Id give zero stars if I could, settled on two because the second last was kind and got the job done within two minutes. But this place consistently have rude employees at the front. Had to drop off something from the previous visit. The young worker with glasses and braces said it wasn't in the system and had to be emailed. Which i had to go through my online portal to find the order my doctor had sent to them. Also berated me about their system check in which ask questions about visits. However i reiterated I'm not here for a visit I'm just dropping said bag off. She then told me to wait. Another person comes to the desk and calls my name minutes later, proceeds to look at my records in her system and immediately print the lab order and say thanks that's all. There are some rude and incompetent people in the world. But if you're going to work in a field dealing with people and a company's computer system you should know how to review charts and be somewhat kind atleast. read more

Had to visit a Labcorp and since this location had open appointments I chose to get the labwork done here. The facility has a decent sized waiting room and offers digital check in at one of the three stations in the waiting room. Checking in on the kiosk was seamless. I was called to the back a little earlier than my scheduled time and the nurse (Madison) did her thing because I have "deep" veins and it's typically an ordeal to have blood drawn but one try and BOOM all done and done pain free! I am coming back here every time I need labs done and asking for Madison. read more

Do NOT bring your child here. What should have been a simple blood draw for my baby turned into a traumatic experience due to clear incompetence. The first tech wasn't trained or confident enough to draw blood. The second tech, Ashley, was rough and poked my baby for an extended time--still failing to collect enough, then claiming the sample was insufficient and discarding it without our consent. When we spoke to the supervisor, Erika, she was rude, dismissive, and wouldn't let us explain. She wrongly assumed this was an immigration‑related test and treated us accordingly, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We had to fight to have the sample sent, and surprise--it met minimum requirements and we got results the next day. If we hadn't stood our ground, our baby would have gone through another unnecessary blood draw. Poorly trained staff, rough handling of an infant, and an arrogant supervisor. Terrible experience. The most attitude and unprofessional places I've been to. They charged me $77 for all my ordered test but they only did one order??? I got 1 of many orders but charged me for all my lab. Murderous plague rats, especially Marylin. Immune compromised family member needed labs drawn Nov 29th. She was wearing a double mask, but NONE OF THE WORKERS AT LABCORP WERE MASKED. Asked the phlebotomist MARYLIN to wear a mask, she refused. She also totally failed to successfully draw blood. In all, twelve attempts were made before the blood draw could be completed, involving more unmasked plague rats at Labcorp stepping in to take over for Marylin. Sure enough, six days later, that family member is in the hospital, diagnosed with COVID. Circumstantial, you say? Bullshit. As an immune compromised individual, this family member has avoided leaving the house, this was the ONLY place that person went before testing positive, and had not been anywhere with public exposure for at least a week prior. NOBODY else in the house tested positive for COVID, either then, or since then. So... if you want to die, go to Labcorp. If you want to live, go anywhere but Labcorp. Good news, I hope, after TWO hospitalizations, one for COVID, the second for COVID-related pneumonia, the family member did survive. read more

I like the facility for adult bloodwork. Quick and easy. For children im not sure if its this location or what but did not have smooth visit. Poked my toddler 2 times on each arm by 2 different people and were unsuccessful getting blood all 4 times. Was told he was dehydrated but i know there was no way he couldve been he drinks a ton of fluids. I understand its hard for little ones but for their future visits i will be choosing another location. read more

I had an incident when I was 18 that scarred me for life. Before said incident, I could have blood drawn until the cows came home ... didn't bother me a bit. Enter Nurse Ratched. She pricked me FIVE times and nothing (I'm pretty sure I could have gotten something after two pricks). I remember getting very hot & dizzy ... **skip to 10 minutes later** I wake up scarred for life & I now have an intense fear of needles and having my blood drawn. **skip to 11 years later** I still hate getting my blood drawn & have definitely lied to doctors telling them another doctor drew my blood and everything was fine. In March, something was wrong and I had to have three vials of blood drawn. I chose to go to this LabCorp at 7:45am on a Friday morning. I got ready by drinking my weight in water and loading my feelgood song (Clothes Off by Gym Class Heroes) on my iPod. **skip to 7:47am** Ingrid had me in and out in under three minutes. She pricked me w/out me really knowing it and it was over. Bottom line ... If you hate having your blood drawn, go here & see Ingrid. She's the best. Don't be disappointed, though, when she won't marry you. I asked her to marry me b/c she was amazing, but she said no b/c she was already married :( read more

I wish there were (-) STARTS too. This place sucks as they have (or INVENT) new rules everytime you visit them. I have been visiting this location for almost 2years. There are ONLY 2 people who know everything. Every time I enter I try to look for these 2 , trust me if they are not working or busy in the back office, that's it, its GUARANTEED you will have an issue at the front desk. they come up with all kinds questions & TRUST me everytime they have something new. When you ask them why in my previous visit they didn't have the problem, they ONLY answer you get is, its always been like this............... I've made appointments and also come here on the fly for routine lab work. The staff are friendly, helpful. The place is clean & I've never had a wait when I've come. They've just started a self serve ID and insurance scanning set of kiosks to speed intake of information. Very quick! read more

