I stopped in yesterday for lunch and got the best of plate and it was VERY good. The birria taco was seriously one of the best versions of birria I've ever had. The whole plate felt light, even though there was an enchilada, make your own taco and the birria taco. I was also very pleased with the speed of service. Our server checked on us regularly, the food came out quickly and it was hot and delicious and the beers were delivered with the right amount of carbonation and the lime with the Mexican lager. I was already obsessed with Lady Nomada. What a treat to visit the Lakewood location with my friends and show them the glory that I experienced in Arvada. We spent a few hours here talking, eating, and drinking. The interior is SO cute, and customer service was great. I ordered my favorite Carne Asada Fries and Spicy Cucumber Margarita. My friends got queso for the table. Everything was delicious as expected. We parked in the garage nearby, I think attached to Target. Not sure what it's like right next to the restaurant. I had the Carne Asada bowl and the meat was pretty good, but there wasn't near enough sour cream or other sauces in order to make the bowl enjoyable it needed more liquid to bring it together. To be fair, I'm very picky about my Mexican food. Various other people at the table had some of the lunch tacos and they said they were pretty good. The accessibility was decent. There's no steps or barriers to entry and a variety of different seating types. The bathroom door was pretty heavy, but there was enough room for a wheelchair to maneuver once inside. Solid place if you are craving Mexican food! The drinks were tasty and strong! Now I'm curious about their margarita flight. We shared a quesadilla as an appetizer which tasted so fresh but also too filling so I couldn't eat much or my enchiladas which were great even as leftovers! This is my second time coming to a lady Nomada, the place is really cute, lots of natural light with big glass garage style doors that open up for an indoor outdoor feel on a warm day. We came in around 3 o'clock and had no problems being sat, there were just a few other tables. We weren't drinking, but I remember from last time that the drinks are really good. I opted to get just the chips and queso, happy hour, and my friend tried the birria fries. The chips and queso were pretty good, but the fries were missing a fresh component, maybe cilantro or some onion, and came out kind of cold. The fries were also underdone, they should've been more crispy to give the dish more depth of texture. Had a little shopping spree in Belmar and stopped at Lady Nomada for a a treat! Always order tacos when I come here and they never disappoint! Today I went with the grilled fish, carnitas, and mushroom taco with peanut sauce. Also added rice and beans and guacamole. This was my best food experience of the dozen times I've been here. The ingredients really popped today and I let them know. The only thing that could possibly top the freshness of the ingredients is the top notch service. My server, (Shyna), was attentive and listened to a story about my mom and how much she loved this place. You can tell when a server is genuine and caring and mine was most definitely! I needed to wait to order my mom's favorite tacos so I could bring them to her skilled nursing facility. When she brought me another Diet Coke she also brought out a dessert for me, thanked me for being a nice customer, and said it's on me. It was my favorite, Sopapillas and cinnamon ice cream. The restaurant has 3 distinct areas -- a good sized bar area, a dining room, and patio. The decor is bright and airy, primarily bright yellows, but has a modern feel. When we walked in, I was concerned about the music volume because of the baby, but it wasn't long before he rocked and swayed to the music in his high chair w/ a self-served kids chicken bowl and a scoop bib. Lady Nomada is in a lively outdoor mall so it was nice to walk around in the area. I definitely recommend a reservation as they were quite busy. The cocktails (and mocktails) were true perfection and very well balanced. The service was exceptional from the hostess, the bartender, and the wait staff. I tried two of the tacos: the fish taco and the fried avocado taco. I was not prepared for how good the fried avocado taco would be. It was expertly fried and seasoned. I came here with a coworker for dinner. Staff were friendly albeit a little awkward and a touch too overattentive. The restaurant is very bright and nicely decorated. Our server explained to us that they specialize in Baja Mexican cuisine, which tends to be a little fresher and brighter than Tex Mex faire. They give salsa and chips (you can upgrade to housemate fire roasted salsa) which is a nice touch because not all spots do this. I started with a toasted coconut margarita which sounded so interesting. The tangy tequila paired perfectly with the frozen coconut slush, with the toasted coconut slivers on top. Really tasty. There were a lot of great looking cocktails and mocktails on the menu. I