When I moved to the area from Irvine, I needed to find a new doctor. I actually work at a pharmacy near her office so I was well aware of how much her patients loved her. As soon as my insurance told me she was an in-network doctor for me, I knew she was going to be my new PCP. I was seen right away. (maybe 15-20 min in the waiting room?) Thuy spent plenty of time with me, addressing all of my concerns and asked if I had any other questions. She also said if I ever needed anything, I could always just call. It made me feel like she really cares. Everyone at the office is extremely efficient; they always get back to me within 24 hours if I leave a message. FYI: they don't draw blood at the office for fasting labs so don't come in hangry for your annual check up. Ask them to send the lab order to your insurance's designated lab so you can schedule blood draw at your convenience. I highly recommend Dr. Ha to anyone looking for a caring PCP!!!!! read more

Made an appointment for a SATURDAY! to see Dr. Ha for the first time as I have been looking for a new doctor. I was so excited to see a Dr. offer Saturday hours for people like me that just can't make it on a week day. Upon entering I was greeted by two very nice young ladies, who walked me through the process of filling out the necessary paperwork as a new patient. I waited 5 minutes, tops before I was called back. Once my vitals were checked by the very professional and nice nurse I sat in the exam room for maybe 3 minutes before Dr. Ha came in. Dr. Ha spent a good amount of time with me asking questions about my family background, etc. She truly impressed me with her professionalism and thoroughness. She is great! read more

I was misled by this doctor and her staff to believe that my courtesy follow-up visit would be free. My body reacted badly to a shot that the doctor gave me. I called the office and spoke to Dina. She said it was normal and that I'll be fine even though it was swollen for two weeks. A month past and the swelling was still there so I called again. Dina stated that maybe it wasn't a normal after all and that I should come in for a courtesy check. I asked her if there would be a fee involved. She assured me that it would be free since they just want a quick look at it. I came in the office and met with Terrisa. She took a look at my arm and stated that this was not normal at all. After five minutes talking to her, she concluded that there isn't anything she can do about it and that I should just wait it out. I thanked her and left. Three months later, I received a bill for $110. I called to ask what the charge was for and Dina responded that it was for the shot. I told her that it cannot be true since my insurance covers it. She told me I was wrong and that it does cost money. After realizing that it might not be for the shot, I called again and asked Dina if it was for the 5 minute visit I had after my shot. She said...ooh yeah, maybe that's it. That already proved to me that Dina is an irresponsible employee who is quick to make statements she is not sure about. I asked her why I was charged for it if I was told originally by HER that it was complimentary. She denied ever saying that. When I asked if I could talk to the doctor, I was told the doctor was busy but will call me. A few days later and no call from the doctor, I called again to ask to speak to her. Another staff member picked up and said she'll let the doctor know that I would like to talk to her. Unfortunately, this went on for a while and no response from the doctor. From my previous experiences with the doctor, I wouldn't be surprised if the staff member did tell her about the issue and she just did not care to address it. I ended up speaking with my insurance company and they stated that I cannot drop the charges without the doctor's consent. Since I couldn't even get in contact with her, I finally gave up and paid the bill. It saddens me to know that my doctor cares more about making money than her own patients. For a five minute visit in which there were no results, she could have dropped the hefty charge. Please reconsider visiting this doctor. If you look closely at the 5 star reviews and the reviewer's accounts, you'll see that most are fake accounts. read more

Terrisa Ha is hands down the best doctor I've ever gone to. It's a family owned practice, with only one doctor there. The office caters to English, Korean, and Spanish speakers. The staff is extremely friendly - one of the nurses (Jasmine) is an old woman that is really sweet. I've been going to her before she had her own practice. Now that she runs her own operations, everything has become much more efficient. She also has brothers and sisters that have specialized in other forms of medicine, meaning the referrals are given highest priority by them. If you're trying to do a walk-in, I would suggest coming at 8 AM on Saturdays. She always holds walk-in hours from 8-10:30 AM on Saturday. Being the first one in can do wonders in wait time...you could be out by 8:15! read more

