Great patio with lots of shade and Jo our server was amazing. She was very personable and attentive at just the right level. I was with longtime friends for a catch-up during their HH. We all had delicious Paloma's along with a few appetizers. Great time and will be back. read more

Looking at my feed, it has seemed lately that every Yelper but me has been trying Lady Nomada and enjoying it. We needed an early dinner in the Belmar area and I noticed the restaurant had a branch there, so we decided to check it out. What a smart decision that was! The space is absolutely beautiful with a large outdoor patio and a gorgeous interior which goes very successfully for a coastal Baja California vibe. Seating was very comfortable. The staff was particularly welcoming when we said it was our first visit. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We never felt neglected although the restaurant got extremely busy toward the end of our visit. There were many interesting drinks on the menu. I started with the Elderflower Prickly Pear Margarita. This was fresh, unusual, and delicious. A nice change from the typical margarita. I enjoyed it. The menu is not huge. It includes many of the usual suspects: a good selection of tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, a quesadilla, bowls, and some neat combination plates. We started with the usual chips and salsa. I also ordered the Guacamole. The chips were crispy and the salsa was excellent with a nice level of heat. The guacamole was fabulous. A large portion of very chunky avocado, beautifully seasoned. We attacked that with enthusiasm and scraped every speck out of the bowl. My girlfriend went with the Double Decker Taco Plate. This came with two huge, house-marinated, carne asada (steak) tacos, black bean puree, lettuce, jack and white cheddar, guajillo (red chili sauce) ranch, and pico--neatly served in a corn tortilla wrapped in a flour tortilla. There was also a dish of rice and black beans. I'm having trouble describing how delicious these tacos were. A perfect combination of flavors with meat that was very tender and extremely flavorful. No shortcuts here, just cooking from the heart. I wanted to try several things so I ordered the Nomada's Best of Plate. A Birria Taco, Chicken Enchilada (green sauce), and Crispy Carnitas (shredded, crisped, braised pork) plus rice and beans. Again, the flavors were amazing. This kitchen really understands low and slow. The meats were all tender, lucious, and deeply flavored. I enjoyed every bite. The portions were generous. We took home three boxes of leftovers and can't wait for lunch time so we can enjoy them. This is an exceptional restaurant, well-run in every aspect. There are three convenient locations around town: this one in Belmar, another in Olde Town Arvada, and a third in Central Park. What are you waiting for? Check this out now! read more

Disappointing and exclusionary service for our first visit. *date of service: 7/28/26 arrived at 5pm - parking ended at 6:01pm My child and I visited the Lakewood location and were the first table seated outdoors to the left of the patio. Unfortunately, the service we received was incredibly slow and left us feeling completely ignored. Shortly after we sat down, another group was seated next to us. When the waitress brought waters, I politely declined mine. Instead of returning to take our order, she skipped us entirely to take the neighbor's order first. A few minutes later, the manager came out to warmly welcome them, congratulate them on their first visit, and offer them free items. Despite it being our first time at the restaurant as well, the manager never acknowledged our table, never said hello, and completely ignored our presence as he walked past us, to enter a side door on the patio. Service remained slow throughout the night, and we were never even given the opportunity to order a second drink. Frustrated after extended wait times, we decided to cut our night short. I asked for the bill and an order of 3 birria tacos to go. The waitress took my card and immediately swiped it on a handheld device without showing me a total or a receipt first. Noticing my discomfort, she stated she would bring out a receipt. When the manager brought out our to-go food, he did not have a receipt. I had to ask for one, and he returned with a paper that only showed the date, time, and total amount--not an itemized breakdown of what I was charged. I had to ask a third time for an itemized receipt and requested he write his name on it. Then he finally asked if everything was okay, I waited until I had the proper receipt in hand to explain the entire situation calmly. He refused to write his name on the receipt. Clearly unprepared, he just repeatedly called out "ma'am" as we walked away. By the third ma'am, I firmly said have a good evening and left. We left feeling unwelcome and undervalued. Paid almost $100 for 2 people. As the tacos did have good flavor, the "guac" was basic, seemed like they just barely smashed some avocado's together and topped it off with a sprinkle of pepper & bell pepper? We ordered a big tub of it, left most of it. We will not be returning. read more

