It's packed putting everyone at risk of Covid There is no policy limiting number of people in the room whatsoever - no 6ft distancing - and this lab is in Healthcare! Appts are for a reason! BTW I Sat outside in the hall since the girls said they would get me - they just sat at the front desk and screamed my name? Why do all lab corp seem so hectic just like a DMV? I made an appointment at 1pm for urine drug screen for employment. I walked in around 9am to make sure my appointment went through the online system since I had a doctors appointment in the building that morning and I was told the drug test person would be off by 12:30pm. Then how were you going to do my drug test at 1pm? She told me she was planning on calling me later... ok... Then she asked me to just stay so she could do my test now since she would be leaving early. That's fine. After waiting for more than 1 hour and seeing multiple people being taken ahead of me, I decided to ask. Guess they forgot to take my insurance information and also was treating me as a walk in. If my appointment was going to get rescheduled, I felt I should have had it moved to a time and not treated in the walk in line. It's such a sh-- show here. Horrible place, so unprofessional. I took my 2 year old for a lab work and the technician pulled the needle TWICE by mistake while collecting the blood. She ended up poking my girl three time on both arms to get the blood samples. my daughter's blood was all over the chair. I am so upset and don't recommend this place for your kids. Today is my first time here and it was a bad experience for me. Im here@7:30am, fasting.total waiting time 45 min. The receptionist called 5 Patient ahead of me that checked inn after me. When i got roomed the first person, stabbed me twice both arms and keep asking same questions, seems confused. So obviously he doesn't know what he's doing. 2nd person take so long to find my vain. She took away my blood samples and paper works because I was trying to tell the mistakes made by her technician. The technician didn't check my name and asked me sign on the paper before she started to take my blood samples. The tech looked someone's lab order but me. So I end up with two shots to complete my order. I've been totally mistreated. read more

I just left there from getting my blood drawn and the guy that attempted to take my blood hit my nerve and I had shooting pain down to my wrist and burning. He had to use my other arm to get the blood but tried to tell me that he didn't hit the nerve and he didn't know why my arm was burning and why I had immediate pain. He then began to tell me he's been doing this for like 15 years or something however, it doesn't matter he definitely hit a nerve & My left arm is still hurting! looking at the previous reviews it appears there's been issues with how they draw the blood, I would recommend going elsewhere based on that alone read more

I called this Barranca location today (only took 7 calls to get someone on the line) I asked if they are taking walk-ins, the guy told me not today but that if I go to the Waterworks location he would be there shortly to assist me, so I said ok that I would. I got there maybe 5 minutes after the call, I've been sitting here at the Waterworks location for 30 mins & no one is here, there's a sign saying they're closed. I can understand that they're closed but why in the world would the employee tell me to go here & that they would be there to assist me as a walk in? What was the purpose? To go out of the way to mess with me? I would have made an appointment for a Labcorp closer to my home but unfortunately all week I've been checking for openings & all the locations say 0 availability online & when I tried calling they would say they can't make appointments over the phone, and that's after calling nearly 10 times in a row trying to get someone to answer the phone & not hang up, yes I've had someone answer 3 times & immediately hang up & the lady that told me they can't make appointments over the phone did so in a rude manner, I didn't realize I had offended her by calling a place of business, let alone warrant rude behavior for calling with a valid question. read more