Best family practitioner in the area. After initial visit in 2008 we switched the whole family, kids and all to her. Has a feel of small town doctor's office who knows you for years, but they are on top of the latest procedures and medications like super modern facilities. Dr. Ha has excellent people skills and is very good with my children. The front desk staff can be a little nippy, but as a busy mom I wait to see the doctor until I am bleeding from my ears and want to bite everybody, so they are prolly just responding to my crabby attitude. Their hours are very accommodating and we really appreciate the Saturday option. (have you noticed that kids always get sick on Friday night?) I was referred to Dr. Ha by an old neighbor who had only great things to say about her. My visit with her was underwhelming but not out of the ordinary. It was for routine needs, and I wasn't upset with the visit. Dr. Ha just came in, did her thing, and left. No real patient-physician interaction. If anything, it was a lacklustered performance. I would have probably kept going to Dr. Ha if that was the end of my experience, but I had some altercations with the front desk receptionist a little after my visit. I feel like she told me the things that I wanted to hear over the phone, but it wasn't reflected during the follow-up. As a person that works in healthcare, I can tell you that this office is a business first and a patient care just kind of falls in the back burner. This clinic is very active on Yelp. I was recommended to see DR Ha, by a friend, when I needed to change my PCP. I knew from the yelp reviews that they would ask to see my insurance card, before scheduling my first appt. and I was prepared for that. So far I have visited 3 times this year, and each time they were able to find me a good appointment time. The person who answers the phone is always friendly and helpful with scheduling. I was seen by NP, Thuy (pronounced Twee) this past weekend. I was so relieved to find a provider that even sees patients on Saturday, as most don't. The entire process from check in to visit to follow up care was seamless. I checked in, filled out the usual paperwork, and was seen by NP, Thuy all in a prompt and timely manner. Her bedside manner was very warm and inviting, she doesn't give off the intimidating and sometimes rushed feel that I've gotten from physicians in the past. She did a complete physical, referred me to have some tests done and assured me that she'd follow up with the results. It's very convenient that there is a lab downstairs that stays open on Saturdays. The wait is a bit long but the entire lab is handled by one gal only, so i couldn't complain. Following the blood work, Thuy called me promptly with the results and gave me some recommendations. Overall, I'm very happy with the care received so far. However, I was a bit shocked and disappointed that Dr. Ha's office has not transitioned to electronic medical records yet. Working in the healthcare industry myself, I'm a big proponent of EMR and I was taken back that a busy office such as this one is still using paper charts. read more

Dr Ha and her office staff are the best. Contrary to what I read on these reviews my entire family get the attention they need. Both Thuy and Dr. Ha spend time with each one of us to see what is going on. I have been to a lot of doctors and most just treat the symptoms and does not try to understand your entire condition. In my experience, she provides perfect patient care while treating you with dignity and respect. Her office staff are also always helpful and will accomodate you when you are really ill. This review is for their customer service. It's horrible to say you need up to 2 days to verify someone's insurance when it's a phone call away especially when you are sick. Despite my coworkers recommendation, customer service was blunt and the receptionist was not friendly or accommodating at all. Purely they do not care for accepting new patients. don't trust the yelp rating. went in for a physical & blood work Jan 2015. Very competitive pricing, but if your looking for just blood work, go to quest, they're a legit 3* and super cheap, she's a legit 1*, didn't even notice the 1 star reviews before i saw her... initial meeting went well. went over my health concerns & she answered some of my questions. that's as far as it went. We just spoke about it, she didn't do a physical... which is very odd???? OK... just prescribes me antibiotics for 1 of the many symptoms i was speaking of... a week later, i get the lab results in in 2 line, don't believe me? I was a passenger in a recent car accident and injured my neck and back. I had Kaiser for years but when I changed jobs, I got new insurance and needed a new doctor. Thankfully I had heard of Dr. Ha and her office by reputation, and I am so glad that I made an appointment to see her. Her office is pretty busy, but I have to say her staff is super efficient. Everyone was so friendly and they got me situated extremely fast. I think there were 4-5 other patients already waiting by the time I checked in, but I was in an exam room with Dr. Ha within 15-20 minutes! Shortest wait time ever! The best part of the visit didn't happen until a couple of days ago. I got a letter in the mail from Dr. Ha which I expected to be a bill. Instead, it turns out I was her 6000th patient and won a free gift card to Target! Needless to say, this was by far one of the best doctor visits I have ever had. My neck is feeling much better, and I am so thankful to have found a great primary doctor I can see for all my medical needs. Thank you to Dina, Diana, Jasmine, Thuy, and Dr. Ha! We saw the nurse practitioner Thuy (pronounced Twee i believe) she was amazing! Very proffesional, informative, friendly and makes u feel at ease. This is my second visit for routine yearly exams, last year i met Dr. Ha and tjis year with Thuy but i was very confortable during our visit. Maybe because I am a male patient, terrisa s ha might have treated me differently than her female patient. My annual physical check up last less than 5 minutes. She asked a few questions , took a few notes and said wait here a nurse will be in to give you blood draw paperwork. My first visit with her, I was hoping she'd given me the opportunity to share with her my health and concerns...She rushed through the questions and quickly left the room. I had a family doctor for more than 20 years. She moved out of state and I had to find another office to go. I was worried to finding a good doctor like my previous one so Yelp would be a place to find good caring and loving doctor. This place had 4.5 stars so it seems like a great place to go for the next 20 or 50 years. What a disappointment. When called to schedule to see her, the front desk kept pushing to see a registered nurse (thui pham). I kept asking to see the doctor but the receptionist kept saying the RN was as qualified as the doctor and the doctor was booked for the next 4 months. I believe the nurse was good but if you charge me doctor's rate you cant schedule me with a nurse! Thats is unethical. Anyone comes to this place especially male Asian patient should verify what kind of check up she'd perform and should refuse to accept them putting you to see (thui pham) as you might be at risk of her abilities to discover other issues..... This review is purely as a new customer. I had my insurance changed and was looking for a good doctor to switch to. Looking at my location and availability, I fell upon Dr. Terrisa's number. Unfortunately, I know the reviews are based upon how great the doctor is, but I was never able to meet her due to their horrible customer service or lack of. Good luck to any new patients trying to get an appointment. According to the receptionist, "they are a very small office of only 4 people and 1 person checking insurance cards." The first step is sending your insurance card to them via text and waiting two business days to confirm back. Waited over a week and I decided to text back. Got a response of "Olease call the office. Dr. Terrisa Ha's Office." Yes, that is a typo error they made in our text. Decided to call them because they never got back to me in 2 days. I stated my name and explained I'm waiting for my insurance card confirmation and then put me on hold and waited 10 mins and came back to me asking "I'm sorry, what was your name again?" What!? They now switch their words saying "due to having 50 new patient requests daily, they are backed up and can take 1-2 weeks longer to just verify my card." No, thank you! At this point, I'm done. I never heard of an office to take 3 weeks to check for insurance cards and let alone probably take another few more weeks to book a first appointment. I don't think I would have been as upset if from the beginning they didn't guarantee getting my insurance confirmed in 2 days and a possible first appointment soon after. If you're, backed up then please let new patients know it'll take 2-3 weeks and not 2 days for a confirmation. Hope they hire more staff or figure something out, but they are losing valuable new customers due to this and hope it'll help out new patients. read more

