If you have a family member with a language barrier or just from an older generation, make sure you schedule an appointment for them on their website and come with them. The front desk staff is not patient or friendly at all to those with tech illiteracy. First of all, the stress of COVID precautions means only 7 patients are allowed at a time in the waiting room. Which is not a bad thing, but it creates a waiting system especially for those without an appointment. Personally, I did not have any problem checking in or waiting to be seen. It was smooth sailing for me. But it really bothers me when our elders and those with a language barrier are treated as second class citizens when the people working there obviously also speak Spanish too, proven because I heard them speak it. Parking was easy and so was finding the place. read more

The wait here is absolutely ridiculous. There are so many people waiting that there isn't even anywhere to sit. They definitely need to hire more techs or have better staffing during busy hours. When we arrived, there was only one person drawing blood while also taking care of the front. Another tech eventually came back from break, but instead of helping with the long line of patients, they were in the back chatting while everyone continued to wait. It's extremely frustrating to sit here for hours, especially when you can see how understaffed and unorganized the location is. I completely understand that places get busy, but when patients are waiting this long and there aren't even enough seats, something needs to change. read more

I went to this location for the first time. I did a walk in. The services was quick and easy Alicia is super nice and she did amazing job drawing my blood. This is the care and support I will like the other locations will have. I really like this location read more

Mom had an appointment. She's in her nineties and traveling is tough. We arrived and this place was closed. No call or texted about closure and the website said open. This is unprofessional and lazy. read more

This company in general has very bad customer service. I made an appointment for lab work for May 18th in February. Now one day before my appointment I get a message that the appointment has been canceled because the lab will be closed from April 28 - October 23. If they knew that the lab would be closed from April through October why wait to notify patients at the last minute. Now I have to look for another place to do my lab work and get the results to my doctor in a week. read more

This place sucks to the core! I made an appointment for my son on 3/31/2026 to have his blood drawn on 4/24/2026, but tell me why I get an email the day before the appointment saying they have to cancel because the location will be closed from 4/14/2026 to 4/27/2026??? It's already hard enough to get an appointment and now I have to look for other options because you couldn't send me an email earlier saying the location will be closed during the time I made an appointment! Avoid this place at all costs! read more

The worst possible labcorp location... Employees here are rude and they have a sign on the door saying that their hours are variable and theyre closing this location indefinitely starting the 6th. I definitely would think twice before making an appointment at this location. read more

Office is closed.. Twice my partner and I had made appointments only to find office close. No notification from Labcorp. We are moving to Quest for future lab work. read more

I had an appointment at this place on April 28. I went to this office and greeted with a sign this office will be closed at further notice. They should send me an alert email about the closure and sending my appointment to other Labcorp office. I ended up go to Labcorp Alhambra office as a walk-in patient and waiting for over one hour for bloodwork. Very disappointed ! read more

Best lab I've ever used! Clean and organized. I checked in with the app and was called on time. BRENDA helped me all the way through, was gentle with the needle, and was cordial and professional. read more

This morning I received a text that my appointment TOMORROW was cancelled and the office will be closed from 4/28/26 to 10/23/26. I have to fast so need an early morning appointment for my doctor appointment next week. I can't find another location with availability within a reasonable distance before my doctor appointment. Now I need to reschedule my appointment! This is not the first time this Labcorp office has closed down. Why??? read more

Customer service! HORRIBLE! They last minute decided to not take walk ins... no notice, no sign, just a "too bad for you!"

