The place was recommended to us by a friend and we absolutely loved it! After days of eating Tapas, we were craving something a bit different. Rabipelao totally it the spot! The areas were amazing, I loved the avocado with chicken. The plantain chips were just as delicious. The place was lively even though it is tucked away in the Gracia neighborhood. Great mojitos and the husband got some amazing Venezuelan rum that he couldn't stop raving about. Will definitely go back when I am in Barcelona.

Great food, great atmosphere. We learned our lesson as you have to get there early to get a spot to eat.

They did bus the tables to seat people with a noticeable quickness. They have a rotating daily menu that changes the specials each day. We ended up here 3x and each time had different foods. Some evenings we enjoyed make the others so it'll depend on what menu items you get each day. Food came quick, service was prompt, and prices were more than reasonable.

The feta cheese was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like imitation rubber cheese. - The "Al Ajillo" Style Shrimps (GAMBES AMB ALLADA) had a very strange flavor within it, which overwhelmed the garlic flavors. - The Beef Tenderloin (FILET VEDELLA), she had to spit 1/4 of it out because it was too tough. - Everything was overpriced there for the value. If you are in the area DO NOT waste your time nor money dining here!!!

It's about a 6 minute taxi ride from there. We were seated in the back room with the writing covering the walls. The front bar seemed a little livelier but we took what was offered. Husband had house red wine (3.50 euros) and I had sangria (4.50 euros). Good pours for both. We started with the red shrimp (gambillos) in a lemongrass sauce, about 6 shrimp for 15 euros. Then grilled octopus (which was very tender) over mash potatos and snap peas for 15 euros. We also had a side of grilled bread (4 pieces) for 3.5. We also ordered the Pepita beef with mash potato but took home for dinner as we were full (18 euros). We finished with the homemade corn ice cream with carmelized popcorn and raspberries, which was very unique at 6.5. We added our names to the wall to top off the meal. Service was quick and friendly. Total bill was 85 euros including 5 drinks. It was our best meal in Barcelona so far.
