Great, warm location on the main strip of downtown Morrison. A newer place, maybe working out a few kinks, but the food and service were outstanding. I made the easy decision to judge the cuisine on a the Caesar and steak standard. The Caesar was well dressed with unique pink lettuce - not to mention white anchovies, my favorite. There were a couple beef specials and apps, but I went with the filet, well cooked and melt in your mouth with a nice demi. The barley risotto was ok, not my favorite, but I still would order the plate again. An even bigger surprise was the passion fruit cheesecake, it disappeared quickly. Add this place to your list. Note: Yelp needs to do something to not amplify 1 star reviews by out of state reviewers with only 1 or two reviews. Two of which I unfortunately see on this restaurant.

I went here with some work colleagues and the experience was amazing! The atmosphere was lit dimly to provide a calm and quiet environment. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining the daily specials and was able to answer all questions we had about the menu. We took her suggestion on the wine selection and she was awesome in suggesting the wine. The food was very delicious! Some of the pairings seemed a little odd but trust me when I say the chef knows how to be creative and making the flavors work. The tartare was seasoned perfectly and was topped with a delicious quail egg. The elk tenderloin was the special of the day and it was cooked to perfection!! 10/10! I will be coming here again! If you're in the Morrison area, it is definitely worth a visit!

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was incredible! From specialty cocktails to delicious appetizers and entrees! The service was also fantastic. We ordered the fire roasted shrimp and burrata as our appetizers and wow so full of flavor! Next was the lasagna and short ribs. Presentation and flavor was so good. We really needed another incredible restaurant close by and we will be coming back for sure. It is pricey but always good for a special occasion or date night.

Gorgonzola Pear Salad with prosciutto. My wife really enjoyed it very filling. The Octopus was also generous with portions.

Opened in August at the former location of Cafe Prague. We really miss Cafe Prague but thought we would try out this Italian steakhouse. We were super impressed. Very inventive choices on the menu, food offerings We don't normally see. Waygu steak for a special, served with thinly sliced potatoes and granola! Bizarre but it works. Very tasty Octopus with both a pesto and a red sauce. They even have specials for the desserts! About twice the price of Outback but five times better. And service was excellent. Jacob, our waiter knew the menu well and helped guide us to good choices. The other staff did a great job supporting him. Ambiance? Much like Cafe Prague, but a little bit more light and airy. Nice place to spend a Saturday night celebrating our 38th anniversary.

I ended up having the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup which sounds very simple, but I could not have been more impressed with the sandwich and soup combo. Walked in and we were seated within 5 minutes. Our host let us know he was not the waiter and would bring us water or other drinks we would like and our waiter would be with us shortly. Fabulous lunch menu along with a Kids menu that the kiddos could color on which is always a plus. I ordered the half Apple Cheese Chive salad and it was fantastic. I could have eaten the full salad. When I ordered it the server asked, "Have you had this salad here before?" To which I answered no. He shared that the salad does not come with lettuce, it comes just as it says on the menu: apples, cheese, chives. Okay. It sounds delicious to me. Now I want to create this at home! Also ordered at our table: Grilled Cheese and tomato soup and Steak Frites. All were given two thumbs up! We would definitely come back here when in the area.

The atmosphere is fantastic--sophisticated yet incredibly welcoming--but the food and service are what truly set this place apart. Our server, Shannon, was absolute perfection. She was over the top with her kindness and went out of her way to make sure every accommodation was met. Service like hers is rare and made the night feel truly special. The Food: * The Steaks: We had the Filet Mignon (served over savory mushrooms) and the Bone-In Ribeye. Both were cooked to a flawless sear, incredibly tender, and topped with a rich compound butter that took them to the next level. * The Sides: You have to try the Jalapeño Creamed Corn. It's velvety, sweet, and has the perfect hint of heat. We also loved the fresh shrimp and balsamic-glazed avocado salad. * Dessert: We finished with the Strawberry Cheesecake on a chocolate crust. It was the perfect, decadent end to a beyond-delicious meal. Between the world-class steaks and the legendary hospitality from Shannon, Manning's is a 10/10. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Asked for medium rare- it was burnt/black on the outside and completely tasteless on the inside. It was super oily as well and lots of fat on it. The side of cheesy potatoes was drenched in oil- my partner didn't even finish it. Steak Bachemel sandwich was tasty but very messy. The fries were over fried so unenjoyable. Service was extremely slow even though they weren't busy. We waited around after we finished eating- for 15 minutes until I gave up and went and asked someone to ask our server for the check. I remember eating here once before many years ago but I forgot to review. I did remember it was about the same quality of food and service. Now I am documenting it and reminding my future self (and others?) to not come back!