I have seen Dr. Ha a couple times now and always appreciate the time she spends with me. I don't have that feeling of her rushing out and leaving questions unanswered. She is thorough and caring. I called one time to ask the nurse/medical assistant a question and Dr. Ha surprisingly took the call and helped me herself! Dr. Ha has been my family doctor for 15 years. She is truly amazing. She takes care of all ages, from babies to my 95 year old father. Her office is very friendly and will accommodate walk ins. Dr. Ha always amazes me with knowing so much and being able to diagnose things that I thought would require a specialist. She spends time with me at each visit and treats me with respect and kindness. I just can't say enough about her and her practice. She really cares about her patients. You just don't find physicians like her everyday. If you are looking for a new doctor for you and your family you will not be disappointed with Dr. Ha. She even gets along with teenagers and will help you when difficult challenges arise. I don't know if my Dad is her oldest patient but she is helping him make it to a healthy 100! read more

After that, I requested my appointments with Dr. Ha, as did more than half of the patients who came into that office. She is the most conscientious physician I have met, who is absolutely well read and knowledgeable about all of the latest and most effective treatments. She listens, she is kind and she never rushes you out of your appointment. Her staff is wonderful and very cheery, too. I've known Nurse Jasmine since 1997, and she always has pleasant words for you and exudes optimism. Dr. Ha and her entire staff treat you with the outmost discretion and respect. Facility is clean and parking was ample 3. Front desk staff is friendly and nurse was very friendly 4. Wait was short. I was seen right away and on time 5. Doctor came in and visited with me for about 30 min- Dr. Ha is very friendly and addressed my concerns. She went over my medical history and medications and spent good amount discussing my questions. 6. Total plus that she can do everything from gyno visit to physical. Its so much easier when a single doctor can take care of all your health needs 7. Lab for blood work is in the same bldg- I was in and out in 5 min. Follow up- 4 days later. I received a call from Dr. Ha this morning. I wanted to wait on my posting until follow up call was received as promised. She was polite, went over my blood work result and suggested when to come back. Overall experience-- excellent! She's very nice, staff is nice, facility is clean in a good area. Follow up was on time as promised and I can always get a hold of front desk if needed. Dr. also mentioned that we can walk in for emergencies and will see patients on Sat. This is a huge plus when you're like us with young kids. Initial visit was to test the water but our family will be using Dr. Ha as our primary doctor for our 2 kids and my husband.
