I came to the place in high hopes to find goodies for my puppy's birthday and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT . I wish all the dogs in the world could experience a happy birthday. They have so many cute and real looking treats and a lot of cute accessories and toys your pet can enjoy. The owner is incredibly sweet and kind I wish this business the best success I hope you stay in business for a long time so my puppy can keep enjoying every birthday .
This is a Mexican inspired dog bakery, but they also sell cute dog toys, hats and clothes. It is ever so cute and they keep it pretty clean, doggies can bring in junk from the street, but they get to it. It is just an adorable place to get your dog a treat or even a cake and yes, you can special order cakes. Can I say they are tasty--I am not a dog. My babies love pulling up to the bakery. I admit I tasted a cookie and of course it is not sweet, but it was not terrible, after all they are not made for me. Their cakes are just the best. My babies also love any cookie. One of my dogs will eat anything, but my St. Bernard is a snob and very picky. She loves everything there and this is a dog who only eats fresh home made food. I swear she know the microwave and just looks at me like NEVER. The service is great. They love animals and they seem to love their job. Parking is free and it is never crowded. They will be delivering soon, maybe now, I am not sure.
The parking situation here kinda sucks, so just be prepared to wait around a bit or walk. When we walked inside it was also pretty stuffy. I'm not sure if the AC was out or what, but it definitely felt warm in there. That being said, I love all the pet stuff they sell. They have a ton of clothes, toys, beds, and leashes for animals. The treat selection is also hilarious and adorable at the same time. They have pan, cookies, cupcakes, cakes, churros, and even tamales for dogs... like your dog can basically have a whole fiesta I got my dog a birthday cake and a beer cookie, and he absolutely loved both of them. Just a little warning: the colored frosting can stain, so be careful if your dog is eating it on carpet or light fabric. Overall it's a really fun place if you want to spoil your pup.
What I love about this bakery is that they offer so many wonderful events to support their community and customers. Not only is this dog bakery fantastic, but the bakery items are on point! Brought my dog in for an event and it was so much fun. It was great to meet so many owners who are equally obsessed with their pets as I am. The staff is so helpful and sweet. They gave me so many great menu items recommendations for my dogs to try. Prices are reasonable and the only difficulty I had was trying to limit myself from not buying up everything. Very dog friendly. Definitely will be back. Parking isn't too bad as the shop is located in a shopping center on the corner. Highly recommend checking out this place!
what a gem! i've purchased a few cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and treats here for my dogs. if the owner is there, she will customize your cake and even write your dogs name on it! i believe everything is reasonably priced but i think there's no budget when it comes to our pets lol. the store looks like a literal bakery and even has a play area that you can bring your pets to. there's also a background for a photo opportunity to pose your dogs. i think it's such a cute touch. they also sell collars, leashes, clothing, hats, and other packaged treats. such a cute shop that i think you and your pet will love.
Looking for some pan dulce for your furry friend checkout La Pawnaderia. Don't be mistaken you won't find bollios here for your frijoles. All the treats here are specifically made for dogs with safe ingredients for them. Plenty to choose from like at your local panadería. Cakes are also sold here too. The place also has apparel and accessories for your pup. A unique place to find dog treats you don't find at pet stores. Support local and Latina owned dog bakery. I will be picking up a cake for my furry little friend in the future from here.
We have gone twice to La Pawnaderia. Most recently for their cakes! Our dogs loved it!! It was the cutest design. Just make sure to read their instructions, they're pretty clear but you do need to read their directions when you plan to order because they have certain restrictions on how to order/extra fees that apply if warranted. They also have party hats, leashes, cute bandanas for the fur babies. Cookies! Such a cute shop.
Definitely need the half stars cause I wish I can give them 4.5 stars. On Super Bowl Sunday which happened to be my dog's 3rd bday, they had a large inventory of assorted dog treats and even some that were Bad Bunny decorated. I'll always come back for those special days and would recommend this place to all fur baby owners.
My Vinny loved it here, great spot to bring your furr babies! We brought our doggie here for his birthday to enjoy some treats and check out the spot! They have an awesome variety of doggy treats, clothing, sweets, and beverages! They also make amazing birthday cakes. The spot is well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, attentive, and polite. We love it here and so did Vinny! We'll definitely be back and tell family and friends.
I recently visited this pretty neat doggy shop. They have so much cute stuff, to dog clothes and dog cowboy/girl hats that are so cute btw. Couldn't be happier with the cake I ordered. When I picked it up it was perfect. Just be aware that the box might touch the decor on the way home (my fault). It was an easy fix with some utensils so the gaps weren't too obvious in the photos. Luckily I took a shot of it at pickup. I had to refrigerate it overnight and it was still good next day no discoloration. I've ordered dog cakes from other places that required consumption within hours of picking up. No worries from here. And the dogs LOVED it. I have two smaller dogs and I had to slice the cake so they could eat it. So it was plenty for both of them. Neither dog had any GI issues so I'll be back this week for a second cake! Worth the drive to pick it up. And the place is adorable and has photo op setups for your pup.
My dog loved the cupcake. The cookie not so much. It was a little too hard for his tiny teeth. We will definitely go back for more cupcakes.

