my blood that I do get light headed so I'll just need a second before I get up. She was nice and tried to comfort me. The front desk overheard and she told me that I should have went to the other location on Sudley because they don't have beds there. Obviously I didn't know that since it was my first time at this location. I was still pretty light headed but I was moved back to the waiting area so I could get out of their way. Not a great experience. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Quick entry, excellent fast blood draw. Don't get the grumpy reviews, I get treated great every time. I only had one bruise over the years, and that's when a phlebotomist (no longer there) disregarded my recommendation for where to draw. I am a doctor, but what did I know...? My phlebotomist today was perfect. read more

The wait here is atrocious. Hours. And most of the front desk staff seems irritable at being bothered by clients with questions. To be fair, I have heard two staff people speak kindly and seem to want to be helpful, so that's good. I recommend anywhere else for getting blood drawn if at all possible unless you have all day. read more

The woman working at the front desk was incredibly rude. She consistently rolled her eyes and sighed and shook her head multiple times though out our conversation. She treated us like we were supposed to be familiar with the entire process even though it was our first time stepping into a LabCorp. The phlebotomist was also a bit short tempered and demanding when asking for information. Both workers didn't seem to do well with answering our concerns or making us feel welcome. read more

I scheduled my annual bloodwork at the wrong Labcorp. (Still new to the area). There was a provider, Annie, who didn't make me feel stupid for going to the wrong location, instead she had me in-and-out in record time. Her demeanor was kind. The stick was painless, swift and gentle. (Doesn't sound plausible but it's true.) If you are going to Labcorp on Ashton Ave, look for Annie. She's worth it. read more

Esther was our phlebotomist today, she's very kind and calm person with respect she took care of my son five yrs old, later did I know she was done my son who was very nerves didn't even curry at all. thank you Esther!!! read more

I was given a sample from my rheumatologist that was taken from one of my joints. Before I could ever even get checked in the lady was giving me grief. I told her I needed blood drawn, a urinalysis, and this sample to be analyzed. She let out a big sigh and literally ROLLED HER EYES before asking where it came from. I expect more from a middle aged woman in a medical office. This is unacceptable from a young person, but I'm floored to get this reaction from someone in my own age group. Absolutely ridiculous. She told me to check in at the kiosk, but I decided to head on down he road. PW Hospital is a couple minutes away and always handle themselves professionally. I can't imagine coming back here for any reason. read more

This was my first visit to Labcorp for several ordered labs. I usually go to a different laboratory for my tests but my doctor preferred Labcorp for processing one of the tests. It was easy to make an appointment online. I had the option of waiting in my car. A text message told me when to come in. No wait to check in. I was taken back within a few minutes. The lady drawing my blood was pleasant and seem knowledgeable about the tests I had. I suggest waiting in your car since the waiting room is quite small. read more

My wife went to LabCorp on 20 Jun 19 located at 8140 Ashton Ave Ste 105B, Manassas, VA 20109, for a routine Blood draw. The attendant there mutilated her arm trying to find a vein. Left her with swellings and 3 massive bruises. We've never experienced this type of service from a LabCorp location. I work for the military and have been to over 24 LabCorp locations in 10 states. Just don't go here. Save yourself the trouble. I work in customer service and I would absolutely never treat a person the way I was treated here the other day. I didn't even want to drive to this location but I had no other choice at that time. I was half an hour early so I did the car check in process as instructed. Figured there would be waiting appointments and I would let them get through those to help out. I got a notice they were ready within ten min. I got to the lab within 4 min from walking from my car to the front desk. The front desk told me I was over ten minutes late. Mind you I had the message in my phone that showed the time stamp so I can confirm it was only four minutes. She was super rude to me and almost every person who walked through that door. Every person was taken back about how they were treated when they arrived. This person should not be working in customer service. They are absolutely old enough to know better too. No one is we being rude or causing a scene. There was absolutely no reason for this woman to treat us all this way. And as I can see from the other reviews, this apparently wasn't just a bad day for her. Save yourself the trouble and time and go somewhere else. I'll absolutely never go to this place again. read more

I went to this location in the morning and was called in right away. Annie was very professional and was able to locate my vein with first try. Every other location has to fish for my veins and I leave with three holes in my arm. read more

