The service and food is good, but they close way too early! I get out of work at 5 and craving they're tacos.

It looks very festive and welcoming. The ambiance and environment are spectacular. The food is great. The only drawback is that I wanted more. But hey, I was satisfied with the portions, and my wanting more was because the quesobirria is that good. 4 stars because the birria Ramen bowl was off the chains delicious. But the noodles were overcooked. I couldn't convey my request to them due to the language barrier. I'll have to learn to say what I want when I go again. read more

Food was really expensive here. No tiene sazon, savor. We got the quesatacos and the portion of the meat in the tacos was very small. It had more cheese if anything. We also got the birriaramen and that also a small portion of meat and was mostly cuerrito (fat). The ambience was good. Honestly my wife and I just had a really bad experience tired just wanting to come home my wife was super nice post mating dinner our meal was missing it's consume quesabirria didn't come with any queso has to drive all the way there I had a hard time communicating the cashier and then when I wanted to change my order just took my card and order the food. Let me start this review by saying service is extremely slow. Like sllllloooowwww. When we arrived and went up to the counter to order, we were asked if we were dining in or doing take out. We said dine in and were instructed to take a seat and would get served. An acknowledgment/ drink took 15-20 minutes. While we were waiting for a server to acknowledge us, a group of people came in and ordered at the counter and sat down. We ordered our food before 6:56 and got our food at 7:48. Needless to say, the group that got there after us got their meals before us. My fiancé was livid and was ready to ask for a refund. I spoke to the server who had no idea that we hadn't received our food. 50 minutes to get food is not ok. I understand that it's a soft opening, but this isn't their first location so you would think they know how business works. We've been going to the Santa Ana location for a long time and wanted to try out this new location. It did not disappoint. We had the Twins quesabirria combo with consomé and the birriaramen. The consomé and birria had a lot of flavor. Service was great! I really liked the added table services and our server was nice and attentive. I've been to La super Birria in Santa Ana on first Street. That location is excellent. This location is not very good. The Birria was very bland didn't even taste like Birria . Super small portions and microwaved store-bought tortillas. Quesabirrias lacked enough cheese and had no flavor. This is not a reproduction of the original La super Birria . I hate to be unkind but this location is disappointing at best. don't waste your time coming here. The food does not match the ambiance of this place. Went in for a pretty basic meal 1 taco dorado and 12oz consume. I placed my order at 12:14 my and my food came out at 12:57! The family of three who ordered before me received their food and finished their food. Since cash orders are taken at the cash register by the front door as opposed to card payments that are taken by the kitchens register I'm guessing this might have caused this ordeal. Either way it's not acceptable. My food must've have sat in the window the entire time the only girl working the front scurried around taking phone orders. The family who finished their meals shook their heads in disbelief that they were leaving and I still hadn't gotten my food. Again, it was only a consume and a taco. The service is at a -1 star and I'm only giving them 1 star because you can't do 0 of negative stars. Step it up. read more

Came in at 9:30 on a Saturday. Online and on maps this location says it closes at 11. I came in and the lady said that they closed at 9pm.

My foodie friend took me here a week ago, and I'm still dreaming of the birria there. I love the charred taste of the birria with the consome on the side. My mouth drools each time I think about it. I've had a lot of excellent Mexican food, but I think this one is one of the best that I've had. Right up there with Guisados in Los Angeles. The flan was also smooth and deep. Each was the slice of a pie, so definitely order at least one per two people, because you'll want more of it. Again, one of the best flans that I've had. We also tried the tacos dorados...it was just okay. The quema mano was very good -- like a fried version of the traditional taco in the family pack. The outdoor patio was spacious with a riding bull ride. I would definitely plan a party here. I will definitely be back. There are other items on the menu that I want to try the next time I am there. read more

Tortillas are hand made and they go the extra mile to provide table side fresh condiments and salsa. Unlimited supply you can't find anymore! Extremely clean and service is great. Finally stopped here mid-afternoon today. I was expecting more of a fast food vibe but the interior was much nicer. Staff was attentive and helpful. I ordered the Clásica which comes with 2 large handmade tortillas. Most excellent, and quite tasty. Next time tho, I'm ordering extra of the homemade tortillas. read more

Not the same vibe, and vibe as the one in Santa Ana. One small sign that tells you to order at the counter. No available menus. You have to look around other people to see the menu displayed. Not a big issue but would be nice to have menus. Food is delicious. Definitely would come back. read more

If you're looking for some good birria & good service, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have never seen dry birria before. The consome was way watered down, had no consistency at all & was flavorless. The consome is supposed to be made from the juices when cooking the meat. I ordered a family pack to go consisting of 1 pound of meat, one 24 oz of consome & 8 tortillas for $39.99. Good sized portions & the tortillas were good but that was it. The service was terrible! Ordered at 6:43 & got my order at 7:20! Mind you, the place was not full at all.
