We had a large party on the patio. Beautiful area and perfect space to ourselves. Our server Issac was great but he was spread too thin. We didn't receive some items in a timely manner and he seemed like he was trying so hard but didn't have help. He had tables inside as well as our 25 person party. I feel it was best to have him just on our large party or have two people out with us so they didn't lag. We wanted to split the checks but couldn't for some reason so that made paying extra stressful, long, and difficult. We got out of there pretty late due to this issue. The food was overall good. Some dishes were average but good like enchiladas while others like the molcajete were amazing. The alcoholic drinks were all great! Overall I feel service lacked but not due to friendliness of our server (he was so kind and helpful), but lack of support for him from upper management. Big groups need focus of one server or multiple.

I met up with a girlfriend and we decided to sit at the bar just for fun--and WOW, what a great decision! The drinks were absolutely amazing. Marylu, the bartender, made the best tamarindo margarita with agave--hands down delicious and perfectly balanced. We ordered the parrilla de mariscos, and it was outstanding--so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Moni, our waitress, was incredible: attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel taken care of. You can genuinely feel the positive energy among the staff, and the owner, Vero, is simply awesome and welcoming. We ended up staying almost three hours because the vibes were THAT good. Amazing food, fantastic drinks, top-notch service, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back!!

Great food! Great service. Thin salsa. Got the chicken fajitas. Very tasty. I'll add shrimp next time.

The food and service was excellent. Regardless of what Yelp says, they don't accept reservations on Friday nights.

If you're going to hang your hat on the speakeasy aesthetic--dim lights, hushed tones, whispers of…read moreexclusivity--then understand this: you're entering into an unspoken pact with your patrons. We expect a certain standard, a level of care that borders on obsession. So when I catch Evan Williams--respectable, questionable, but barely twelve bucks a bottle--making an appearance behind the bar, it feels like a breach of trust. A quiet betrayal under low lighting. The illusion only works if the details hold up under scrutiny... and that pour? It broke the spell. And then comes the real offense: discovering that your Old Fashioned--the crown jewel of any respectable cocktail program--are built on bottom-shelf, dust-collecting bourbon. That's not just a letdown, it's a slap in the face. A cocktail like that deserves reverence, not shortcuts. And as if to twist the knife, there it was--a massive can of red maraschino cherries sitting shamelessly atop the bar, like some relic from a dive that's given up on finesse. It wasn't just a misstep. It was disrespect. In a place claiming the speakeasy mantle, details like these matter. They're the difference between theater and parody. The cocktails did not warrant the $15 price tag. Moreover, I would have paid more had I know the class of bourbon upfront. What ultimately redeems the space is its ambiance. The low flicker of the fireplace, the soft embrace of worn leather sofas, the curated hum of music floating just above conversation--it's seductive, even soulful. The room itself is small, intimate--the kind of place where you're bound to recognize a face, or at the very least, feel inclined to invite a stranger to share the sofa and maybe a story. And then there's the setting--tucked beneath a historic relic, a basement bar built into the bones of old Americana. The building dates back to the early 1900s, echoing with a past that deserves to be honored, not phoned in. That's exactly why I expected more from the cocktails. A place with this much atmosphere shouldn't fall flat when it comes to what's in the glass. It's a mismatch--a beautiful stage, but a script that doesn't quite rise to meet it.

I absolutely cannot get enough of this place…read more The basement here is really the place to be. I love the ambiance, and the history on the walls. The cocktails change so it's always fun to come back! I always try to be there when this section opens. I love the calmness of the space and it gets livelier as the night progresses and it does get packed Always one of my highly recommended spots for people who want great drinks, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. I'm looking forward to my next stop in!

Music not too loud and The fire pits and outside seating were dreamy and the drinks were so delicious and beautiful. Service was very friendly, they checked on us a few times and let us know when the kitchen was closing. We had the white tiger margarita, ventucky mule, and Jamaica margarita but with mezcal. All 3 were so flavorful and delicious and just the right amount of alcohol. I also ordered their fish tacos which were honestly perfect. Crispy, flavorful, fresh, no fishy taste. We will be back!

Especially with a toddler (IYKYK). We tried a couple of things and shared them. The fish tacos were better than I expected. Loved the kick of the chipotle sauce on them and the charred pineapple was a nice touch. The garlic shrimp had a nice bite. I wish the spinach and artichoke dip were a bit creamier. As it cooled down, it wasn't as smooth to spread on your chip but still good. And their beef tallow fries are always a must and delish! Service was so friendly! The woman who took our order made recommendations on the menu, was very sweet, and attentive. Servers walking around were also so nice and good about cleaning up unused plates. Great place for a quick, low stakes happy hour and dinner. Family friendly and beautiful setup.