I don't believe this place gets 1 star. The front desk women are so rude yes, all of them. The whole office is so unorganized. I got called back to get my blood drawn and the phlebotomist had the wrong paperwork and was confused who I was. Are you kidding me!! I am not sensitive to getting my blood drawn but this woman hurt me so bad, it's like she didn't know what she was doing. She did not greet me to say hello or how are you. When she was finished she didn't say a word. How rude can you be!?! There are signs stating they clean and sanitize after each patient. That is completely false. The arm of the chair was dirty. After I walked out, she called another patient back without sanitizing. This is crazy!! We are in a pandemic and sterilization is key right now especially in this environment. Someone should read these reviews. I'm seeing the same things happened to other people. Something should be done about the lazy people working there. My mom who is 90 walked in to get her blood work. She did not have an appt but needed to get in. We have an appt at another office on Monday which was the soonest anywhere and I made the appt a few weeks ago. Her dr appt is Tuesday and needed to get in sooner, so she tried this location. The 2 people were sitting around and would not take her. There was none in there waiting it was empty. They were rude she said, and told her to make an appt. How about taking her blood today instead of chit chatting with your coworkers. . Very unprofessional. Again She is 90 and needs to stay local . They told her to drive to Newport Beach or costa Mesa. Very Rude to a senior citizen that does not use the internet and I have to schedule her appointments. I wish I was there. Friggin horrible horrible horrible services. DO NOT COME HERE FOR PEDIATRIC!!! Go to Quest instead. What a mistake! A bunch of unprofessional lab tech works here who has no training whatsoever in pediatric. I would appreciate it if they were upfront in telling me they do not specialize in pediatric so I can go elsewhere. Instead my 10 Mos old baby was poked 3 times and each time the needle went in and out about 5-6 times. He has three holes in his arms and he is traumatized. I am traumatized that I had to witness in horror. I finally yelled to tell poking him and they tried to tell me that maybe he didn't have enough to drink. Don't fking mess with me, I nursed him and gave him two bottles before the appointment. Honestly, don't F with me. A total of 4 lab techs tried to draw blood...4!!! Summary: Unprofessional, poorly trained lab tech's who repeatedly cut my infant's foot for an unsuccessful blood test. Avoid for infant tests. Full story: I've never had a visit to a medical facility like the one I had to the Woodbridge LabCorp location. Went in for a jaundice blood test for my newborn. The lab tech wandered into the room... we weren't sure if she'd be doing the test or was just picking up supplies. She never introduced herself and started touching our baby's foot. After going in and out of the room a few times, she asked us what test we were having (how does a technician not know the test they're about to perform before seeing a patient??). I wasn't sure of the official medical name, so had to run out to the front desk to ask. She then makes a cut into my baby's foot and gets a few drops out. She mumbles 'not working...', then makes another cut. I'm very concerned at this point and ask the front desk if there are staff who are trained to test infants...this woman is apparently all they have. After 5 more mins of squeezing out a few drops of blood, and making a few more cuts as my baby screams, I ask how much she needs... apparently an entire tube. She says 'not working' again, and suggests we go to another LabCorp location. At the end, she asks my husband if she should bandage the baby's foot (what? you're the technician...your patient who's a little baby has a bleeding foot... a bandage is likely a good idea). So, we leave without the test being done and my baby's foot all cut up. Head straight for the pediatrician's office who sorts things out and admits that LabCorp doesn't have the best track record with infants. Never again. If we need an infant blood test, will be going to the hospital he was delivered at (well-trained staff) or the pediatrician. read more