Lady Nomada - Mexican Kitchen - you can see how close the other table is to us, this is the space the manager kept walking past, to only talk to that table - Mexican Near Me - Lakewood, Colorado

Lady Nomada is just a few minutes from our apartment, and we honestly haven't had a bad experience here yet. It's definitely a more modern take on Mexican food, but everything we've had has been great. Whether it's happy hour, celebrating a birthday, or catching up with friends, this is one of our favorite spots!!! It feels a little more upscale without stretching the budget, which is hard to find We'll definitely keep coming back, and it's one of the first places we recommend to friends and family. read more

I was already obsessed with Lady Nomada. What a treat to visit the Lakewood location with my friends and show them the glory that I experienced in Arvada. We spent a few hours here talking, eating, and drinking. The interior is SO cute, and customer service was great. I ordered my favorite Carne Asada Fries and Spicy Cucumber Margarita. My friends got queso for the table. Everything was delicious as expected. We parked in the garage nearby, I think attached to Target. Not sure what it's like right next to the restaurant. Overall great experience! read more

We went here for a goodbye lunch for a colleague. They do have a lovely outdoor patio space and the guac is the star of the show. Other than that the food was not bad. Very much modern Tex Mex. I had the Carne Asada bowl and the meat was pretty good, but there wasn't near enough sour cream or other sauces in order to make the bowl enjoyable it needed more liquid to bring it together. To be fair, I'm very picky about my Mexican food. Various other people at the table had some of the lunch tacos and they said they were pretty good. The accessibility was decent. There's no steps or barriers to entry and a variety of different seating types. The bathroom door was pretty heavy, but there was enough room for a wheelchair to maneuver once inside. There's plenty of street parking and accessible parking close, although those are paid, there's free parking a little bit further away read more

Hip, friendly place with upbeat servers and definitely a cool vibe. We had the Tinga flautas and street corn while our other guests had queso, a taco plate, and a fish bowl. Nice flavorful food was professionally presented to us on the patio. The place is well managed and there appears to be a harmony amongst the staff that all leads to a good experience for the diner. We'll be back for sure; keep up the good work Lady Nomada read more

Solid place if you are craving Mexican food! The drinks were tasty and strong! Now I'm curious about their margarita flight. We shared a quesadilla as an appetizer which tasted so fresh but also too filling so I couldn't eat much or my enchiladas which were great even as leftovers! My boyfriend loved his fajitas and they had a lot to choose from. Also the place itself was super cute. Our server was also pretty attentive and friendly! The only thing we didn't like was how the cute pillows was so huge and bulky that we didn't have much room while sitting in the high tops that already didn't have much room, but our server was kind enough to take them away when we asked. Other than that great place! read more

This is my second time coming to a lady Nomada, the place is really cute, lots of natural light with big glass garage style doors that open up for an indoor outdoor feel on a warm day. We came in around 3 o'clock and had no problems being sat, there were just a few other tables. We weren't drinking, but I remember from last time that the drinks are really good. I opted to get just the chips and queso, happy hour, and my friend tried the birria fries. The chips and queso were pretty good, but the fries were missing a fresh component, maybe cilantro or some onion, and came out kind of cold. The fries were also underdone, they should've been more crispy to give the dish more depth of texture. We even added guac for an extra three bucks and to be honest $20 for this wasn't worth it This is a similar experience as I had last time, it's to me a place for light snacks, and drinks, not heavier plates read more

Had a little shopping spree in Belmar and stopped at Lady Nomada for a a treat! Always order tacos when I come here and they never disappoint! Today I went with the grilled fish, carnitas, and mushroom taco with peanut sauce. Also added rice and beans and guacamole. This was my best food experience of the dozen times I've been here. The ingredients really popped today and I let them know. The only thing that could possibly top the freshness of the ingredients is the top notch service. My server, (Shyna), was attentive and listened to a story about my mom and how much she loved this place. You can tell when a server is genuine and caring and mine was most definitely! I needed to wait to order my mom's favorite tacos so I could bring them to her skilled nursing facility. When she brought me another Diet Coke she also brought out a dessert for me, thanked me for being a nice customer, and said it's on me. It was my favorite, Sopapillas and cinnamon ice cream. You really need to try this combination for dessert! Decent size to share if you're on a date! Thank you Shyna! Did I mention the music is hip? read more

Really enjoyed our lunch here! Our server Jason (Gub) was fantastic, the tacos were incredible.

