It's a great place to go after over a year. The place is…read moregood, the atmosphere is good, the service is good. But the question is... How's the food? We ordered a tomato sauce huge meatballs, seafood linguini & all dressed pizza. They are okay, nothing really surprising, I mean I didn't order any specialties to begin with, right? I find the meat balls are a bit too salty, the tomato sauce doesn't balance it out. Seafood linguini was also a bit salty, it's literally the same sauce with a pinch of sour taste. Pizza, its a super thin pizza, I would prefer to have a little bit more cheese but that's my taste I originally thought they use wooded oven but sadly it is not, so it's really missing the Smokey flavour. Generally speaking, the experience is nice, the waitress took care of us and I see they constantly wiping the area to ensure sanity and cleanness. The price is a bit high for the type of food and the quality. But hey, let's support locals!

The pizza was very tasty. Pepperoni/Mushrooms. Well done & cooked correctly. The serving staff was a little off. Particularly the follow up. I'll never get here again but I'd go here if I were.

Once we had decided to eat here, we were quickly seated in the outdoor seating. Their menu offered lots of American favorites--burgers & pizzas--but I wanted my poutine. I ordered their poutine viande fumée (a.k.a. Schwartz smoked meat poutine)! The meat was a bit salty, but it wasn't unbearable. It could be compared to the flavor of corned beef hash. Definitely would recommend dining with them!

Our server was friendly came and took our order and dropped off our food but we ever saw him after that. I was so thirsty he never came back with more water or to see if we needed more drinks so that was disappointing. As for the food some the worst I've had in Montreal for the week I was there eating out every lunch and dinner. It says it's a pizza place with a few pub style things My parents each had a pizza that came out pale and gummy, undercooked. My mum had chicken it tasted of nothing, my dad had the smoked meat it had some flavor but not much. I had the smoked meat sandwich. It came in the smallest roll ever, like a soup roll size, the rest of the plate was 75% fries. Luckily it tasted good with mustard etc. The inside looked cool with the open stone walls and the patio was nice to sit out on a sunny day. I wouldn't rush back to this place.

The cheese pizza was the best thing we ordered (had 6 different plates) but even that tasted like cheap cheese sprinkled on top and ok dough. Our experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, especially considering the price. It is…read morean expensive restaurant, and for what we paid, we expected much better quality and more flavorful food. I ordered a Margherita pizza, and my husband ordered the salmon with a side. Unfortunately, neither of our main courses was good. The food was quite bland and did not meet our expectations. The positive part was the appetizer and dessert that came with my husband's meal. He chose the charcuterie, which was delicious, and the two cannoli for dessert were also very good. However, the main courses were the biggest disappointment. We also ordered the house wine, which was the least expensive option at $58.00. Once you add tax and tip, it is no longer exactly an inexpensive option. As for the service, we also had an uncomfortable experience. When the waitress was speaking to the person sitting to my left, she would lean toward her and practically lean into my personal space, almost over my plate. The same thing happened when she spoke to the person sitting next to my husband. I feel she could have kept a little more distance and been more mindful of the guests' personal space, her name Jeanne. Another issue was the noise level. The restaurant is extremely loud because of how many people are talking. It was so noisy that we practically had to shout to have a conversation with the person sitting next to us, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. Overall, there were a few positives, such as the charcuterie and the cannoli, but considering the price, the quality of the main courses, the wine, the noise level, and some of the service issues, I don't feel the experience was worth what we paid. We simply expected much more for the price.

Clearly looking very different from when my aunt remembers from over 30 years ago, the place is now a chic bistro, but the food remains the same quality. When the owner, Anthony, heard of our visit, he came out to meet the Vancouverite and chat with us, and he was lovely and charming! Down 1 star though because their delivery menu and dine in menu vary, and my mum, who was hoping for a poutine, was told they couldn't serve it in the dining room, which we thought was odd, but she did enjoy her carbonara instead.

Great for an afternoon lunch outside. If this review were JUST about the food, I'd give it 5 stars. Delicious! I think it's safe to say that their pastas come very close to the authentic dishes you find in Italian homes. Their pizza is also delicious overall, but there's something about than very thin and crispy crust that has your mouth watering after the first bite! Great selection of appetizers too. 10/10 for alcohol. Awkward staff. The waiter attempted too many jokes & didn't get the message when no one laughed. Water wasn't refilled regularly. Lack of friendliness too overall (the "I hate my job" attitude). Regardless - this place is guaranteed to gain more & more popularity in the Laval area!

Our server was very pleasant. We started off with a half Caesar salad each and then we shared the Dei Compari pizza. Also we ordered a pint of Moretti The salad was the perfect size and just the right amount of dressing. I don't usually have the croutons because they can be chewy but these were very crispy The pizza was delicious! The toppings were great and the crust was soft and chewy in a good way This pizza was supposed to have Italian sausage on it but neither of us tasted it nor saw it. Also we received the salad and then maybe 30 seconds later the pizza. We were sitting at a table that couldn't have more than two people so when the pizza arrived we had to move items around so we could eat both at the same time When we finished our salad the bowls sat there through the whole meal. There were at least three servers here so I thought one of them could have come and removed the bowls to give the table some breathing room The food was great; the service needs to be improved.

We were here as walk-in for 4 people on a weeknight and there wasn't a wait. We had the: - large gnocchi with ricotta and herb pesto to share - large homemade ravioli (chef's special) to share - margherita pizza - simplicy, 4 cheese, pesto pizza - they added some free pizza bread for us to wipe up the sauces from the pasta - plus their house lemonade The food was great and the service excellent. The time between ordering and the pasta was around 10 mins. Very quick, fresh, and hot. They provided plates to share and we got down to it. The portions are good and very saucy. Save the pizza crusts to mop up any sauce! While we were there, there were lots of pickups/deliveries and other patrons coming in and out. It was a pretty popular local spot. The ambience is chic modern with dark woody themes. It's a nice a social house feel and the windows gives you a great view to people watch. I went for the Mediterranean pizza--a wild, briny, beautiful mess. Rapini, olives, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon zest... it was like someone condensed the Amalfi coast into a perfect thin crust. Salty, zesty, slightly bitter in the best way--this pie slaps if you've got the palate for bold flavors. MAMMA MIA! Deliciosso! Finocchio! Service? Sharp. Atmosphere? Grown-up but not uptight. Stella isn't trying to reinvent the pizza wheel--it's just spinning it better than most.

Free parking and it was completely packed. Certainly a good sign of a nice restaurant. We arrived 10 min early but the table was delayed by the last round of patrons. We ordered pizzas, Panozzo (big size pizza pocket stuffed with ham, eggplants, and mozzarella), calamari, cheese, a few fettuccine, and a couple of Martini. Among those items, pizzas stood out pretty well. Not only the taste and size but also the toppings as well as the firewood aroma. Beautifully done. Highly recommended. Cool ambiance for dining with great music. Great vibe. The servers were nice and friendly.