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Service is quick! Food was also good. Bison Taretare was delicious especially with the sauce and the cilantro. I did wish the quail egg was a not over cooked. I think the yolk would have been a great addition to the creaminess. But that's just my preference. The Fort Game plate was good to share! Shared it with my wife. Bison had a rich and natural umami. They cook it so well! Venison was honestly our fav. Cooked so well and super tender. Had the compound better on it too so flavor was excellent. Went really well with their berry sauce. The quail was also cooked juicy and tender, but I feel like the teriyaki taste was unbalanced. Some bites were a lil too salty while others were just right! Potatoes (not pictured) were too salty for my taste but the carrots were super delicious! Great place for a date night and would recommend.

We were so lucky to get to come here for "free" as a treat from our friend. The atmosphere, the experience, the service and the food were all amazing. Very unique to Colorado. We started with a 1/2 liter pitcher of Prickly Pear Margaritas, shared across the 3 of us. Not only is it pretty to look at, it's also very tasty. Much more reasonable than to order 3 cocktails separately. We started with the Rocky Mountain Oysters, the batter was nicely done, light and airy. The RMO always has a chew, so if you're not a texture person, I'd recommend to skip it unless you've never tried it before. Def worth a try as it's a Colorado staple. We also tried the Josepha's Buffalo Empanadas, those were so yummy as well with the 2 salsas. Not everyone is a bone marrow fan but we really loved the Roasted Bison Marrow Bones, it did take extra time but it came to our table still sizzling, and really rich with the bread. Moving on to Main Course - I had the Incorrect Steak with fried egg, it was very tender and delicious. We also ordered the Gonzales Steak, yummy with the hatch green chiles. The Fort's Game Plate was a big platter of elk chop, buffalo sirloin medallion and a grilled teriyaki quail... you get to try them all. Favorite Mac and Cheese was so creamy... and we ordered the Spotted Dog Bread Pudding as a dessert to wrap up the birthday celebration. Overall it's a bit on the pricy side for all of the experience but we're really thankful to get to try so many things and add this to our Colorado experience.

The vibe is classic cozy steakhouse--dim lighting, comfortable booths, good for a casual night out. We kicked off with the shrimp cocktail, which was good: decent-sized chilled shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce. Asked for extra raw horseradish to really make it pop! The new bread offering was much better. Super-soft sweet rolls were an upgrade over the previous offering. For mains, we tried the ribsteak (bone-in) and the sirloin with mushrooms and truffle from the Winter Grill menu. Both were cooked to our requested temps (medium-rare), juicy enough, and the grilling was competent with a nice char. The ribsteak came with sautéed mushrooms that added some nice flavor. The sirloin featured cremini and shiitake mushrooms in a creamy truffle sauce, which was rich and indulgent--the sauce was probably the best part of the plate. That said, the quality of the meat itself felt a bit questionable; it was tender but lacked the deep, beefy flavor or marbling you'd hope for at this price point. More disappointingly, there wasn't much discernible difference between the ribsteak and the sirloin in terms of taste or texture--both felt pretty similar, which made the higher-priced ribsteak seem less worth it. We finished with the Billy Miner Pie, a classic here: mocha ice cream on chocolate cookie crust, topped with hot fudge and caramel. It's rich and satisfying--definitely a highlight of the meal. Our server was friendly and efficient, no complaints there, and the place wasn't overly busy. Overall, it's a reliable chain steakhouse option if you're in the area--good enough for what it is, but the main reason we come here is proximity. Solid, but room for improvement on the star of the show: the steaks.
