I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. I had a memorable experience and I am looking forward to seeing them again.

They served a buffet meal which was quite delicious and generous! Our server at Lorimar made herself available for anything we needed. Eddie, our driver even fetched our sweaters when we needed them. We mentioned that we have a 1992 Triple Cream Sherry and wondered how they were drinking now, should we open now or can it still sit, etc. Since they had one open in the back, they poured us a little bit and it was still fantastic! I suggest sitting outdoors with a covered patio is lovely. Gift shop looks like a museum inside. There are special items you can only buy at the location that is not sold elsewhere. Must try the Stella rosa sweet/spicy jam and pasta sauce. There is always a clearance section I like to shop at too. We left with a bunch of cute items and my favorite wine Magdalena cab. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business.