I stopped in yesterday for lunch and got the best of plate and it was VERY good. The birria taco was seriously one of the best versions of birria I've ever had. The whole plate felt light, even though there was an enchilada, make your own taco and the birria taco. I was also very pleased with the speed of service. Our server checked on us regularly, the food came out quickly and it was hot and delicious and the beers were delivered with the right amount of carbonation and the lime with the Mexican lager. I can't wait to come back and enjoy their patio and try out their happy hour. Seriously awesome spot! read more

Hadn't been in awhile. Happy to report food and service are still top notch. Staff recommended the lunch special, choose two of about 6 plates: I selected chicken quesadilla and a chicken tinga taco. Beverage is included! Chips n salsa held us over while each dish is made fresh. This salsa is NOT from New York City. Excellent! I put some on my quesadilla while the tinga taco is stuffed with pulled chicken and fresh pico. I hope you like pickled onions as much as I do. A side of black beans and fluffy rice makes a nice palate cleanser between bites. An excellent lunch option I'll return for. Thanked our server who suggested the special; lunch under $40 for two read more

Located 2 blocks from the Hyatt House Lakewood/Belmar, you can walk in 3 minutes. Came with my husband, nephew, his wife and almost 1.5 year old son. The restaurant has 3 distinct areas -- a good sized bar area, a dining room, and patio. The decor is bright and airy, primarily bright yellows, but has a modern feel. When we walked in, I was concerned about the music volume because of the baby, but it wasn't long before he rocked and swayed to the music in his high chair w/ a self-served kids chicken bowl and a scoop bib. It was pretty easy to have a conversation even with the music. We had 2 servers (shift change). Both were pleasant and friendly and made an effort to accommodate special requests. Happy hour is 3-5 Mon- Fri with good discounts on their most popular drinks and on appetizers. We tried the quench-thirsting House Margaritas, chips and salsa, and the Mini Chile Relleno, served in a fried wonton wrapper For dinner, the adults ordered plates of grilled fish tacos, baja fish tacos, and carne asada. The Baja fish tacos were probably the best I've tasted. They were crunchy outside and moist inside; not weighted down with an oily, stiff batter. All taco plates were served with rice and black beans; I had double beans, no rice instead. Also ordered an ample sized fish bowl. Prices were reasonable, especially with the happy hour discount. Celebrating our neices birthday, they brought a fabulous Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie with ice cream, strawberries and sauce to share The only thing missing for me, coming from CA, was the Mexican vibe. Still the food, drinks, service and ambience were quite nice! I will likely return here on my next visit to town. read more

Very good food across the board. We shared several delicious appetizers (birria fries were my favorite) and lots of tacos. The tacos were all creative and tasty though a bit expensive, priced each and with any sides costing extra -- based on menu photos, looks like that a change just in the last few months. The happy hour was decent, shaving a few dollars off many interesting drink prices. Really great environment inside extending to a patio in nice weather. Service was all friendly and attentive. read more

I liked Lady Nomada a whole lot more than I thought I was going to. Our server., Prianna, was awesome. She got her order out quickly and she was super nice and friendly the deck. The decor inside is super cute and it looks like they put a lot into the build out. The food was really good too. I had the shrimp bowl and it was delicious. My son had a single fish taco and he loved it. My husband had the cheese quesadillas. They were great and then we had one of the nonalcoholic sparklers. My biggest surprise was that my eight month old couldn't get enough of the food. I mean, she really cleaned up. We will definitely be back. read more

