Guacamole was incredible. It's a small place with great food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Quit your search. This place has the best Guacamole and Chips in the known Universe. Their food is excellent but the Guacamole is I die for.

I reached out to them on whatsapp - letting them know that my husband and I were excited to try their food. I got a reply within a minute saying: We are open. We arrived within 10 minutes and the chef tells us the kitchen is closed. He blames the poor communication on the front office. The website does not state what time the kitchen is closed - it simply says open until 11:30PM, as well as, on google. I responded to the whatsapp message letting them know - we were turned away due to the kitchen being closed at 11PM. I couldn't believe the response I received. I was told that I wasn't turned away, they could see me on camera and it didn't look like anyone was being rude to me. The appropriate response would been a simple - The kitchen is closed at 11PM and we are happy to have customers until 11:30PM at the bar. Instead of "we are open" - come and be disappointed we don't have any food. A simple - We apologize for giving you the wrong information would have sufficied. We wasted our time and money getting here. Do not go here. By the way: My family is from Trinidad and Tobago - specifically Diego Martin and Cuerpe. I tend to support Black and specifically - Caribbean businesses, but I want to warm customers that may be treated the same or worse if they go.

We were welcomed by the barmaid in the front and promptly seated by the manager. The ambiance is calm, romantic, and cozy, and the menu intriguing. We started with cocktails, and an appetizer of Iberian Carpaccio. My wife and I both selected paella as a main course, mine was the Arròs Negre (squid ink), which was amazing . Highly recommended!

The ambience is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming--perfect for a relaxed yet memorable evening. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Spanish cuisine. Standout dishes for us included the tomato tartar, scallops, seabass, steak, and every single dessert we tried was exceptional. The service deserves special recognition. Marsi took great care of us, and the entire team worked seamlessly together. Melody, Jackie, and Nancy were all incredibly kind, attentive, and efficient, making us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention goes to Nadia, the dessert chef--her talent truly shines through in the beautifully crafted and unforgettable desserts. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and well-rounded dining experience. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere--Cera 23 is a place we would happily return to and highly recommend.

Dessert was some sort of "pudding" and we also ordered a milkshake. If/when you come here, be decently hungry. The portions are generous and filling. Everything was delicious, though I really would rate the spicy sauce as mild. It was flavorful though! Everything was seasoned nicely and I recommend also dipping your potatoes in the other spicy sauce they have bottled on the table. The pudding we had reminded my dining companion of some sort of British pudding from his childhood. To me as an American, I would describe it more as a cast iron cake soaked in some delightfully sweet (but not too sweet!) custard. It was excellent. The milkshake was fantastic. Nothing really blew me away, but everything was delicious and very satisfying. The space is very casual and pretty small. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. It was refreshing to be served by someone who clearly had a love for the food and the establishment.

I tried the Caribbean chicken, and asked for a sample of the extra spicy African sauce. I'm not sure if my heretofore high tolerance for spice has been dulled after 6 years living in Barcelona, but that sauce was MUY PICANTE!! I'm not even sure if I can handle the African chicken that comes automatically with the extra picante sauce. But since I'm not one to back down from a challenge, I'll be ordering it next time. At under 15 euros for the chicken, it's still relatively cheap considering the quality, but that's without any sides. They give you a frequent customer punch card - the 10th chicken is free. If I ever eat at the restaurant, I'll amend my review.
