Whenever I've gone into this location, the staff has always been super sweet and they're good and quick at what they do.

As a Multiple Sclerosis patient I unfortunately take several medications, which require routine blood work to monitor various organs' functioning. Hence, I've become quite familiar with LabCorp. (both offices at this address). Fast and friendly, with or without an appointment. Each staff person with whom I've encountered has always been friendly, and the utmost in professionalism. Plus, the phlebotomists who've drawn my blood have always been top notch. In fact, the most recent guy (of course, I don't know his name) not only was friendly and courteous, my experience was almost pain free, not to mention that I had minimal bruising afterwards (one of my firsts). While having blood drawn is not something I consider fun, I've always been pleased with my experiences here. Additionally, their Patient Portal allows me to see my test results prior to doctor follow-up. I can't speak for other LabCorp. locations, but this one (on Termino Ave. in Long Beach, CA) is definitely top notch in my book. read more

There's a warm approach with the Front desk peeps. No intimidating vibes. That's a pro for me. Only con is, there are not enough chairs inside to accommodate every patient, which is fine for me. I get my lab results online in 2 days. That's another pro! Will definitely pay this clinic a visit again (if ever i need to). read more

Does not open at 7! Hours have changed and the open at 8 Monday-Friday. A big inconvenience. All maps and apps still say 7am.

The suite 102 does not open on time! We have been waiting outside for about 30 mins and they state that they open at 7am and its 730am. Clients are here on time waiting outside to get things completed but not the staff! What kind of place is this? The management needs to look into this and fix it! Most of the time when my dad has a doctors appointment, the doctor requests a few blood tests. I will bring him here because it's convenient, near his doctors office, etc. The woman who is there most of the time is very pleasant, friendly, nice to chat with and enjoys hearing my dads corny jokes. I recently discovered Labcorp has unfortunately changed this locations hours and now closes at 4 PM! What the hell? Came here to do the urine drug test for my new job. Set my appointment day online, the confirmation says to call and confirm this with the location, don't bother - all you get is a recording. I came in here 5 minutes before their lunch time, the phone recording and confirmation slip do not say anything about lunch hours. Waited around for 1 hour (they were late coming back from lunch about 15 minutes too) so I waited 1 hour and 15. I didn't mind this at all because I love spending my days off hanging outside a dilapidated medical office with tweakers, wal-mart type, and the elderly. Employees here were rude, worse then the DMV. Treated me like I was a criminal, which again is another thing I love. The outhouse sized bathroom was lovely, the urine in the toilet and the sink really added to the ambiance, it felt just like home on Christmas Eve. The staff also advised me not to wash my hands until after I return the sample to them, again this wasn't a big deal because who washes their hands after going to the bathroom? This is my de facto lab for all blood work simply because it's close and convenient. I've been going here for as long as I can remember. This is my second time comming to this location. And i think it was also a tuesday morning that i came in for labs. There was no wait. The girls were nice, spoke spanish and one gal that speaks talaog. The place is clean but cold. Bring a sweater. And they have sparkling water available for patients in the waiting area. Its relaxing cause its quiet, no music, no kids running around and playing. I like this place too cause they open at 7am. So that way i can go back and sleep. Had my blood work done here. This was my first visit. The place was clean, I walked in about 9:45 am on a Thursday morning, the lady at the counter informed me it was a 45-60 minute wait but that I could call or go online and schedule an appointment. That's exactly what I did. I walked out and scheduled an 8:15 am apt for the very next day. Quick and easy process, did it on my iPhone. Blood testing place. I come here to get my blood drawn when my doc requests it (usually, annually or when I am pregnant). It's a small place - meaning you get in and out quicker than other places - they mostly seem to do drug testing... I think there has only been one time that I have been there and everyone else there was NOT being randomly drug tested or drug tested to get a job... lol The staff can be friendly or can be bitch-y depending on the day and time. Better than the previous place that I went to (I have never had bruising on my arm from incompetent lab techs), but about average as far as these types of places go. read more