I went to the Ashton Ave location and received the worst care I've ever experienced. The front desk attendant was doing multiple tasks at once. When I had the blood work done, she prepped too quickly and without hesitation, inserted the needle as if she was giving me a vaccine shot. She hit my ulnar nerve, so my arm immediately jerked up and I felt the extreme sensation of hitting my "funny bone." I scared her with my reaction but she brushed it off, kept going and took the specimen. My doctor advised she damaged my nerve, but that the nerve damage should heal after a few months. It took about a month for me to stop feeling pinches in my arm while doing daily tasks. Will never go to this location again. read more

Recently opened lab. Great office! Very clean and professional staff!! Its open Mon-Friday 8am-4pm. They do close for lunch from 12-1230pm.

Lobby is packed during Covid. There is one person working and appointments are running over an hour late.

The woman working at the front window is extremely rude. The office is horrible with keeping appt times. The woman taking my blood bruised my vein. Don't go to this location! read more

I have used Lab Corp in Manassas a few times and each time the service has been great. The staff, particularly Annie, are friendly, fast and cause little to no pain when drawing blood. Thanks to Annie for making my last appointment so pleasant. read more

This place was the worst run and most inefficient place I thinks I have ever had the misfortune of going to. The person at the desk lost my paperwork not once not twice but a total of three times. I had to call the doctors office myself and have them refax it. Then the person drawing my blood said she was having trouble with the computer and although she got my blood the first time i got a pretty good bruise. After two weeks I am still waiting for results. Never again will I go there and I will advise my family and friends to avoid the place as well. Very poorly run. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I drove almost 40 minutes to my appointment because there were none available in the afternoon at the Sudley location or Woodbridge location. As I walked in, I needed 2 blood tests and 1 breath test for H. Pylori and the lady at the front desk asked me immediately "if I took any medicine for my stomach". I asked her to clarify because I am taking a few different medications. She repeated the exact sentence to me again. I told her I was still confused and she told me if I've had anything stomach related I can't do it, so she denied me of doing the test before even asking me what specific medicines I'm on. I asked her to print any info she had about the H. Pylori test and she printed and gave it to me. It had the list of medications that you shouldn't take 2 weeks prior and my medications weren't on the list. I was then immediately sent to the back with another woman, and told her "hey I think I can do this test because none of my medications look like they interfere". She laughed at me and said "okay well if you come back crying because you're sick don't blame me, you're the one who wants this test done." I then said "excuse me?" And she repeated the same sentence to me and then added "ill give you the test because you're insisting ." I was surprised at what she said to me so I stayed quiet as she was getting my blood tests ready. I sat in a chair and said (just like I always do when I get blood drawn), "I want to let you know I get queasy and have passed out before while getting blood drawn. I want to let you know before you start just so you are aware." She then said in an extremely snappy and raised tone, "What? I can't help you if you pass out! Why are you coming here? I can call 911 if you pass out but I can't give you anything or put you anywhere if you pass out!" I was MORTIFIED that someone who was about to draw my blood had said that to me. I immediately told her "ma'am I am coming here because there was no other appointments in the afternoon at other nearby locations. I am not going to have you draw my blood after talking to me like this." I walked out and the lady at the front desk caught me on the way out and she said "why are you leaving?" I told her what had just happened and then ended with a smile and a "have a wonderful day." The entire time this happened I was calm, didn't raise my voice, and used no foul language. After walking out of there, I felt that I had no choice to make a complaint because I cannot go the rest of my day thinking that these women (especially the lady in the back) treat someone else like this. I have never in my life filed a complaint on any business and I am usually extremely understanding of healthcare workers. I really hope this is addressed immediately with them. I did not get their names, but they were the only 2 ladies I saw working there. read more

On May 17, 2019, I had my annual physical, which requires blood work to be done. The phlebotomists, Samantha Winsock and Andrea, who have been known to draw my blood are extremely patient, cordial, amicable, and courteous when they tend to me. Their work area is always clean, neat, and ostensibly sterile. These two individuals know how I am extremely afraid of needles and are always very receptive and congenial with me. They make me feel comfortable in spite of my fear. They have both drawn my blood many a time over the years and I am appreciative they are there each time I have my physical. They have done blood work for my spouse and son, who also share my sentiments. read more