Well organized! Fast, convenient check in. Blood tests were fast. And efficient. The quality of care was impressive. read more

Front desk was nice but the place is chaotic. There's tons of people waiting & not enough techs. The restrooms are also gross & not cleaned enough. Been waiting for over an hour to be seen read more

Every time I come here there is always some sort of issue with getting your blood drawn. Most of the time it has to do with whether they take walk ins or if you need an appointment. If they do take walk-ins then when they take them is another wild card variable. It is a moving target. Today it was we don't take walk-ins on Fridays. I specifically checked the website before coming here to verify they take walk-ins and if so what days and times. There was nothing saying they don't take walk-ins on Fridays. I don't know if all locations are as poorly managed as this one or if it is a company wide problem. I don't know if all locations are as poorly ran as this one. Labcorp seems to be a poorly run company. read more

This place is always so chaotic. It's usually busy and the techs always seem to be flustered/confused. While they're friendly, and I enjoy chatting with them, I would not recommend this place. It often happens that I spend 20 minutes plus here WITH AN APPOINTMENT (they recently became appointment only). I almost hate to recommend the Whittier location because I don't want it to get crowded. Beyond the wait time and annoyances like always having to request a new lab order, (even though I have a standing lab order because I get the same tests done every month) the place is convenient because it's five minutes from my home. Parking is typically tight and street parking it tough because it's near residences. I highly suggest you make an appointment here and come prepared to spend some time and get a headache here. Three stars because I can count on them to get the results in on time to my doctor! read more

Terrible Terrible Service. For starters it takes over 10 days to get an appointment. I arrived a bit earlier than my appointment time and the wait to get my blood drawn was over an hour and a half!!! I've been to other locations and it's never this terrible. The staff is rude never again coming to the Montebello location. Labcorp should work on training their staff better read more

Can't make an online appointment until 3 weeks our or more. Corporate does a poor job of always answering their phone. On labcorp website it says appointment is recommended however this location is actually appointment required. What a waste of time. The front staff would have less attitude if this place closes down and they lose their jobs. They lack professionalism. Especially to the elderly or to those don't speak English. So rude. Go to quest! Much cleaner and better customer service read more

10/02 Showed up for my 1:30 pm appointment at 1:15pm , Checked in with the link I was provided yesterday 10/01. Took longer than expected to get a text so I decided to call and I realized online It stated they were closed. So i walk upstairs to confirm & door was closed with a note stating They were closed 7:00-1:00. What kind of bullshit is this ? Was not notified AT ALL !! 10/03 : They keep calling me and leaving voicemails, apologizing that unfortunately I didn't receive the notification stating they were closed. BS how is it that multiple people didn't get one? read more

Took my grandmother here for some blood work the doctor requested. The young ladies at the front are very welcoming and nice. Didn't wait very long & had a good experience here. read more

I did not like that when you first walk in no one greets you you basically have to self check in and kind of figure it out on your own if you are technology savvy then should be easy but half of the people in the room were elderly people and the staff didn't seemed to bother and get up to offer help. One of the receptionist said to another lady to step back because of privacy issues yet when she called people to the counter she was loud and explaining peoples health private insurance and info in front of everyone kind of funny she contradicts privacy or HIPPA When they called us for an urine sample there was no soap in the restroom read more

Did a walk-in but got declined cause they only accept walkins during 7-8am. So went back te ff day and didn't wait long. Registered manually at the booth, waited for a few mins. Total time spent there, 1 hour. Receptionist was very kind. She was the phlebotomist too. She did good with me and my daughter's blood work, my daughter didn't cry. Did ours last friday and results got in today(Monday morning). Thank you! read more

This is the only place my family goes to whenever any of us need to get some blood work done. If it was possible to give a zero I would! Absolutely trash service. Disrespectful white girl who serviced me at the counter! Most LabCorps take walk-ins but this location now requires an appointment for them to see you. I tried calling in and no one answered (the number listed online is not for the direct office ) and there were no appointments online until three weeks out. I never thought I would say this but I love this place and staff is always nice. They never have a problem finding a vein on my son and staff in hospitals always struggled. The process is fast, you are in and out. I love that you can check in on the tablet by scanning the barcode confirmation on your phone. I always make an appointment but have also been there last minute without appointment and most I have waited is 10-15 minutes in a full waiting area. Parking is easy, I park in the back right in front of the glass doors. There is another LabCorp closer to my house but I have been coming here... been 15+ years, it's worth it. I always leave happy because I hate needles and they are gentle here, you can barely feel it. read more

