I've always gone to this LabCorp location and despite always being short staffed and having wait times, I've continued going. But after my experience yesterday, I will be a Quest customer! One lady working. Had 8am apt. At 8:45, another lady was banging on the buildings glass window to get someone inside to open the door (required key pass for employees or someone inside to open). She rushes in, like the most 'important person' within in the entire LabCorp business, and tells the guy who opened the door to come on back to have his bloodwork done by her first. She had no idea, he was the last guy to walk into the packed waiting room. Yes, I lost it and confronted her about her unprofessional behavior. Of course, she didn't acknowledge she circumvented their internal appointment process and served the last person, first. She just diverted the convo to another topic, in a raised voice, like the guilty tend to do! Employees behaving like this should be fired! Businesses shouldn't be held hostage by labor shortages to have to put up with individuals who think they are more important than the business's who write their checks. Yes, I'm an HR person and the arrogance, unprofessional behavior and non-customer centric awareness this person exhibited make minimum wage too high a price to pay her. Need to update their systems - my doctor placed an order here and for some reason their system could not read the orders and they don't have a printer in the building to be able print out the paper copy I already had available on my phone. I have to make the hour drive back and come back another day to just get really important labs done. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but this location was terrible because they were short staffed. Just to preface the one person working here was super nice and friendly and I feel bad for them because they had to deal with the chaos This location got one star from me because they were short staffed and had a super long wait. This place is a joke. We waited over a hour and I waited WITH my daughter. Now they won't let me go back with her. She passes out sometimes. I have had ppl go back with me here. Considering all the extra precautions and restrictions associated with COVID-19, I just couldn't rate this location less than 4 stars. I had made an appointment but the waiting room was full when I arrived. After a bit I noticed there was only one technician working--and he was running the office by himself. No help, no other techs. I wish I had gotten his name because he was professional, efficient, and courteous. I can't imagine the pressure he was under to serve so many patients. But he handled it with more grace than I could have done. I've seen the many negative reviews, and I understand the inconvenience of waiting. But while the lab was sorely short-staffed, I still didn't wait too long. When he called me to the back for the procedure, I was in and out in no time. And he didn't leave a bruise :) I'm sorry this branch of LabCorp isn't staffed as it should be, but my review is mostly based on the superb work of that one tech. From check-in to completion, I was there for less than 45 minutes. Not bad, all things considered! The one thing that annoyed me was the girl in the waiting room talking nonstop on her cell--not LabCorp's fault, but it would be nice to require clients/patients to take their calls outside the waiting room. read more

Went in today for blood work i did not had an appointment so after i register i waited about 15 to  20  minutes . Was surprised that is only one person working , Nick has to check in patients , draw blood/labs answers the phone , cleans room after each patient and has to process the labs . As a health care worker myself i can't imagine how he feels at the end of his shift . 5 STARS for all you do Nick . read more

My husband and I both had a beautiful experience here. He had to go there several times after quadruple bypass and I had to go there today before sleeve surgery. I agree they are a bit short staffed but they are professional, friendly, kind, accommodating, all the good stuff! I can't say one bad thing about this place. I don't know why this place has such negative reviews, except to say that maybe the people who leave the reviews are negative in general. I believe if you go into a situation in a bad mood, the people there will respond in kind. But if you're friendly and understanding, they will be too. My lab tech was very nice and we laughed quite a bit. I was in and out in no time, maybe less than half an hour, and this was immediately after lunch. Maybe it's because I was prepared, I had my insurance and my drivers license ready, and I had answers to questions that they asked me? All in all it was a good experience. read more

