Rose and mojito!
Fiona L.

Finding this delicious pastry/dessert spot was a draw of luck! My friend and I got lost walking to the la familia church, and we passed by this bakery. The beautiful display on the window caught our eyes, so we walked in and could not walk back out without each having a cake! My friend tried the rose chocolate mousse cake while I had the mojito cake. I wasn't looking for something too sweet, so the mojito was perfect. It looked like a dome. It was a yellow cake covered with a thin layer of lime jello and has a biscuit like layer on the bottom! The cake was very spongey and fine! And the combination of the tart line and sweet cake blended perfectly together. I had a bite of my friend'a chocolate mousse cake and the flavor was rich. The mouse was light, fluffy, and smooth. Btw, if you get the cake to go, it's cheaper.

Beautifully presented pastries. Works of art that you don't want to eat them. Very clean. Good coffee.

Selection of patisserie.

Utterly blown away. Such wonderful fantastic desserts. Beautiful to behold, and a breathtaking flavor experience. Such skill, such technique. Words can't describe how great a dessert place this is.

Great food at reasonable prices. All the food I ate was worth every penny. Highly recommend. Everything was really light and delicious. There are so many options from croissants to cakes! This is a great spot to go and grab a quick snack either in the afternoon or morning. Again, I highly recommend!

This place is amazing, the desserts are delicious, to eat at the spot or to take away. Very nice and neat and the flavors are awesome. Recommended!

Service was fast - order at the middle kiosk and wait for your drink. They have a few iced drinks available, and you can choose which 3-4 beans to make the drink with. We got the iced latte along with the shakerato. The shakerato had no milk, so you can definitely taste the beans/coffee flavor. As for the iced latte, it was definitely less better and slightly more sweet and creamy due to the milk. You still tasted a bit of the flavor of the coffee.

As soon as you walk in the vibes are chill and they greeted me. I asked about the beans and…read moreflavors. Decided to go with a specific bean. After a dozen attempts to dial in the pour the staff was honest and upfront about the selection that it couldn't be made to their standards. Wow, love this! Instead of giving me my drink and rushing me out the door, it was all about the quality. Being new to espresso making at home I fully understand the 1:2 ratio in a specific amount of time for making espresso. I took their advice and went with another bean selection. My iced cafe latte was for take away and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. One thing to note for any Americans that expect sweetener, there is none here. I wasn't bothered by this but I could see many others might be. Looking back I wish I had bought some beans to bring back home to Cali.

Caravelle is quaint and modern, and the service is definitely on the more lax side. Note: smaller parties may be seated at the communal table, and this place stays busy! Be prepared for a bit of a wait. I started with a café con leche, and although I'm not usually a sweets-for-breakfast kinda person, the croffle looked too enticing online to pass up. Being a huge egg aficionado, I also ordered a side of eggs à la carte. My coffee arrived quickly, but after waiting 30 minutes, I noticed that guests who had arrived after me were already enjoying their meals... When I checked in with the waiter, it turned out my order hadn't gone through at all. I had to reorder, and while waiting, I asked for another café con leche since I was long overdue for a refill. Unfortunately, that second coffee never came--but on the bright side, my meal eventually did. The croffle was freaking divine. Crispy/flakey on the outside, and soft inside. The cream was sweet, but not overpowering, and the tart of the berries balanced out the meal. As I was getting ready to check out, the waiter asked if I had ever received my second café con leche. Embarrassed for them, I admitted that I hadn't... Realizing they'd made ANOTHER mistake, he apologized profusely and quickly asked the barista to make me one to go. To compensate for my time and patience, he generously comped my entire meal, leaving me to pay only for the initial coffee (2.50 euros). Despite the service hiccups, the food was incredible--truly one of my favorite breakfasts in Spain.