I'm honestly being generous with a 3 star review and I'm only doing that because the phlebotomist that helped me at the end and drew my blood was sweet, helpful and I felt absolutely no pain when she withdrew blood. They lost 2 stars because of the first lazy female that acted like she didn't know how to get my insurance information. I didn't have my insurance card because I had just made changes to my insurance and had not received my new card yet. I told her this and she tells me she couldn't help me without my card. I mentioned to her that "Quest" would look it up using my name, DOB, and SSN. I also asked aren't you able to call and get the information you need? She tells me, "I wouldn't know who to call". Seriously??? I'm POSITIVE they deal with insurance ALL DAY LONG EVERYDAY!! Mind you I had my ID number. What she said she needed was my group #. Ok whatever I'll do your job for you since you're lazy. I call my insurance get the group # hang up. I give this female what she needed and she looks at me like I'm crazy and says,"Ummmm I need the group name " WTH!!! YOU SAID GROUP NUMBER and I even repeated it and you said yes group #!! So now I'm really irritated!! I had her write down everything SHE NEEDED TO HELP ME without having to make more unnecessary calls. I call my insurance back and once I was on the phone for the second call the other female finished helping me. Which I'm glad she stepped in because the other Spanish looking female with glasses is FREAKING LAZY! I didn't catch the name of the one that ended up helping me at the end but she was tall really pretty with blonde hair. LabCorp needs to thank her for her service and they should be glad that at least they have 1 excellent employee. The other one needs to find another job where she can be lazy. After reading other reviews it looks like it's the same lazy female. Same issue with numerous patients. Yet she's still employed. Unbelievable. read more

Horrible customer service and complete disregard for their patients who make appointments. They lacked particular needles required for our blood work and failed to notify us that the draw couldn't be performed that day so we showed up and time wasted. What's the point of making an appointment and specifying our particular needs, then? At least call your customers and let them know they should reschedule or go to another lab. read more

Better find another lab location folks . Place seems very hostile and unfriendly with patients. The check in processes is difficult for the elderly and must bring I'd and ins card otherwise they make it a big deal! information can be put manually by staff if they feel like it. I'm never bringing my mother here. read more

Unbelievable! Came here after booking an appt. They could not find the order which was sent electronically and according to the doctors office they confirmed receipt a few days ago. Had to wait longer than necessary. But the worst part was what I witnessed. The staff seemed to have forgotten how to have compassion for people receiving their services. I imagine a standing blood test is a sign that someone is ill. But, this didn't stop the staff for continually disrespecting a patient and basically walked away from him saying "I'm tired of this abuse." Lack of compassion and poor customer service at a place like this really disappoints me. I'm going back to Quest. Never again to Lab Corp. so yes, young lady, we do have choices (she told the patient this) and I hope someday when you are in need of service due to an illness that no one will treat you the way you treat your client. read more

Horrible service. No help is offered. People pointed towards a machine and are told to register. They are provide no tech assistance to register. My parents (78 and 67yrs old) had to ask another patient for help. My mom witnessed 4 other patients be turned away after waiting for over an hour because they didn't understand or know how to register correctly. Apparently walk in are strictly only received between 7-8am if you register any time after 8am you will be turned away, but NO ONE comes out to announce this so people are left to wait and wonder for over an hour until they are told they did something wrong and must come back. People are sitting there hungry and or with urgencies to urinate only to be turned away. These are mostly elderly patients... this lab need to come up with a better way more user friendly way to register for the elderly, non tech savvy, and those who can't read. For people to wait an hour not knowing what to expect means that NO ONE comes out or offers help for over an hour. That is unacceptable. Here is a solution LabCorp if you think of responding with we are low staffed have the staff that called out for the next patient to remind waiting patients of the expectations then they wouldn't have to wait until there name is called an hour later and be turned away. read more