I get a lot of blood drawn for rheumatological needs and I tend to make an appointment wherever will be most convenient. For the most part my experience with labs has been routine and while getting blood drawn is not my favorite thing, it always is fairly quick and less painful then I build up in my mind. The lady who drew my blood here was awful. I hate the term "it was a nightmare," but it was. Apparently she used too big of a needle - but all I know is that it hurt and when I finally looked over to see what she was doing there was blood dripping everywhere - she then proceeded to try and clean up - she still had more vials to fill - once she had wiped up the floor - I had to ask her to change her gloves. I signed in at 0815 and there was a line out the door. They only had 2 techs working at the time. I was told it would be over an hour wait. The office looked out of date with scuff marks on the walls, the floors look like it hadn't seen any serious cleaning in years. Basically, it looked very dilapidated. The only plus was the person behind the desk. She was accommodating and called the Seal Beach location for me. So I went there and that place awesome. read more

This is a walk in/no appointment lab testing facility. It is the only Lab Corp in 10 miles of my house that allows walk ins on a Saturday. Even though the place was packed and many people were standing, due to lack of chairs, the staff was calm and professional. The people waiting were calm and polite because of the tone set by the staff. The phlebotomist, Patricia, was friendly, calming and a true professional. She has been drawing blood for 15 years. She put me at ease. What an asset to that location. All the staff were wonderful. In and out in 30 minutes. read more

Was referred to this LabCorp location by my doctor/insurance for blood tests. Checked and saw that I could schedule an appointment directly on their website. I scheduled for the next morning. It only took a couple of minutes. I printed out the confirmation, and took it to the location. I arrived about 15 minutes early because I wasn't sure about parking, but there was enough parking spaces along the back of the building. When I went in the waiting room it was pretty full and I thought "Oh no. I'm glad I brought a book". I scanned in my appt. confirmation and sat down to read. I literally hadn't sat more than 5 minutes when I was called for my tests. The tech was good and 5 or so painless minutes later, I was done! In and out in about 10 minutes! The front desk person needs to be able to speak clear English. I have hearing issues and with the masks it makes it impossible to understand what she was saying. She got frustrated and raised her voice at me. Her accent was extremely thick and I was unable to communicate with her. I just walked out. I don't have any problems getting the actual work done because the three times I've been here, the clinical staff have been friendly and have taken my blood painlessly. Miss Tammy( older African American lady with short blondish/red hair) has been gossiping on the phone for about 15 minutes now and hasn't greeted any patients walking up to the desk. Instead, she just points to the sign in sheet without stopping from talking to her friend on the phone. The nice Asian lady had to ask another worker to find the other cordless phone because she had to call the doctor's office for a patient getting work done while "Tammy" was on the phone gossiping with her friend. I have a feeling she knows it's a known problem but is afraid to ask for the phone "Tammy" is using in order not to ruffle her feathers. Wow. Just wow. read more

This place baffles my mind. I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes to get lab work. We are going on 2 hours and still waiting. I am not an incredibly patient person but I do have awareness that the individuals working don't come to my place of employment and tell me how to be more efficient. They've actually moved to #102 in the building. Much bigger space and room for more staff. Parking lot has tiny spots and the building is a little hard to find but the most important thing is they KNOW how to find a vein. I always end up going to a Labcorp for my bloodwork because regular nurses at the doctor's office can never find one on me. Make an appt ahead of time, they see you before walk ins. I came in with an appt and I was in and out before both the other people waiting. The lady who stuck me checked both arms thoroughly after I told her I had small veins so she would only have to stick me once. That's was cool. And she found a good vein the first try. They know their stuff. Minus one start because the parking lot spaces are too tight and they don't mention their lunch hour is 12:30-1:30 when you make an appt. Luckily mine was at 2:15. read more

