They have a burger made out of shrimp and Oaxaca cheese, 100/10 I absolutely love it! It's a pretty messy burger so get lots of napkins and be ready to eat lol Staff is always friendly! Can get busy in the grand central market, but you can usually find a seat for small groups

Such a fun place to visit - indoor food place in the heart of LA! This ceviche location is always good and always on point! There is bar sitting and also tables on the side.

I was very curious about the black at Aguachiles. So I decided to give them a try. Lily was the person taking my order. We talked a bit about what she recommended. Ultimately, I decided to stick with my initial choice of the black Aguachiles. They did not disappoint. The serving was very generous. Lots of large shrimp, Red onion and cucumber. The sauce was perfection! It was just the right amount of Spicy. Very lemony, and full of flavor. I would definitely get this again.

Stopped by on Sunday, 11/02/25. Located inside the Grand Central Market, my boyfriend ordered the following for the both of us to share: - 2 carnitas tacos = $10.86 - 1 Coca Cola = $5.18 SUBTOTAL = $16.04 TAX (9.75%) = $1.56 TOTAL = $17.60 Way too overpriced but hey, it's the Grand Central Market. The tacos were really good; you can split the 2 tacos into 4 since there's 2 corn tortillas under 1 taco. I'm disappointed that there's no guac or pico de gallo - unless we didn't spot any.

Sat down for some ceviche while strolling the market one afternoon. Service was fast and friendly, price was reasonable and the food was extremely fresh, flavorful and abundant with a perfect spicy kick!

So many amazing choices here at grand central market but we decided to try La Tostaderia cuz it looked so good! We got the sampler, shrimp ceviche tostada, and the lobster roll (not pictured).. the lobster roll was wrapped in a burrito but so good!! In fact , everything was so fresh and tasty! There was a line to order so naturally the food took a minute but well worth the wait!

Not much to say here. Service was good. Great location. Barely mediocre and very much over priced tostadas. We wish there was a better quality.

4++ This place is located in the Grand Central Market. What sets this place apart from some of the other taco stands in the market is that it specializes in seafood items. The folks here are friendly and there is a good variety of items to select from, but still pretty streamlined. Because it is located in the Grand Central Market, the place feels always pretty busy around you, whether there are other folks sitting around you or the people here filling to go orders. There's a general sense of hustle for sure, but when you are dining there, the vibe can still be chill. Another cool thing is that they have the items on display so you have a good idea of what you're ordering (at least when I went around lunch time) I got a couple of the gringos tacos with just shrimp. They were delicious and had a good amount of ingredients on it giving it a great texture and flavor profile. This place is definitely a great place to scratch that mariscos itch while being reasonably priced. You can order the tacos mixed with octopus (which is supposed to be the really popular item), but I personally stopped eating octopus.

Not the best ceviche I've had but it hit the spot. Appreciate the amount that is given. It was extremely delicious, I personally like a more chopped up shrimp. Nonetheless it was good and would get it again. Staff were nice and food was done pretty quickly.

Sample Platter

Seafood was really fresh! Just know the sample platter comes with bite-sized food and ceviche... for about $25 you're probably better off getting an actual plate. My favorite taco was the shrimp with chipotle. Service was pretty fast- took about 15 mins to get the food. Overall, I give it a 6/10.

White fish tostada

I got the white fish tostada and it was fresh and not too saucy. Perfect quick bite for lunch.

I ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada, omg sooooo good! It was juicy fresh and delicious. The avocado was prefect didn't taste weird. The shrimp wasn't chewy at all , it was prefect! It was not spicy at all either. Just over all so delicious! && fulfilling. The price was decent, the service was good and fast. Will definitely be returning!

in grand central market where there are so many great food options to choose from, la tostaderia still stands out! their menu is so full of different seafood options that it was hard to choose from! luckily, they offered a sampler platter that comes with 4 small tacos (fried fish, fried fish, and 2 gobernador tacos) and 2 ceviches (fish and shrimp). I thought that the sampler platter had exactly the variety I wanted and allowed me to try a bunch of different options for a good price! the platter was $25 for 6 small tacos/tostadas that left me very full and satisfied. all of the ingredients were also very fresh and not fishy at all. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for Mexican food while browsing grand central market and aren't sure what to pick!