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have a lot to say. I'm going to start off by saying that this Dr. Kevin Marks is a joke. Very unprofessional and it was a waisted of my time. First my appointment was at 12:30 I arrived at 12:33 I was called back at 12:40 and was seen right away by the nice make nurse. Who did the whole deal.. you know weighing you Walking you to the room doing the whole asking questions thing and putting everything in the computer for the doctor. Now the nurse has left and I'm sitting in the room with my daughter who has a 2 o'clock appointment. I wasn't worried until aboit 1:20 the doctor stuck his head in and said "Oops sorry wrong room." I was like what... So I stepped out and asked the nurse when was the doctor coming they replied.." That was Dr. Marks he's still with another patient." I was like "What!" I politely walked back in the room and shut the door when the nurse told me he'd be in the room in about 5 min.. 5 minutes turned into 10 then I looked at my fitbit and saw the time it was 2 o'clock. I told them I had to leave my daughter had an appointment at 2pm and luckily it was around the corner. The nurses apologized and didn't really seem to have a reason as to why the doctor hadn't seen me. They even agreed that it was unprofessional and I'd been waiting their too long and hadn't been seen by the doctor. Would I go here again? HELL NO!! Would I refer this doctor? OHH.. HELL NO!! When you say that your hours are from 7;30 to noon and closed from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch, why were your doors locked at 11:30 when I came to drop off paperwork? The techs were very friendly. It's not a busy location, so I was seen quickly. I would recommend this location for any blood work needed.

Made an 11am appointment and showed up 5 minutes early only to be told that basically the appointment was pointless as they take walk ins before appointments if they get there first. So, what is the point of an appointment? It is now 1130 and I have been yet to be seen. They stated they were understaffed and that was the delay, but it seems to me, the major delay is not taking people with appointments first. Very unprofessional, and upsetting. Labcop should just do away with appointments if they don't mean anything. read more

Walked in for blood work. Told the guy taking my blood that people have a hard time taking my blood. He says "is it your veins or the phlebotomist". I said my veins. He acted real cocky like he was SOOOO much better then others who took my blood. Stuck the needle in, could only get 1 vial. He had to move onto the other arm. I took my 9 year old daughter to have blood drawn for the first time in her life. The man who drew her blood never said hello, didn't say his name and never told my daughter what he was going to do. He just took her arm and stuck the needle in her arm. She was very scared and needed some reassurance which he did not provide. He was very unprofessional and was talking to his co-workers the entire time. I will never go back to this place. I even sent a note to LabCorp with the employees name and date of service but never got any reply from them. read more

I had a hard time even giving 1 star today. When I arrived there was no one in the office waiting before me. I was working on checking in on the kiosk while a staff member sat 10 feet away from me but unhelpful. When I told her I made a mistake she said "YOU HAVE TO CHECK IN!!". I said "I did, I just made a mistake but you can figure it out right?". She proceeded to roll her eyes at me and take my credit card. I got called back quickly because no one else was waiting. I told the blood draw guy that "I have issues with needles and hope I don't fall out of the chair". He proceeded to ignore me so I said "it's anxiety, I'm guessing there is no place for me to lay down?". That's when he actually spoke to me and only said "no". I then said, "you guys are grumpy here". This guy proceeded to berate me by saying and I quote "We are human, do you not think there may be things going through my mind?". I then said, "Are you watching news?". His phone was streaming something from the desk near his PC. He said "It's a talk show". I seriously just gave up at that point and talked very little while I concentrated on not passing out. I have a condition that causes me to hyperventilate when I have needles and have had it since I was a child. I guess these folks don't care about people in general. read more

I rarely write reviews. When I arrived it was some time after lunch and I noticed there was only one tech. That worried me as I normally see three or four plus techs at the location I usually go to and they take forever. However, this guy was extremely friendly and professional. If I was working at a location by myself with the patient load I saw I would have been quite frustrated but he was quite calm and handled the situation very well. He found my vein immediately which very rarely happens and I didn't bruise which never happens! I took my son to him a week or so later and he was just as good, kept him occupied with silly conversations and my son didn't even notice what had happened until he was almost done. I believe the techs name was Christopher or Christian...He was very good and did a great job despite being there on his own. I will return. read more
