This place is so cute and so good. The food was great, the owner is super nice. Very cozy vibes here. Reasonable pricing. Will definitely be coming back!:)

Pretty good carne asada tacos, but small portions compared to other mexican restaurants. The service was pretty good and the food came out fast! Great casual spot if you're craving Mexican food.

We found our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle. We are originally from California so our standards are high for Mexican food and La Villa exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and their food was fresh and flavorful. Even the chips and salsa were delicious. The meat in both of our dishes were tender and flavorful. We've tried a number of different places and this restaurant is the only one we can confidently say we'll be returning to.

I wanted this to be my next easy access Mexican restaurant being so close to where I live. Unfortunately the food was maybe the worst Mexican food I've ever had and I didn't feel welcomed here at all by the server. I loved the space and all of their decorations, but they are missing some key elements to make a successful business IMO. My friend arrived first and got us a table. It seemed like there were plenty of tables available when I got there and yet there were still people waiting to be seated. I don't think they have many people working there so turnaround of tables was an issue. My friend ordered the beef enchiladas while I ordered the crab quesadilla. Red flag #1 should have been how long it took for the food to come out. Mexican food is usually super fast, unless you have a big party and they are trying to get all the dishes out at the same time. Red flag #2 was that they used surimi (imitation crab/crab stick) instead of actual crab AND charged me an extra $3 for it on the check! Um, what?! That stuff costs less than pork at the store - you definitely can't be upcharging for fake crab meat!!! My water glass sat empty for the second half of the meal and it felt like the server was pissed off at us every time we flagged him down for something. This is why I left thirsty without asking for more water and didn't bother to dispute the extra $3 charge for terrible surimi in my utterly disgusting quesadilla. If you're going to try to sneak in fake crab, at least use enough cheese so that it melts the whole thing together and I can't tell the difference! This flour tortilla fold was dry and barely edible. I make a better quesadilla at home!

A quiet little Mexican restaurant in a nice quiet Seattle neighborhood. The staff were friendly and attentive. It felt really welcoming. The meals were hearty. I've never had birria tacos and it was quite good! Two with rice and beans were filling. The restaurant comes with chips and salas, and their green one was the best.

I loved the food. I had the Chile en hogada y it was delicious. The vibe is a family one.

Outstanding chicken molé at this little family owned (daughter & father) Mexican restaurant. Very fresh chips and salsa. Delicious, slightly boozy margarita. Prompt and personable service. I will be back with friends. Support a minority-owned business--check it out!

The components were there but it wasn't spicy or as savory as it looks. It's missing something but idk. The imperial rolls were refreshing. I like that it comes with lettuce for a little wrap. Good starter to share with others. We got seated outside on a nice day. Plenty of seating inside and out. Service was great, checking in on us. Would recommend if you're really craving viet food and are in the area. Other than that, it could be a little bit on the pricier side for food you can find elsewhere for cheaper. The dishes either lacked flavor or was too salty.

Nice that they have regular test, low test and no test drinks depending on how much alcohol you want. Food was very tasty, we had the lobster pasta and the fajitas. The tortillas were very flimsy so messy but still nice flavor and good amount of food.. started with the hummus which is what I was told to try there and yes a creative hummus plate... which brings me to the only hiccup... The chef gets creative at times and apparently edamame is in season so randomly added to the hummus even though not on the menu. Found out half way through then had to verify what beans they were and couldn't eat rest of dish. I wonder what the server was thinking a "starter" was supposed to be.... This was during an evening in February and the place was way overheated , I estimated something close to 80F where we were sitting. Cocktails were fine and I will come back to just sit at bar for that, but the dinner experience was just not for me at Joey's.

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. The staff turned the bar TV volume up so loud it was difficult to have a conversation.
