She eventually checked my lungs, ears, and throat and prescribed some antibiotics for my cough and congestion. If you're looking for a new PCP, Dr. Misbah Kalair is a great option; I definitely recommend her. I was able to easily make an appointment within the next day.

At other offices I've used, test results were communicated by phone or MyChart without requiring another paid visit. Here, the front desk told me I had to come back in for my results, even though the doctor had previously told me I wouldn't need another visit. I had to persist and ask them to check with her before she ultimately sent my results through MyChart. I've had a similar experience with prescriptions. My previous provider gave me a three-month supply with routine refills. Here, they prefer that I come in for another visit when I need a prescription. When I requested a one-month refill, I received only a one-day courtesy supply. The front desk has also been unhelpful. I previously had to call back and forth multiple times just to verify my insurance. I also developed the large bruises pictured after having my blood drawn here. I like Dr. Misbah Kalair and appreciate that she accommodated me, which is why this is disappointing. Unfortunately, the office policies and service make me unlikely to return.

After trying to reach my doctors in Austin immediately after the diagnosis, I couldn't get a hold of my referred to thoracic Surgeon, who, as it turns out, it was in the middle of switching practices. They did finally get a hold of me a couple weeks later, but by that time I had been to MD Anderson and was feeling very confident that was the right move as even my oncologist said Austin medical system has not kept up with the growth! I was very discouraged, but then enter MD Anderson and next thing I know they have appointments set up for me all day long on Friday to meet my new Thoracic Surgeon and oncologist and I felt so much better and relieved. they had set up several tests that day as well so that my traveling back-and-forth between Houston and Austin is minimal. I just had my first chemo session and I'm back home in Austin and I'm very grateful to MD Anderson as I've had nothing but a marvelous experience so far ! They take care of you. They set everything up and you can stay at their on site hotel, The Rotary House, which they make affordable if you're from out of town. I am very pleased and can't say enough good things about MD Anderson!

However, I had a pretty deep cut in my ankle today and my friends thought it would be a good idea to get it looked at. I didn't have to wait very long, paid an initial $50 fee, and then shortly after, the doc came to check out my ankle. He was very helpful and stitched up my ankle in no time! He gave me some useful advice on how to take care of my ankle before sending me on my way. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my bill came out to $250. My ER bill for just receiving bandages was over 5x that amount with insurance (and over 10x before insurance)!! Glad I went to this place although I hope I don't need to any time soon. =) Oh yeah, also, thanks to Yelp for helping me find this place!

Everyone works so well together, they are polite and friendly to one another and have a wonderful respectful tone that feel of equality. I really appreciated everyone's kindness, I am an ambulatory wheelchair user and I came on my own without feeling overwhelmed. From beginning to end I had a wonderful experience, I also would like to thank Dr Gambrill for referring me for an oral exam and cleaning. Dr Gambrill is my PCP at coporate Dr and I absolutely appreciate everything she has done for me from the first day we met. Thank you everyone for always being so kind, professional and nurturing bedside manner. The quality of care you all provide always gracefully goes above and beyond. You all explain protocol clearly, where I don't ever have questions and feel confident in maintaining my personal care at home living independently. Again I thank you all for the many years of service, along with a sense of purpose and duty in practicing exceptional medicine. In all 31 years, hope clinic was the first practice to never give up on me and helped me discover my rare brain condition, "Chiari malformation," which I was born with. Vanessa at the front desk in the dentist office was very professional and helpful as she helped my to make my next appointment and one for my mom. I saw Dr. Nguyen, he was very professional and make some recommendation on how to floss my teeth better and more. I know HOPE Clinic is catered towards low income households, but you want great service for a fraction of the cost, this place will get your money with.

Dr. Baird has been the only gynecologist I've seen my whole life, I believe I started seeing her at…read more21 years old. In 2018 she mentioned that she felt a fibroid during my annual well women's exam. She said they were common and since I wasn't having any issues, it was nothing to worry about. Well, over the years my stomach got increasingly larger to the point I was concerned something was wrong. In 2023 I asked for an ultrasound and while getting my ultrasound I asked the tech if she saw any fibroids. She looked at me with shock and said "is this your first ultrasound. I got the results I had 6 fibroids and several of them were large. I was confused by the results, and it wasn't even sure what fibroids were exactly. Now fast forward 2025 and I'm trying to get them removed, Dr. Baird said the surgery was "out of her wheelhouse" and every doctor I've met with is recommending a hysterectomy. I haven't even had a child yet and this is heartbreaking for me. Please don't let her downplay your fibroids. Ask for an ultrasound every year and keep track of the size. Fibroids 5cm and up is getting large and may need removal. I wish she would have monitored me more. There is no way she was palpating my abdomen all those years and did feel how large the fibroids were getting.

I don't think we have ever been seen on time for any of the doctor appointments that we have made but knowing that going into the situation is why I give 5 stars. She truly cares about her patients and their babies and it shows! If you are thinking about which doctor to see at TWH, I highly recommend her and her staff. I will update my review after my wife has her first child in the next week or so. However, if the process is a lot like the previous, we will be ready for a whole lot of waiting and expectations exceeded as we welcome our little girl to the world

She prescribed medications recklessly, put me on steroids which made my injury 50 times worse than when first came in and she also put me on a life-time prescription of inflammatory medications without even examining me. She would automatically send me to physical therapy, x-ray, again, without even taking a look at my injury. Dr. Gwozdz and the other office staffs including the front desk lady are all awesome but they need to get rid of that NP, Melissa Strickland
