Went here last weekend to watch the Apple Cup. Our group of friends have been coming here for 25+ years. We all agreed this was our last time coming for a big game. We knew to get there early to get a table and get something to eat. People who arrived after kickoff had to wait in a long line outside and even then some people never made it in. We also expected it to be a loud frat party atmosphere but this year was worse than ever. 2 young men were completely wasted by halftime. We alerted security to keep an eye on one particularly obnoxious kid. Wait time inside to order a beer or food was 30 minutes!!! We left at halftime because we were done with it.

Great neighborhood pub for a beer and food. We tend to stop by during the week when it's quieter, but we've also been there for game days which are a good time. Service is good and the food is tasty. The fries are a must. Plenty of games including pool and darts. Make sure to bring quarters with you. We also love this place because we can bring our dog with us.

They have great wings and delicious burgers. Definitely try the double bacon cheeseburger - it looks amazing, and I'm ordering it next time for sure.

$8 pitcher & two Dawg fans.

It was a busy game night, men's basketball, UW vs Gonzaga. The beer line moved fairly quickly, the food took a bit longer than normal, but once received tasted great. The staff did their best to keep up & provide updates when needed. If you're a bit tight on money, keep in mind you can still get an $8 pitcher here from the "Husky tap". It's the champagne of beers, Miller High Life!

A fantastic bar in Ravenna. The staff are friendly, there is a lot of space for groups and the food is great! The drinks are great and there is a full service bar and beer. There is a variety of food that is made fresh and tastes fantastic. The fries are crispy and seasoned well. The Buffalo chicken wings are great as well!

Patron and side of pineapple juice. Cup of salt. I asked.for a shot glass with salt around the rim.

Best "dive" bar in Seattle. Hands down. Food is good, beers are cheaper than other places.

Its by far the best place to watch a Husky game in the area, and UW alums are always there in high numbers.

The patty was thick, flavorful and cooked medium as I requested, the tomatoes were gorgeous. Same goes for the lettuce, red onion and pickles on the burger. All really fresh and high quality. Locals were watching old school WWF on tv and everyone was chatting and having a great time. I noticed the stage in the comer so I know they have live local music, which is rad. I came for the food only but I arrived 45 minutes after the kitchen closed. So I sat down and ordered a drink while I searched for food on my phone. The bartender ( I think his name was Paul) noticed I was looking for food and helped me. Super friendly and tentative bartender, and the locals all chimed in with their favorite spots. Found they do pinball tournaments, I thought that was super cool. I loved my visit here and if I was ever back in the area or even near Seattle I would go drop in or a drink and to finally get one of those dope looking sandos. Also, I think I ran into a distant cousin of mine, fucking wild!

It only went downhill from there though haha The entire bottom of the pizza was moist (see da pics). While the ingredients seemed to be of high quality, together each bite was honestly pretty bland. The crust did have a nice crunchy texture to it paired with a soft, airy interior. But again, that was about the only part of the pizza that held any integrity at all just bc of how wet the bottom of the pie was lol. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt--maybe it's bc I ordered take out? Maybe it's much better when dining in? Perhaps it was just a one off. Idk. All in all, we still ate it but def was not worth the $40 we paid for it. Oh on the plus side (in addition to the crust lol), the gal who served me was pleasant and efficient despite being obviously busy.

All that was missing was a couple of old Italian guys wearing pinky rings sitting in a corner booth. It has a real neighborhood vibe to it, and the next time I'm in town I would like to eat here. The pizza was very good. I'm not much of a deep dish guy, which seems to be a thing in Seattle, so I asked for a thin crust which they said they could do. I think we have different ideas on what a thin crust is, as I didn't see it but yeah, the pizza is still pretty good; a bit on the thick side, but the ingredients were fresh and there was plenty of cheese on top.

Love the time portal and the community feel here. The cocktails might not be awesome, but for the price they're fine, and if you stick to something basic you'll be happy. Pretty meat-heavy menu, but they do have a veggie burger I haven't tried yet, and a quesadilla and other snacky apps in the bar. Their jalapeno poppers are great. And their salad comes adorned with cheez-its which I find charming. Plus they have popcorn! Wish I'd stumbled in here years sooner. I hear their days are numbered, and I plan to come in as often as possible until that fateful day.

