Great place for takeout pizza. Called in my order for pickup and they lost my ticket. Arrived to pick up my pizza and they were very apologetic. I completely understood, it happens. We ordered a veal grinder. When it was ordered we asked THREE times to confirm the peppers and onions on the grinder were cooked. Got the grinder back to work and peppers and onions were raw. Called them and they said that is the way they make it. That is why we asked THREE times if the peppers and onions were cooked. If not cooked we would have said leave them off and all would have been good. They cannot get a simple order correct. I will not be back. read more

First time here. They gave me someone else's pizza and I realized it as I walked outside and smelled onions. I brought it back in and the girl beyond the counter basically snatched it from me and demanded to know what it was. They had given my pizza to a delivery driver and he was out to deliver it to some other person. I had a different gentleman's pizza. So three orders were made and given to the wrong people. After about 7 mins of no one saying anything to me about my order I asked the girl behind the counter what was happening. She said she thought the delivery driver was bringing it back. Ew. Another girl interrupted and said she thought they were remaking it. I asked if she could find out and she did and said they were remaking it. I asked if they could also remake the fries because they would be cold. She said she didn't know so I again asked if she could find out. They remade the fries and the pizza. Mistakes happen and it's fine but the way it was handled where literally no one told me what was being done to rectify the situation was absurd. Finally got our pizza about 90 mins after it was ordered (40 mins after the quoted time). The pizza itself was good and the hot fries were crispy and quite tasty, so it's a shame I probably won't go back. read more

I love this place. Small town pizza shop with good salads and grinders. I find myself in there often for lunch take-out since it's close to where I work. The owners, Italo and his wife Maria are warm, friendly, and cook some mean food. We've also taken advantage of their catering services for a couple of holidays. For the time, effort, and money that it would take my family to pull off a few large trays of meatballs and trays of pasta, it's a no-brainer to get it here. The pizza is great too. Very reasonable prices and good quality food. This is a consistent local favorite for large traditional (NY style) pizza. They also have good garlic bread! At this place I definitely prefer to stick with pizza, rather than try out the pasta or other offerings, but the quality of the food I get is consistent. By far the best pizza around. Great menu with great selections of pizza, grinders and entrees. Owners (italo and Maria) is frequently working and always greet us with a big smile asking us how we are. These two can cook and you can taste it in everything they put out. Give them a try and you'll see what I mean. Nicly brown and chewy crust with plenty of toppings really satifys my hungry family when I dont feel like cooking. We wanted to go somewhere we hadn't been before for Mothers Day, after reading reviews, we decided to try La Trattoria. I was very hesitant, we had been to the location under previous owners and it was disgusting. We were very pleasantly surprised. It was clean and updated, the garlic bread with cheese was crispy and had ample cheese, the pizza we requested thin, was thin, crispy and tasty, the children's pasta was a good size, and the staff was friendly and attentive, service was quick, and the carrot cake bomb was good. read more

First delivery order from La Trattoria was a huge success. I got two pizzas, chicken parm, a garden salad, and cheesy fries. The chicken park was out.of.this.world!! I normally expect a chicken tender-like platter with some red sauce on top. Not this! The chicken was very fresh and even the spaghetti and sauce were delicious. We have been meaning to try this place for a while. Now I'm wondering what took us so long! Three of us had spaghetti with meatballs, veal scallopini and chicken parmagiana. All were served with fresh baked warm bread and fresh crisp salad. Every entree was piping hot and huge. I'm a big guy with a big appetite, and I can say there is enough food in each order for two meals. The sauces are homemade and delicious. The decor is pretty basic, but the place is very clean. I've gone here several times with other members of the Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists before our monthly meeting and the food has been quite acceptable. Nobody had anything bad to say about anything they had be it pizza, calzone or parmigiana. I wish they had better wine in this age where the cabernet sauvignons and malbecs are generally quite tasty for not much money. The waitress was always excellent in this down to earth restaurant. They were also nice enough to turn off the TV and for hearing challenged gentlemen of a certain age this was a very good thing. read more

I drove past it for years always thinking it was some fancy restaurant. Finally stopped in for lunch, WOW just simply the best. We now stop in sometimes twice a week for lunch. Why all the great reviews??? the pizza was ok, not bad but definitely nothing to write home about. The reason I only gave them 2 stars is because of their pricing. I was in tonight and got a pizza with my son. Half ham and pineapple and half pepperoni and ricotta. Not too crazy right? Well, they charged me the price of a whole Hawaiian pizza, which is more then a typical 2 topping pizza. No big deal, I was pretty much expecting that. What I really didn't understand was that they then charged me for two additional toppings on top of the premium pizza price. So I was charged for a whole Hawaiian pizza pus two additional toppings. The poor server wasn't able to explain the check to me and said that the manager, who I am assuming is the owner, had changed the price after she had rung me up. I then talked to the manager and asked why I was being charged for the two additional topping. At first her only response was "because that's how we charge" and then she went into a whole explanation about how it took more time to put the extra two toppings on the pizza. I literally laughed out loud when she said that. I realized there was no reasoning with her and she could care less what I thought so I just paid the bill and left. It's too bad since I was hoping that it would be a nice place that I could take my son a couple times a month since his mom lives in town. I won't be going back. As for the food, The pizza was ok but I could tell the moment I walked in that there was nothing special about the "restaurant". It is clearly a mediocre pizza joint that specializes in take out pizza and has relied on the town's lack of any decent take out restaurants. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because of the server who was very polite and accommodating, not to mention pretty cute. read more

Ok... I try to be a Vegan 99% of the time, but when I go for my once every month or two fall off the wagon, La Trattoria Pizzeria is great. I've tried almost every dish and they are all REALLY flavorful. The service is always friendly and they've catered to my weird needs whenever I've asked. Great place to bring the family. We ate here last night after the Westover air show. The wife ordered Pasta with chicken and broccoli, it was seriously the largest portion of food I've ever seen given to one individual, lol. It was a mountain of Rigatoni. Lots of oil and garlic. Mozz sticks were good classic mozz sticks. Everything was served literally piping hot. When my lasagna arrived the sauce was bubbling around the edges. Kids also enjoyed their pasta and spaghetti. Unlike some local, hole in the wall side of the road restaurants...this one has good food and we will come again when we are in the area. Just went to a graduation party that had La Trattoria catered food. the Lasagna, Eggplant parmagiana, pasta-broccoli-chicken, ceasar salad and pizza were excellent. I noticed everyone else at the party felt the same way about the food, as I did, as there were numerous second and third helpings being eaten. I have had their Chicken, garlic broccoli pizza in the past, which was the best I've had. This is definitely a place you should consider trying. The food is delicious! read more
