As always, la P'tite Framboise is delicious. They have a fantastic reliable brunch, everything on the menu is fantastic. The service is always very kind and the space is warm and inviting. Very bistro. I've visited quite a few times and am sure I'll be back again.

We used to love this restaurant for its great food, reasonable pricing, and casual but classy ambiance. We'd go for a nice weekday meal. But the pricing has steadily increased for the last couple years, it is now a restaurant we'd go for a special occasion. The last time we went, the place was loud! We couldn't hear one another. The food was still excellent but we couldn't enjoy It because of the noise. It is not the quiet French restaurant we'd used to love anymore.

Lovely place for a birthday brunch. Cozy French bistro atmosphere. The owner personally greeted each table and stopped by during the meal to see how everything was. Good food and wonderful service.

Myself and my significant other decided to stop by here after seeing a post on instagram. We walked in on a Tuesday afternoon. We made reservations the day prior because we didn't know if it would be busy. We were here at 12:08 and got seated before our reservation time (12:15). We started off with a bottle of Acqua Panna, which was served in a wine glass (BONUS POINTS.) and a Belgian chocolate hot chocolate. WOW. It was absolutely delicious extremely RICH and came with a side of house made whipped cream, which definitely hit the spot. It was thick and dense. (Non dairy options are not available). We also were served bread to start. For appetizers we had a Nutella crepe, however there were no bananas at the moment so I had extra strawberries in mine. The Tarte a L'oignon, which was a cute play on Soupe a L'oignon. It was delicious, and served hot. We had the Sole Meunière Traditionnelle which was a filet of sole, with noisette potatoes, French string beans and lemon brown butter sauce. The fish easy to cut through with just the side of the fork. There wasn't too much lemon, but it was buttery and full of flavor. We also had the Sandwich Bouchere which had sliced filet mignon, mozzarella, on a baguette (without pickled red onions). The filet was tender, beautifully cooked au jus. You can tell everything is fresh, and food was well executed. Everything was vibrant, and flavors popped. Something to note; the brunch is strictly on the weekend, however they are working on bringing the brunch vibe to the week day. Our server Jaqueline was great! We will be back

Fantastic dinner at LPF. The hostess, the owner Alessandra was so gracious. She kept coming over to our table to make sure everything was ok. Our server Jackie was friendly, attentive and accommodating. We started with traditional French appetizers, escargot and onion soup. Some of the best we ever had. For entrees we had the coquilles et crevettes, shrimp and scallops with leeks, mushrooms and corn in a truffle cream sauce which was so flavorful and the hanger steak with bordelaise sauce, chive mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly, very tender. We also enjoyed the cocktails and the bread came with butter and pate which I love. The ambiance is very charming. This restaurant is a real gem.

Such a beautiful cafe to visit. I watched an Instagram reel and that's how we got there. My best friend made reservations for my birthday yesterday at 1 and we were seated promptly. The server was good but we waited a very, very long time for our food and then waited again for the hot chocolate for even longer. They came to apologize a few times, explaining that they ran out but it ruined the moment as our desserts were there before the Belgian hot chocolate. These should have been comped, that's how long we waited. The ambiance was beautiful but not the wait for everything. It feels as if you are elsewhere in a good way, but the waiting for everything was no good.

I used to come here 15 years ago more during the previous ownership. In my opinion it was better then. The food was good but not great and I don't feel a need to come here again anytime soon. I had the permetier and it was good but nothing special. That was true for all of the food we tried: the tagliatelle beef borboignon, the cote de beuf, the garlic soup, the French onion soup. We came with another couple and I also forgot how small the restaurant is and how often you hear sirens go by on a Saturday night. They decorate it well with the mirrors and decor to try to hide it but it's very small and the parking situation isn't that convenient. The service is very friendly though and they were cool with how we lingered until closing catching up. The wine pours were also decent. My friends said they enjoy the brunch a lot more.

I ended up at La P'tite Framboise after leaving a disappointing experience nearby -- and what a blessing in disguise. This cozy, family-owned French spot turned everything around. Even though it was busy, we were warmly greeted and seated at the bar. From the start, the service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They brought out warm baguette with butter and the most delicious chicken liver mousse -- I was hooked. Then they surprised us with a complimentary little plate of olives and freshly scooped cheese (straight from a giant cheese wheel!) as a snack with our drinks. Like... how thoughtful and charming is that? We had escargot and clams for apps, then halibut and duck breast for mains. The portions were generous, the duck was perfectly medium rare and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Everything was flavorful and beautifully done. The drinks were also on point -- simple, balanced, and consistent. Honestly, this place rivals -- if not beats -- some of the French restaurants I've been to in Manhattan. La P'tite Framboise is a true hidden gem in Port Washington. I'm already planning my next visit.