I went into this LabCorp for a simple routine blood test. Although there wasn't a long wait for the procedure (I highly recommend making an appointment first at ANY LabCorp) the "nurse" was not friendly and seem like she was in a hurry. I have pretty large vains in my arms that are always easy to find. This person stuck the needle ACROSS my vain so hard it made me curse. She asked if she wanted me to take it out. I told her just hurry and finish as the pain and burning increased. After it was over I promised to never visit the facility again. The ed scar is the patch of the needle. I would give this place a minus O-star if I could!! If you value your privacy, stay AWAY from this place. I had my labs done 3 weeks ago at this awful place, the girls at the front desk made a bet with each other as to how one of my most private lab was supposed to be done. One said once, the other said once a month, and another said maybe every 6 months. They announced this out loud with one another, when I heard my name mentioned, I got up from my seat and told them that they are violating my privacy and they are being unprofessional!! The only saving grace was that I was the only one in waiting room. They were stunned to hear what I told them. The lab test order was so clear as one time. Anyone with a few brain cells could have figured that out. I emailed their privacy officer to let them know, I was told that my complaint will be forwarded to the local office. WTF!!! What kind of facility are they operating? They need to fire all the girls at the front desk and hire someone with living brain cells!! read more

I've been to this location multiple times whether for primary physician lab orders or new employment drug screening. The girls at the front desk are always nice and usually the specimen collection techs are as well but today, the lady with the accent was the rudest person I've ever met. She was very snappy and just flat out RUDE. She treated me like I was a new intake at a prison. I know because I worked there. As an RN that works bedside and previous waiter, retail and bank manager, I know about customer service and this lady hade NONE. So much I felt compelled to write this review, which I usually don't take the time to do but she was just that awful. I think maybe she needs some time off or a career change. VERY unpleasant. I literally only had maybe a 5 minute interaction with her for drug screening for a new job but again, that's how bad it was. read more

First time with LabCorp and it was not good. I went online, made my appointment and got a confirmation number. The waiting room is super tiny and was filled to the brim with people (10 I counted), and one woman was even sitting on a table because there were not enough chairs. I went in on time, signed in and then was told minutes later that I had no appointment. I told the woman at the desk I had a confirmation number, but she said the appointment must have not gone through because she had no record of it. She gave me a blank stare. One star is one star too many but can't physically give zero so here goes. I went to get blood work done for a physical and have managed to misplace my insurance card. I do however have all the info from the card so they can still charge my insurance but the day I went in for my labwork...mind you it was a 12 hour fast which by the time Igot to my appointment was more like a 16 hour fast and I was STARVING I also took time off work to go to my appointment. The girl at the front desk was UNWILLING to see me for my appointment because of my lost card. I'm upset and ordered a new card, which will take 30 days at the least to get mailed out and in the meantime I still need to get my labwork done. This office sucks. Steer clear. Make an appointment elsewhere. My doctor took me without my card. I still have the info and my photo i.d. Its not like I was going in without any info whatsoever to identify myself. They were rude and unwilling to do their job. My insurance said they could have easily looked me up in their system and accepted me for my appt. read more

This place was the most racist place that I have been to. The woman working at the lab counter "Brenda" had me waiting for an hour before I finally went up to the counter and asked why I had no been seen yet. She laughed and said oh we have no order for you. So you made me wait for an hour to do nothing!!!! I had to go upstairs to my doctors office and they gave me the blood work paperwork. I went back down to the lab and gave it to "Brenda". She said you'll have to wait again. I waited another 1/2 hour and still nothing. I went and asked why I had not been seen yet. She said something is wrong with the address on the doctors paperwork and that I would not been seen today. She helped every other person of color but when it came to me she was nasty and very unprofessional. If you are a white person you will probably not want to go there. Very very unfair! read more

A friend went for lab work recently and had very clear orders of what needed to be done. His PA and her assistant called LabCorp twice before the visit to make sure they had the correct orders. In spite of this the technician only drew one vial, completely forgotting the CBC. His expensive doctor visit was a waste because his PA didn't have the correct information to monitor his condition. What a waste of time and money. His insurance company requires using them. I think they should monitor their work. They are paying for substandard performance. read more