This restaurant came up on my IG feeds... looks awesome... we were not disappointed! The restaurant does not take reservations online. We came on a weeknight, found a street parking right infront and got seated right away (scored!) They have 4 tower sets: crew set ($109) serving 1-2 persons, chief set ($159.99) serving 3-4, master ($219.99) serving 4-5, captain ($299) serving 5-6. They also have a la carte, hot pot, etc. We had crew set which includes 1.4 lbs Manila clams, 2 whole shell oyster, large clams, shrimps, mussles, scallops, octopus, potatoes, served with korean ceviche, steam egg, pancake, spicy rice cakes, korean noodle soups. There are 3 different dipping sauces which are delicious. It is a lot of food. You definitely get your money worth here. The staff is friendly and attentive. They cooked the seafood at the table. The air ventilator is pretty good but I probably won't wear my must dry-clean clothes to dine here. Overall, Burnin' Shell did live up to its hype!

As for the food let's get into it: - Smoked Trout Dip (9/10) surprisingly one of our favorite dishes, packed a lot of flavor and paired perfect with the crackers. - Sicilian Crudo (10/10) I've had this at other places, but found oyster does it right. Will be adding caviar next time. - Oysters (8/10) prices were reasonable and the oysters themselves were delicious. Wish they had Kumamoto oysters but their selection was more local. - Clam Chowder (7/10) Wasn't terrible, but I prefer a more thicker chowder. Still, at $9 a cup I would give it another try. Overall a great experience. The service was really good especially at the bar. Would I go again? Absolutely!

Back then, they didn't take reservations, but I noticed recently that they started accepting reservations via Resy, so I made a reservation and my husband and I came here in March. Found Oyster is located in East Hollywood, on the same street where Saffy's is. It can be a bit hard to find street parking nearby because of neighborhood rules, but we managed to find a spot after circling a bit. The restaurant is very small, but it has both indoor and outdoor seating. I think the size of it adds to the charm. It also has a nautical theme inside and a New England feel about the place. The seating options inside are either at the bar, or tiny high-top tables. For appetizers, we shared the peel and eat prawns, half a dozen oysters and the sicilian crudo. Everything was good, but the servings were smaller than I expected. I also think that the peel and eat prawns would have been pretty mediocre without the special sauce. For mains, my husband got the lobster roll, while I had the mussels. His lobster roll was good, but in my experience it's hard to go wrong with buttered lobster on bread served with fries. My mussels were fresh and tasty. They were good, but nothing to write home about. Service was friendly and efficient.

There is a combo order of both, but it includes the American marinated crab and an extra small live uni. With their recommendation, we opted for the Korean marinated crab and small uni to share with 2 adults and one kid. When the food came out, they gave us another live uni on the house and I was so happy because I didn't want to share mine! The food was so homey and delicious. The seafood pajeon was so loaded with all the seafood bits and the soy bean soup was the perfect palette cleanser. Service was great and they were so helpful to answer any questions we had. All in all a 5+ for the restaurant, also the restroom seems pretty clean so it's another plus for this smallish restaurant.

We arrived at about 10am (opening time) and we were able to find a good spot in the private parking lot. We opted for the grilled halibut and seabass dishes with garlic bread, rice, salad, and ceviche. Even though it was a little cool from the rainy weather, it was still nice enough to eat outside in an enclosed patio with electric heaters. They also have two restroom facilities for any bathroom needs. The main area where we ordered was also where we picked up our orders. We also had the option to call ahead and place orders for pick up/to go. Those were processed in the Seafood Market section (where they had different fresh fish and seafood options). The food was pretty good--opted for garlic butter sauce for the fish and it was the perfect complement to the halibut, but the sea bass was honestly so tender that it needed no sauce. The salad and dressing were as expected. Same with the rice. All of these portions were pretty big. The garlic bread was also pretty tasty and a juge portion, but the ceviche, although good, was a smaller portion than expected. It was fresh and quite flavorful and came with a side of chips.