This was my first visit with my mom and partner, and we left very pleased with the service and the food. Our server was Cameron, and she was so attentive, polite, and good humored. We started with the SALADE CHÈVRE which was delicious! Following that we had French onion soup and escargot. Exquisite! For our main courses we had pork chops (no applesauce for those familiar with the Brady Bunch), POULET FARCI D'ÉTE and, TAGLIATELLE AU BOEUF BOURGUIGNON. These dishes were well done and the presentation was pleasing to the eye. Finally, we finished it off with coffee and a TARTE FRAMBOISE. This was well worth the 45 minute drive from Long Beach, and we look for another opportunity to dine here again in the near future! Tout était si bien !

I finally made it to La Petite Framboise, in Port Washington, I first heard about this resturant several years ago in the Dine LI FB group. I'm so happy to have tried it, it's my new favorite place. The food was beyond delicious, the place and ambiance is so charming, and the service received from our server Lucia was spot on. If you want to be transported to Paris for an afternoon or evening, this is the place to go. Bon appetit'

It's been too long since I've been back. I'm glad it's still as good as I remember. Complimentary warm baguettes with butter and pate when you settle in. Menu remains unchanged for the most part... Think PEI mussels, French onion soup, escargot and steak tartare just to name a few favorites. Entrees such as Duck l'orange and steak au poivre are classics. They offer daily specials and on Sunday's, they feature the cassoulet. I'm going to have to return to try; it's a heavy dish so it's best during the colder months. Jacqueline was our waitress for the evening. She was attentive and checked on us often even as we waited for our food throughout the evening. The kitchen was running a little behind we noticed from the surrounding tables still waiting on entrees. Good thing we ordered appetizers (and we were never rushed to finish eating those) - because there was a bit of a wait for the entrees for everyone that night. It was a pretty packed house. When you're dining in French cuisine, Escargot seems to be a must, this one didn't disappoint. Butter and olive oil was the base. Sinfully good. Also we ordered the burrata with a delightful butternut squash. It was excellent! Onion Tart was a classic and great for sharing. Onto the entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed my hangar steak. The surprise was the "green" mashed potatoes... Sweet and buttery. Funny because it was green. Duck L'Orange was a favorite at the table, tender and juicy. The hearty paella was the perfect entree for the seafood lover; quite the generous portion too. It was a lot. I don't know how but we somehow managed to pack in dessert after all that food. Profiteroles, sorbet and lava cake - all were good. I totally recommend the lava cake if you want to indulge. But the sorbet was my favorite just because it was refreshing after such a heavy and indulgent meal. I enjoyed my entire meal minus the wait time. And I totally overate ... Worth it!! (Do make a reservation... It just gets so busy at random times).

Wanted to try a new brunch spot and we loved it. As soon as you step in you are greeted by the host and it feels like you have stepped into a French cafe. Loved the decor. Highly reccommend getting reservations. Food was delicious and we were stuffed. There is a municipal parking lot just a few steps away. Its also free on the weekends. Will def be back.

There's also a separate lounge and bar area if you want to skip the formal dining room and just want light tapas and drinks. Their website says everything is made in house including the desserts. I had dinner here once before but it's been a hot minute since (my pre-Yelp days). This visit was for a friend's birthday and I wanted to introduce French cuisine to her. It was a brisk night out but nice and warm inside. Parking lot is located in the rear of the shopping plaza where this restaurant is located. Onto the food: we started with cocktails and ordered wine to pair with our dinner. For starters, we ordered the poached artichoke gratinee. The presentation was quite pretty, seasoned with chives, parsley, and Parmesan crumbs. I love most foods with cheese! Not shy about that! We also ordered the Hudson Valley foie gras, paired with a port poached pear and honey served with a cranberry brioche. It's an acquired taste that I really enjoy but if you're not into liver, then this dish is not for you. My friends never had foie gras so I ordered this to introduce it to them. This was also the swap since they didn't want escargot (overplayed by reputation for the cuisine). The third appetizer we chose was the crispy octopus. So many flavors in that plate, think olives, red pepper hummus and potatoes served with it. This was a great shareable dish and the dish was delicious as well as appetizing. For dinner: we shared all three entrees, 1) Herb crusted Rack of lamb, which I ordered medium temp. Divine! 2) Veal Chatelaine had a nice chestnuts and sherry sauce, very tender, and 3) Filet of Sole en croute, which the fish was moist and tucked inside the pastry shell. A bit thicker pastry than expected but the first was nicely seasoned. For dessert as I said, it was a friends' birthday...so despite all that food, we ordered three desserts to share as well. The Pistachio Tartufo, the Tiramisu and the creme brulee. All were delicious for the flavor profiles they were but I definitely preferred the creme brulee. The Pistachio Tartufo was really good - packed a lot of flavor. The tiramisu was light and airy.

