After our visit today, we received a follow up call from Jun to make sure that everything Jennifer, NP ordered has been done. They were even able to get an earlier appointment for my mom to see a pulmonologist. I recently transferred over to this clinic for primary care and am very happy with the care I've received thus far. I was seen by the NP (I believe her name was Jennifer), and she really took the time to talk through my lab results, concerns, and plan of care moving forward. I didn't feel rushed like at other clinics. The MAs in the front, and the ones that did my intake stuff were also very professional and nice. Would highly recommend coming here! read more

If you're sick with a cough or a flu go elsewhere, these people will not help. If you call back two months later with developed bronchitis and beggin for cough medicine or something to help because the ER keeps sending you back to your provider, again these people won't help and threaten to call your insurance due to raising your voice, again I had Bronchitis could barely talk and begged them continuously crying on the phone for help and have the nerve to threaten me because they feel I'm being loud. read more

My mom and I have visited this office 3 times now. We are new to Lucita MD. This office is always so tighty. I love how friendly and helpful everyone is. They are especially organized and when they say they will have paperwork ready in a time frame, they keep their word. The nurse practitioner is thorough and explains everything with detail and such kindness. My mom is always nervous when seeing a new doctor. She just moved here and had to make a new start with a new doctor. After seeing the nurse practitioner she told me how comfortable she made her feel. We are going to love coming here. read more

Mildly ok. They are not efficient when it comes to referrals and authorizations, even if waiting means it can turn into a big issue. I shouldnt have to play phone tag and call 3+ times in a week for a referral for a patient with health issues. Providers here are vague and rush thru the appt without explaining much. Also the bedside manner is not the best, she was kind of rude. Kept cutting off the patient when he was trying to talk. Couldnt even act interested in what he did have to say. My loved one is old school and sticks to where he has always gone but will try to get him to move doctors sooner rather than later. read more

I've only been a patient of Dr. Cruz' since 2017 but so far I have no complaints on her care and the service I received from the staff. My recent visit was with their NP, Shey, and she was knowledgeable and I felt her kindness and compassion towards her patients. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Going to any doctor's appointment is very stressful, but in this clinic, you get the assistance and care promptly and without any hassle. read more

I was auto-assigned to this doctor by my insurance company, so I didn't know what to expect. To my surprise, I was able to get an appointment within the same week. The office was clean and the staff was super friendly and courteous. I waited about 15 minutes before getting in to see the Nurse Practitioner who was super knowledgeable and seemed really interested in what was going on with me. They took care of the prescriptions I needed and I was out the door within an hour. Maybe they had some changes in the staff recently, but I don't agree at all with some of the previous posts here. I left feeling positive about my new PCP office and hope to keep the relationship going. read more

Do not expect medical care here. They will randomly deny prescriptions you have been on for over a decade without telling you, then continue to refuse to fill them well after you're out. These are antidepressants and anti-epileptic drugs. When after several days of going without proper medication (something all other health professionals seriously advise AGAINST) the manager will agree to fill in 10 days worth until you're seen (because you already made an appt), but then not call it in. So finally to get your medication you just go to the emergency room. Why even bother having a primary care physician? I'm supposed to trust this person with my life and they refuse to treat me with the same medication I've been on for over ten years. Pretty amazing. I don't know how they do this to people. read more

She never looked into my illnesses she just abruptly stop giving me my medication after 28 years said I didn't need it... Please do not go to this doctor you will die and I am not joking... dr. Service is incredibly slow. Receptionists seem to be overloaded with work and can't be expected to follow up with patients or keep them all organized in their head. I've gone twice and every time I was seen by the same woman (I'm assuming a PA), never did I see the actual Doctor. And the woman I did see seemed like she had no idea what she was talking about. Not only that, she seemed uncomfortable and confused by the encounter and my husband had the same experience at this doctor. A doctor is supposed to portray anything but confusion and discomfort!!!