If you're a dog parent, you HAVE to add La Pawnaderia to your list. I seriously couldn't stop smiling the entire time I was there. Imagine walking into a traditional panadería... except everything is made just for your pup. From adorable pan dulce-inspired treats to the cutest little churro-shaped goodies, every detail is so creative and thoughtfully done. My favorite had to be the "PAWcífico" beer which is actually beef broth served in a mini beer bottle, and it's honestly one of the cutest things I've ever seen for dogs. They also have the outfits, accessories, toys, and gifts for your furry best friend. The whole shop is adorable! If you're looking for a special treat, this place is such a fun experience. It's one of those local gems that makes you appreciate small businesses even more. Safe to say... my dog was living their best life, and I'll definitely be back for more pawn dulce. read more

To start, I messaged them on their Instagram page ahead of placing an order asking questions about their order process regarding how to explain my theme to them. I was placing my order weeks in advance. I never received a response, and that should have been my first my clue to go with my intuition and not order with them. But based on pictures they have posted, I thought I would be happy, so I proceeded. I ordered a small custom cake (about $56 ), and I uploaded my theme picture with my order saying our colors were white and blue. I did specify that I was giving some creative freedom but I wanted it to stay with the theme, because I really had no idea in mind for what I wanted it to look like. When I picked it up, I honestly was in shock and had no words, so I just took it and left. When I got home, and inspected it further I was disappointed with it because it's not blue but turquoise and doesn't match at all. The writing is so sloppy you can't make out the 5, and it looks very feminine. The only element from our theme that's on the cake is flowers, on the top and the sides. He's a boy, they could have pulled the bones from the theme and maybe a flower or so but all flowers is a bit odd. I tried calling them three times, and left voicemail, to see if they could at least fix the writing on it. I haven't heard back, and here I am on his actual party day left with this $56 cake for his party and pictures, that looks nothing like the cakes on their instagram. Will not be going back. A Ruff life.. is said to be a dogs life. But after you see this, I'm not so sure. Went out to LA for a trip and was searching for something to bring my pups back. To cheer them up right. We found out about this location called LA Pawnaderia. For non spanish speakers PANADERIA is a bakery. It's located down in Downey, in a small strip shop. They have parking outside. So it's a small cute shop, I looked up the site they host pawties for the furry homies. And they make special cakes and of course treats. The treats that they had that day were, Bone broth beers, pawndulce, puercito cookies, masa pawn, and some other baked goods. I love my dogs so yeah couldn't feel guilty about taking them there own box. The staff were dope, friendly answered any questions about the goods. Buy them a few, poor fury fools need them. read more
Such a cute place! The front parking is a small lot but there is a bigger lot right next to it and street parking. Going inside it was super cute they seem to have an event going on. It's my Dog's birthday coming up so I wanted to stop by and see what goodies they have. I bought about 3 treats and this cute "Dog Beer" which is just bone broth I was told. The price is really good. All items {4 total} came out to $15ish dollars. My dog is usually super sensitive to treats so I gave him one immediately so if he needed to use the restroom or react I was able to monitor him for the rest of the evening. But he was good! They only use a few ingredients and I can't wait to give my dog his cupcake on his birthday with a nice cold one to enjoy read more
Coming all the way from Burbank to check this place out, the store is smaller comapred on how the photos on their Instagram. Parking is very limited and it is on a very busy street. Contrary to several bad reviews for their customer service, the staff who helped us was very friendly and helpful. We got our dogs couple of treats, the price for a concha is actually above average. Our dogs loved them and had no problems with them. They used coconut flour. read more

Love this spot! Picked up some conchas and mazipawn for my sister's pups because I was going to doggysit for a couple days and you know AuntieTime = TreatTime!!! They loved the treats so much and I had so much fun shopping here! So many fun treats and cute items. Cat lovers do not despair, they have treats for felines too! So much yumminess for fur babies! The baked treats can be refrigerated to last almost two weeks, but your furry friends won't let it last that long if they have their way. Another plus to refrigeration, treats are easy to slice and less likely to crumble if slightly chilled... but crumbs never hurt nobody and they taste just as good so no worries there! I also sent over a Mazapawn to a neighbor and her pup loved it! The verdict is in... La Pawnaderia gets a paws up review!!! read more

Found this adorable pet cafe and shop in Downey and had to get some treats for my pups! Went inside and they had a really cute display with all of their options which were all coconut flour, egg, and peanut butter or peanut based. They also offer cakes you can get for your fur baby's birthday which I thought was super sweet! There is a very tiny parking lot in front but don't let that deter you, service was friendly and fast. read more

100% recommend!! My baby Gus loved his cake and cupcake +pinata that I was planning to get but didn't get around it and it was a huge surprise they had some available for in store purchase! Didn't give any diarrhea or trouble pooping. Staff was kind and fast with service, only wished writing was a bit more centered but over all great. By far the best dog bakery there is! I love the concept, what they stand for and that it is Latino owned! I initially ran across them on instagram about a year ago and I have not left anywhere else since. We drove out there last week for my dogs 5th birthday to get him some doggy birthday treats. I love the variety of options they always have. We got 2 doggy bones "fuck ice" , a Pawcifico (doggy beer), a concha and a birthday cupcake, and a doggy cup noodles. I can safely say by my dogs reaction and excitement he gives it a 100000/10. Def recommend anyone wanting to treat the pups on a special occasion or an anytime treat to try them out. Paw-nadería in Downey is an absolute gem! They have the BEST pet treats fresh, adorable, and made with so much love. I especially love their super cute bread-shaped treats for our fur babies... they look almost too cute to eat! They also offer CBD treats, which have been a wonderful option for calming my pup when needed The shop is warm, welcoming, and full of charm, you can tell they truly care about our pets' happiness and health. Service was awesome, I accidentally ordered my pups Gotcha day cake for the day after, when I showed up they politely showed me the order was placed for the next day. They helped us by kindly offering another cake and decorated it on the spot for us at no extra charge. Super Happy with their business. Our dog loved loved loved the cake. read more