went with the a la carte tacos and tried three different types: Baja fish, grilled fish, and mushroom. All were really amazing. The mushroom came with some kind of spicy sauce. The Baja fish was my favorite I think. Big, battered pieces of fish perfectly fried and crispy, moist and tender inside. I'm a total sucker for a good vibe and this place nailed it. The logo? So well done. The interior? Beautiful. Neon signs? Trendy in the best way. I don't know why people like this place so much. I have been here several times and either the service is off or the food is disappointing or the drink drinks are mostly mixer. My girlfriend and I went in the other day for happy hour. We ordered the quesadilla (which we've ordered before) and the chili rellenos +2 happy hour margaritas. The quesadilla, which used to be four little slices have been cut back to two little slices for the same amount of money. No sour cream no guacamole not even a little dollop of salsa. Just cheese and a 1/4 of a tortilla. The chili rellenos were three deep fried casings with just cheese inside no chilies because I opened them up. Just cheese and deep-fried dough. Also make sure that you check your waiters math because ours overcharged us and then copped an attitude because I corrected him. He also made an inappropriate comment about us ordering cocktails, which was uncalled for. He was pretty rude and unhospitable. read more

We always enjoy stopping by Lady Nomada for lunch when we're in the Arvada area. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are so friendly, it really makes for a welcoming experience. This visit was no exception. My son had the kid's taco with rice and beans, and we had the mushroom tacos (I wish more places got this creative with mushrooms!). We also ordered guacamole, which was good (a little slimy), but we weren't given many chips to go with it. We decided randomly to pop by Lady Nomada before we saw a movie. And this place really surprised me. We were able to get a pay-by-the-hour street parking spot close to both the theater and this place. The interior is pretty gorgeous with a modern and colorful take on mexican decor. Our server, Faleta, was the most amazing and brought a great energy to our table. She also had great recommendations. For drinks, we ordered the Elderflower Prickly Pear, Marisol, Margarita, and a Paloma. The Elderflower Prickly Pear, Faleta's rec, was absolutely delicious. This tequila based drink boasted prickly pear and elderflower tastes. It was refreshing and not too sweet. Had a nice flavor to it that compliments the tequila in it. The Paloma was pretty standard for a paloma, it was good. Same with the Margarita, it was good. Not too sour, which is something I've been encountering as of late. Now, my personal favorite, the Marisol was gorgeously garnished with a tropical leaf and flower. It was creamy but in the nice refreshing way. Using Marisol tequila, it melded pineapple, coconut, lime, and passion fruit in a short glass. Everything in this drink worked harmoniously together. It was tropical with an almost cooling sensation from the coconut cream. Now before our drinks and food came, we had a heaping of chips and salsa. They came us a decent amount, two baskets of chips and salsa for the four of us. This is where the one complaint comes in. The salsa that accompanied the chips was completely watery. When Faleta dropped it off, the salsa moved as if it was water in a glass. I ordered the Nomada Nachos as my entree, which came with a much better salsa, more chunky. The amount of nachos was actually a lot for one person, but that makes sense as it is an appetizer. My partner got the Baja Fish and that looked divine. Two huge pieces of fried fish on two tortillas. It was pretty good. The aioli worked for the fish. The other order was Steak Fajitas. This was a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. Absolutely mouth watering and savoring. Lady Nomada is a cute double date night spot, on the pricier side. It boasts a patio and gorgeous interior. I can't believe I've never written a review for Lady Nomada Belmar. It's one of our hands down, favorite Mexican places in Lakewood. And, to be fair, they are officially bring a coastal baja flavor. We used to drive to Arvada and were SO incredibly excited to see the Belmar location opened up. We've brought friends here who were new to the area and said they needed a great Mexican restaurant. We've come many times and as usual, sit at the bar. Recently with said friends, we sat at a booth. Same great service (which is usually not the case for places), same friendly staff, scrumptious food and just the right mix of attentiveness. Lady Nomada is one of those places you can bring friends and enjoy yourselves. We were laughing quite loudly at times, but fit right in with the laughter and conversations around us. We ordered chips and queso, a pitcher of the spicy margaritas this last time, and my go to, the Baja chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce. Oh my word, even writing this review makes me wanna go today.