The wrong martinis served without olives . The waitress couldn't care less. I'm not even sure we spoke the same kind of English ... I felt like I was in a scene from the movie Hell or High Water (2016). In this famous scene, an elderly waitress tells Texas Rangers Marcus and Alberto that she has worked there for 44 years and they only serve T-bone steak and baked potato, famously asking, "So what don't you want?". Well anyways, the prime rib , which is why we came, only comes as an 11 oz. cut at the largest (and it surely wasn't anything more than that thin little slice on the plate) . For a big PR lover like me just too small to ever be reconsidered. It wasn't bad , sort of middle of the road. Just too small to be taken more seriously. Ambiance is old school worn vinyl booths , the bar overcrowded TV screen no-go, dining room maybe a bit bright, and, dare I say, the clientele is of the casual variety.

The black cod was not the center of the dish literally or figuratively: it should have been labeled a black cod salad because for 35 dollars it was a giant pile of salad with a tiny sliver of cod served on the side. It is offensive to call this a main course with how the dish is plated and portioned. The rest of the menu suffers from similar compromises: the lobster rolls are pretty good but very small for 33 dollars. Some of the other menu items were a lot better in presentation and value. The mushroom risotto and the cheeseburger were some of the better items on the menu. The oysters were also very good. There's some bright spots here but the overall experience is very compromised by some landmines on the menu. I would come here specifically to sample a few oysters and for the cheeseburger but not for any other items if you are expecting an actual meal. You can easily drop 80+ dollars and leave feeling like something was missing.

We came mostly for happy hour but there wasn't much that intrigued us on the menu. We did split half a dozen oysters that were served with the most boring and basic mignonette and no lemon. The texture on the oysters was off enough to the point we hoped we wouldn't get sick later. The side salad on the happy hour menu we did enjoy, along with the burger. I'd come back for the burger and salad and that's it. The server left much to be desired and really impacted our experience. I know it's hard for restaurants to survive in Seattle with how expensive everything is. It's also expensive for people to go out to eat in this city. Definitely would prefer to spend my time and money elsewhere.

They sell drinks, they have tvs, outdoor ping pong, indoor pool tables. Bartenders were polite and served me with no issue. So, plus: dependable spot that serves alcohol. There's also a smoking area on the outside patio for those who do that. I see people calling this a dive. Maybe because this part of Seattle is becoming gentrified, Teddys is seen as a dive, but no, I don't' think its a dive at all. I think its an aging sports bar in a neighborhood that has high rise condos being propped up left and right. In some respects, that might be part of its charm. It's a throwback to what normal neighborhood sports bars were like in Seattle. But it's aging, and I don't think the employees are keeping things polished like they once did. That doesn't mean its a dive though. My times in Seattle visiting this bar were in August. Maybe their is a busier time of year, but I found the bar to be really sleepy and not much going on. I somewhat judge a bar on the kind of people I meet and talk to, but I really never found like minded folks or interesting topics here. I think this is a fine bar for grabbing a drink, especially if you don't feel like 'going out', but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend an evening here. Your experience is what you make it: bring the right crowd and you could have the time of your life. I wouldn't show up expecting the right crowd to already be there though. I, my wife, and her friend stopped by for New Year's Drinks around 6, and about 6:30 or so, made the mistake of asking Tim Duvall, the clearly drunken before 7:00 PM owner of the establishment, whether outside food can be brought into the bar. This led to his regaling us with an extended and utterly unsolicited history of the bar. He then invited himself to sit with us, halfway into the seat before slurring a "Can I sit down?" to insert himself into our booth. We then moved to another unsolicited conversation, this time about politics. Now, to be clear - I have no doubt that I and a sober Tim Duvall probably agree on most of our politics. This did not stop him from berating me as I agreed with his point, loudly escalating and yelling as I tried to agree with him (again... to be clear, I DIDN'T disagree his political view) until he stood and began yelling that I was kicked out. As I stood to talk on him, he became VERY comfortable with putting his hands on me, grabbing my sweatshirt to move me. I was NOT about to challenge that as a Black man new to Seattle that doesn't know how the police would handle things. I need to be very specific about how quickly this man felt comfortable touching me, grabbing my sweater to "drag" me. This is the step that is WAY over the line. I would genuinely like to recommend this place, as I'm looking for bars that offer sugar cane soda. Drunken ownership- in the early evening in New Year's - that feels comfortable being handsy with Black folk is far too much. AVOID at all costs.