My Waitress Peyton, came over to check how we were - I said; "There's a small problem. My mouth keep having organisms in the middle of your restaurant!" She Howled! Then in a few moments I heard some other giggles around the bar. Lady Nomada Restaurants are know for their food, yet what I do not see is mentions of how "BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED" every section of this restaurant has been carefully appointed. Tori was the first young lady I met, who was enthusiastic in showing me the place and mentioning some exceptions regarding the art. In the larger room, the walled art is motion augmented with sea turtles and more. The service is outstanding, with the utmost knowledge of their Marvelous menu choices, and what customers wish to order! They ASK!! And commit their expertise to each individual person!! Awesome service rarely found! When I encounter a restaurant with such amazing menues, I name it "Drool Based Delicious!" Allow me to back step a moment: when entering Lady Nomada, the signage outside was fully hidden by the trees, (great for shade, but). I was cautious, my erroneous muse were quickly dispersed. The Decor is absolutely prepossessing beautifully committed everywhere: The walls, floors, seating and comfort for their customers. i had to take lots of photos prior to sitting, while Pretty Eyes was already waiting in our cozy booth. Last, the FOOD!! OHHH YUM! I would lick the plate and bowls if I could. Very imaginative, delightfully delicious, vegan, veggies, meat, everything imaginable and more. Lady Nomada is in a lively outdoor mall so it was nice to walk around in the area. I definitely recommend a reservation as they were quite busy. The cocktails (and mocktails) were true perfection and very well balanced. The service was exceptional from the hostess, the bartender, and the wait staff. I tried two of the tacos: the fish taco and the fried avocado taco. I was not prepared for how good the fried avocado taco would be. It was expertly fried and seasoned. I also tried the black beans which had a lot of flavor as well. My friend had a bowl and actually went back the following day to get another. I think it's safe to say we enjoyed our dining experience. read more

Not great food or service. Heavy bar chairs with fur on the seat?!?! Nasty feeling when sitting on acrylic fur product

The restaurant vibes itself are nice and clean. I enjoyed the seating options as well as lighting. Our server was kind and attentive. She brought our food and drinks out quickly even though the restaurant was pretty packed! The food is good. However, it's not that authentic. People who come here , expect to pay a bit more. It's a little pricey. Their complimentary salsa is extremely watery and has no flavor. Hence the lack of authenticity at this place. We ordered the chicken fajitas and again, they were fine, but not much different than Chili's fajitas for instance, except the only difference is the price tag. We also had some elotes which were your typical dish you would expect. The drinks were good! Not watered down and strong enough! Overall, if you want to go for the vibes and location, do it! Expect to pay a bit more though. The food again is mediocre but not authentic and feels overpriced. read more

this place is great!! came here with my boyfriend and loved it. I got the chicken quesadilla and we shared a margarita. What a vibe!

I came here with a coworker for dinner. Staff were friendly albeit a little awkward and a touch too overattentive. The restaurant is very bright and nicely decorated. Our server explained to us that they specialize in Baja Mexican cuisine, which tends to be a little fresher and brighter than Tex Mex faire. They give salsa and chips (you can upgrade to housemate fire roasted salsa) which is a nice touch because not all spots do this. I started with a toasted coconut margarita which sounded so interesting. The tangy tequila paired perfectly with the frozen coconut slush, with the toasted coconut slivers on top. Really tasty. There were a lot of great looking cocktails and mocktails on the menu. I went with the a la carte tacos and tried three different types: Baja fish, grilled fish, and mushroom. All were really amazing. The mushroom came with some kind of spicy sauce. The Baja fish was my favorite I think. Big, battered pieces of fish perfectly fried and crispy, moist and tender inside. The pickled slaw made for a perfect crunch. The tortillas were super fresh. Really phenomenal tacos, some of the best I've had. I would for sure return and try other things. read more

I don't know why people like this place so much. I have been here several times and either the service is off or the food is disappointing or the drink drinks are mostly mixer. My girlfriend and I went in the other day for happy hour. We ordered the quesadilla (which we've ordered before) and the chili rellenos +2 happy hour margaritas. The quesadilla, which used to be four little slices have been cut back to two little slices for the same amount of money. No sour cream no guacamole not even a little dollop of salsa. Just cheese and a 1/4 of a tortilla. The chili rellenos were three deep fried casings with just cheese inside no chilies because I opened them up. Just cheese and deep-fried dough. Also make sure that you check your waiters math because ours overcharged us and then copped an attitude because I corrected him. He also made an inappropriate comment about us ordering cocktails, which was uncalled for. He was pretty rude and unhospitable. read more