What a disastrous experience. The only employee who administers the drug screen said he needed a break and left without honoring appointments. I waited over an hour for a mere drug test but I was a walk in. There were people who specifically made appointments who had to wait and they were not happy about it. And the workers did not engage with the patients to try to resolve the issue. They were rather rude and extremely unhelpful during this entire situation. This is the most unprofessional branch of labcorp that I have ever encountered and I would advise all those to stay away because they do not honor appointments and do not value people's time. Easily one of the worst medical experiences ever. Our toddler has had numerous surgeries and blood draws in their life. This morning the lab decided that, despite not having an appropriate needle they would proceed with blood draws. Our kid is a "tough stick" but they blamed dehydration (we just cath'd them and got a full bladder minutes after leaving the lab) and the position they were being held in, in addition to a host of other issues for complicating their inability (incompetence?) to get blood. Here's a thought, next time you're unprepared, consider telling the customer it is better to wait rather than repeatedly sticking their young child for 20 minutes and being rude to the parent. Despite having enough blood to run 1 or 2 of the 3 requested labs, the technicians felt it was better to just throw the sample out altogether rather than submitting them piecemeal. What a joke. If you have a choice, take your child somewhere else. read more

Made an appointment for a pre-employment drug screening for 1pm. I arrived on time and it wasn't super crowded. The place seems clean but not super organized. When I went to sign in they said just your name and the time. I mentioned I had an appointment and he asked for my ID and said to have a seat. They absolutely go on a first come first serve basis. The girls working there couldn't have been nicer and seemed well organized. The only down fall was that I had an appt but didn't get called back until 30 min later. That's never great when you're there for a urine test. The only thing worse would have been if I was fasting. Then I would've been hangry not just uncomfortable & slightly annoyed. I give them 4 stars though as most people dread going to these places because of the caliper of people and girls really did care and made the wait pleasant. They also apologized repeatedly for the wait. I know it can be out of their hands. The girl with the long braids at the front had a great personality and is perfect for that job, pleasant and bubbly to both the young & old. If you are unfortunate enough to have to go to a Quest or a LabCorps in the NoVa area, this one isn't too bad. I'll come back here. Its certainly better than Herndon's Quest. The wait was long, even with an appointment, but not a claustrophobically small waiting room and not terribly crowded (Around lunch hour). They got my vein without bruising it too so thats a major plus in my book. I guess my quest for a lab is over. read more

I want to commend the Ridgetop Circle LabCorp location for their patience and professionalism in drawing blood from my special needs child. It took three tries (not their fault; he has small veins) to get everything needed but they made it as easy as possible from checking us in right away to getting assistance when needed. Nidia, Rachael and Gitta make a good team. This was our first time there since this lab became the only place our insurance would cover. I am glad to have found them and will be back! read more

I was super worried and skeptical after reading all the reviews about this LabCorp and the other locations. When I walked in one of the gentleman sitting behind the desks greeted me and told me to use the automated check-in kiosks in the front. You put in your ID, the machine scans it, and you're done with checking in. Then I walked to the gentleman behind the desks. He entered some paperwork and the lab technician was already waiting for me by the time he was done. Everything was super smooth, professional and polite. I usually have a hard time with blood being drawn when I'm fasting, and the technicians have to poke me multiple times. The technician was super skilled, calming and reassuring. He only poked me once and was very kind and gentle. I definitely recommend this location, I'm guessing the the issues from the past have been taken into account and resolved. read more

It was my worst experience ever visiting this center, I was here for drug screening which is urine test , my appointment time was 12 so I reached at 11:55 , I was already holding pee since last 15 mins assuming that I will be giving urine sample may be by 12 20 but I was kept on waiting for more than an hour .....as per labcorp there system was down . This is reduliculus response from such a big diagnostic center. It was horrible situation for me to hold pee and wait for one and half hour also keeping in mind that I took lunch break from my new job where usually we will be on probation. So it was a health risk as well as job risk. When I came office my colleagues said that this kind of server down situation is always expected from this branch. read more

Avoid scheduling a glucose test with the Sterling LabCorp office. My wife, in her third trimester of pregnancy, scheduled the three-hour test early in the afternoon. As such, she had to refrain from eating or drinking water for eight hours. After waiting and waiting for over an hour, she finally was forced to interrupt a worker. She was advised that the "system is not smart enough" to schedule in the afternoon, and was told to come back the next day. Essentially, they told a very pregnant lady to fast for 8 hours, then said LabCorp allowed the appointment to be scheduled too late in the day, and then said to go ahead and fast again and take more time off of work. Not once did they ever call her to let her know that "the system is not smart enough." Not a good impression. read more

I called to make an appointment for a 3 hour glucose test and they took all my information and told me to be there by 8:15. I show up and wait and wait and wait and then when I decide to go up to the 1 person who they have for signing people in and she tells me that I don't have an appointment and they cannot do the test and she yells at me and accused me of lying about having an appointment. I showed her my phone and the date/time that I had called and she told me to have a seat and wait some more. I am 8 months pregnant and had to fast for 12 hours plus 3 hours after i drink the first solution!! These people are rude, incompetent, and simply don't care. read more

Husband and I were sent here by our doctor to have blood drawn. We both made appointments 2 weeks in advance for a saturday. Mine was at 11am and my husband at 11:15am. When we arrived the place was packed. There was no one at the desk. It was a guessing game... did we sign in, were we supposed to give someone our paperwork? Finally after standing in line I wrote our names down on the sign in sheet with our appointment times. Finally the lady at the front desk returned and started calling names. fast forward a hour and a half later and we're still sitting there waiting for our names to be called. Once our names were called we had our blood taken. Mine first then my husbands. While waiting for him to get his taken the guy who was taking the blood said "man, most guys hate it when i prick their wives, hahaha". Bottom line is why bother making an appointment when you're going to be waiting there forever anyway, and please be prepared to walk away with a huge bruise on your arm if having blood taken. read more