From having an order with 4 items and they only do the first one, to having a second order done for the remaining items but AGAIN they only did one of the three tests. I now have to get pricked a third time during my work hours because of their nonchalant / non-caring attitude. Getting my lab work done here was quick, seamless, and with friendly staff. I used the check in feature to wait in my car, then got a text to go inside. Fariba was my phlebotomist and I wish I could have her take my blood every time!!! She was so quick that I didn't have a chance to be nervous and before I knew it, I was done! Building was very hard to find with GPS once Park I walked in to a full waiting room and no receptionist. My only option was a self check system. The system required my driver's license to be scanned and then a insurance card. in with my drivers license and it asked for my medical insurance card and no option to add any other summitry options. I got a list of some of the labs missing one very important lab I waited and finally spoke to someone that walked up to the front desk I let her know that not all lab tests were there. I also explained that I do have an additional insurance account she apologize for the missing lab work. I told her I would still be needing all of the lab work ordered I was told they would call my phone when they where ready for me on my cell phone I went outside I was told I would be called by my cell phone. She never called I waited then went to do some shopping no call. I don't understand what the hold up was. They do not do Covid testing and do not service anyone with Covid apparently and I was not having symptoms and I've been fully vaccinated I answered all the Covid questions correctly never was called to return for labs I was very dissatisfied with their non existent front office staff . But seriously the customer service and the disorganized way they schedule or call people in is exasperating to say the least. They have electronic check ins to help out but still to wait for more than two hours with a room not even filled with people? Really?? When last I checked with the person in front she Hd to triple check if I was checked in, and later on I realized she just had a hard time reading names? Took my 1 year old nephew to have his blood drawn for his routine lab work at this Labcorp location after his mom took him to another location and had such a traumatizing experience (e.g. multiple digs on both arms, didn't always have gloves on when they were trying to find the vein, etc.) she couldn't bear to try again. The Labcorp team at this location on Barranca were great, very receptive to our concerns and collaborative in their attempt to make this experience as painless as it could be for our baby boy. We hydrated him to the best of our abilities starting the day before his appointment and asked them if they had everything they needed for a blood draw on a baby (e.g. most importantly butterfly needle and a tech experienced in drawing blood from babies) and assured them we were more than happy to reschedule the appointment or go to another location if they did not have those things. They had the experienced personnel but had to check the back to make sure they had the butterfly needle. While they were checking, the front desk lady assured us she would include a note to my nephew's chart so the lab would know this was baby draw for our rescheduled appointment if need be. Fortunately they had the butterfly needles and quickly got us set up with 2 techs, one who held my nephew's arm while the other checked for his veins, which allowed me to hold my phone with his favorite show on in front of him to distract him. When the first tech could not find it, we let them know we were totally okay with rescheduling the appointment if a vein could not be found, rather than subject him to multiple failed jabs. They let us know they understood and the 2nd tech took a turn at looking for a good vein. When she could not find one, they called in a third tech named ARIN. Arin was thorough and creative in examining my nephew for a good vein. She kindly assured us she would only insert the needle once and we could try again another time if it didn't work. Arin is a rockstar at what she does and indeed got the juices running on her first try. My nephew cried and thrashed as expected, but Arin stayed collected and efficient, and truly the experience was as quick and painless as it could possibly be. So this review is in part sharing our experience but really a big thank you to the Labcorp team on Barranca and most especially ARIN, the MVP! read more

Personally a great experience for me. That's epic because I HATE needles and any type of blood testing. I was a walk in and the whole process was around 40 minutes. There was a woman up front that worked there that seemed a bit mean so I was hoping to not get her. In the end I got an older gentleman, I am sad I did not get his name. He was whimsical, friendly, professional and hilarious. He made what normally is a stressful experience turn into a pleasant funny one. I told him he was in the wrong line of work and missed his calling somewhere back there. You could truly see that he had a talent with people. The waiting room was crowded and numerous patients were not wearing masks. I am immunocompromised so I was not comfortable. None of the staff asked the unmasked patients to put on masks. There were two parents (mother masked, father unmasked) with a young child (the patient, who I did not expect to wear a mask). They were in the room next to mine with the phlebotomist. When I was leaving I asked the phlebotomist who had been with them why she didn't have the father wear a mask. Her reply: "We can't force people to wear masks." But she could have (and should have) asked the father to leave the facility. He had no right to put others at risk. And your staff did not have the right to allow him to put others at risk. It was completely insane. You don't have to force people to wear masks, but you don't have to serve them and allow them to stay in the facility if they are unmasked. A healthcare facility is the last place I should feel at risk in. DON'T ALLOW UNMAKSED PATIENTS IN THE FACILITY: INSIST THAT THEY LEAVE. IT IS NOT FAIR TO OTHER PATIENTS, MANY OF WHOM ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED. read more
