If your insurance allows you other options for lab work, go anywhere else! I've had to come here twice and it's one of the poorest run labs I've ever encountered. The waiting area is open to the check in desk allowing zero privacy or patient confidentiality. You know where every person is there for and they know what you're there for.
As if that's not bad enough, there's only one phlebotomist working both times I've gone and she is extremely rude and unprofessional. The first time I went there was with my teenage daughter who has needle anxiety. I let the lady know about it and expected her to be patient and to take a softer approach with my daughter. She's basically the nurse ratchet of phlebotomists! The second time, it was for myself to get blood drawn. Instead of calling to verify my insurance benefits, she demanded I hand her my credit card so they could put a hold for the full amount just in case. When I asked her for details and for a breakdown of the cost for each test, she ignored me and replied with "Do you have a credit card or not???". She was essentially bullying me into handing over my card and refusing to answer any of my questions. I was not about to deal with her nastiness anymore so I ultimately left and just headed over to Quest where it was a much better experience.
Like I said, if you have any other choices, pick anywhere else. It couldn't be any worse than here. read more
