Treating patients with an attitude of "the law is the law, so it doesn't concern us" is unethical. After being temporarily laid off due to the pandemic, I was approved for Medi-cal and this was the first clinic that popped up when I searched Medi-cal accepted obgyn. They're located right next to a WIC store too. I felt right at home from day one. The staff there makes you feel like family. Even though my Medi-cal wasn't fully processed, Dr. Joy tried her best to get a hold of them and went ahead and saw me anyway. I was given pre-natal vitamins at my very first appointment. It made me feel like she really cares. Everyone at the office is extremely efficient; they always get back to me within 24 hours if I leave a message. FYI: they don't draw blood at the office for fasting labs so don't come in hangry for your annual check up. She helped me get my brother into their facility and the stay has been wonderful. Michell the Social Worker has been a blessing as well with all his needs. The LVNs and the RNs are exceptional. Very attentive and caring. All the CNAs show compassion when dealing with the patients. Last but not least Physical Therapy is the best. Esther and her team are AMAZING!!! I know she was in good hands and that has been the biggest peace of mind for our entire family. My family was able to go home and rest, knowing my grandmother was being cared for by people who treated her like she was their own family. In fact, when my grandmother came home, she missed all her new friends from BPA, and especially missed the food! She said the food was great, and she loved being so spoiled! Coming from someone who is hard to please, it was quite the compliment! ;) We don't know what we would have done without the staff at BPA, they have been our angels!!