I ordered UberEats from them before and was blown away by the tremendous offerings and generous portions. I decided to dine in and it was even better! The restaurant is located on the busy Northern Blvd between Morgan and Glenwood. The inside has a 19th century French ambiance, decorated with French posters, carpeted floors and a cozy warm dining area. Don't worry about the never ending traffic noise, commotion , and construction coming from outside. The calm and peaceful ambiance along with the music playing in the restaurant canceled out all the exterior noise. I opted in for their lunch buffet, which offered a ton of food for an amazing $18.95 deal which you can hardly find in this day and age. The restaurant gave a nice basket of warm bread with a generous amount of butter in a ramekin followed by a really good Tunisian salad with a little bit of everything. (fresh greens, cooked carrots, chickpea salad, diced cucumbers peppers and their take on the Ratatouille-- really good) I was given the option of getting their daily soup or the French Onion Soup with an up charge. I took the French option soup without any hesitation. Last time I had a good French onion soup was back when I attended college in upstate. Glad I got to try the one from here. The onion soup has an abundance of flavor with a generous amount of melted cheese and onions. The buffet selections were at the table. It came with two entrees (a chicken and a beef) cooked vegetables, mussels, mixed rice, cheese selection and slices bread cake. The entrees vary each day so be sure to call in and check. The chicken was moist, and juicy, served with a mushroom gravy. Similar to a Chicken Marsala dish. The stewed beef with mushrooms was nice and soft. The veggies included carrots and onions. The mussels were cooked to perfection, simmered in a nice buttery sauce. The meal also includes a cup of coffee or tea. What a great way to finish the meal. Marie was super nice and friendly. She gave me some insights on the food and the different menus they have on different days. A great establishment going strong for 47 years! Thank you Marie for everything. We ordered the bronzino and steak and especially the steak was incredible. We also had the fall salad which they had thoughtfully put in two plates. Again amazing perfection of taste with crunchiness of the roasted nut. I'm not drinking alcohol right now but they had two zero proof wines from Tuscany that was pretty good. Overall my experience was 10 out of 10. Really impressed.

Amazing from start to finish. Started off with their…read morespecial, the garlic herbed bone marrow and bacon and the sweet potato gnocchi. The bone marrow was INCREDIBLE. I wish it wasn't just a special but a main stay because I'd definitely order that each and every visit. It was that good. I was apprehensive about the gnocchi since im not a big gnocchi fan in general but so many people have sung of it's praises so I decided to try it. Easily one of the best dishes I've had this year. The flavors were so perfectly balanced. It taste of the toasted sweet potato gnocchi was something I didn't expect but was pleasantly surprised. Kept it more simple for entrees because the starters were so rich and indulgent. We had the filet mignon and the steak sandwich. Both perfectly portioned and delicious. Ended with the stroopwafel cheesecake, it wasn't too sweet which was nice. The service was great, I love how the manger was so hands on and checking in with tables. There was an older couple nearby celebrating their anniversary and the manager came over and surprised them with a mini bottle of champagne and congratulated them. That really was so thoughtful! Definitely top tier care and service.

Big pot, loaded with flavor, and honestly enough to make you question ordering anything else. Seafood tastes fresh across the board, and the sauces actually matter here (not an afterthought). Bread basket is dangerous--crispy outside, and soft inside The vibe is classic Long Island "upscale but loud." Red booths, stained glass accents, packed room. Great energy if you're out with friends, less ideal if you're trying to have a conversation. It gets noisy--no way around that. Service was solid--attentive without hovering, which is what you want when you're juggling a pot of mussels and drinks. Only knock: it's pricey. But to be fair, you're paying for quality seafood and a pretty unique Belgian bistro experience (and a massive beer/cocktail program).
