Pistachio Hazelnut cookie
Hector S.

Demasié is a great spot to check out for cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries. The city has a lot of pastries and other delicious dessert shops to offer and Demasié does well to stand out against their competition. I enjoyed their pistachio and hazelnut cookie. Although I do enjoy a softer cookie with a little more flavor. The cookie was still good.

Went to the rambla location. Super cute in there !The service was top notch. Everything looked and smelled so amazing, we couldn't pick! Two of the workers told us their favorites and that made our decision. We had the pistachio croissant, brownie, basque cheesecake and pistachio cheesecake slice. UNREAL. Everything was prepared perfectly, we will definitely be back tomorrow.

Lots and lots of sweets. Cookies, cakes, cinnamon buns and breads. If they had a few puppies walking around this may just be what heaven looks like. We ordered 1/2 dozen different cookies. All fresh and tasty.

Everything is as delicious as it looks.... Or even better! Large portions, and friendly staff. Place is small and fills up quick but service is fast. Definitely recommend!!

had the apple cinnamon roll, and it was very good! the cheesecake with raspberry was also delicious. The only thing was the original cinnamon roll was slightly underwhelming. if you go, i would definitely suggest trying a specialty item! the staff here is very lovely. not a lot of inside seating as well, but easy to grab and go.

Blueberry Cinnamon Roll

This is a convenient pastry shop near the corner of the Picasso museum. I came here because I wanted to grab a quick bite to-go before visiting the museum (I didn't want to be late for my time slot). The other places/cafes around here were more sit down. The employee here was kind and helpful. Service was very quick as well. They had a lot of different pastries by the window which all looked so tempting. I decided to get the blueberry cinnamon roll. It tasted fresh since I got there in the morning and snatched the first one. It was delicious and not too dense or overly sweet (which is how I like it). I also got an iced matcha latte with soy milk. The matcha latte was the way I liked as well. The matcha quality was decent and not watered down. I came in the morning close to when they opened. There was no seating but I found a chair outside across the street. The shop was clean and modern.

Down to earth good fresh baked cookies. Nice selection to pick from. Friendly service always.

We stopped here for a sweet treat after a great dinner nearby. The classic cinnamon roll had just the right amount of cinnamon and frosting. It was just the right softness. The focaccia pizza was definitely focaccia not pizza but good nonetheless and lots of options. A great evening treat for the sweet tooth's.

Amazing bakery with so many options! The focaccia-like breads were absolutely amazing. I wish I could try more of the desserts because they all looked amazing! Definitely worth a stop on your way to the park!

The pistachio cinnamon roll was pretty good, the only wish was a little more icing. Otherwise, this was an ok dessert. The banana latte was as delicious.

Mervi T.

Such a cute pastry shop! Popped in after visiting the Picasso museum & was not disappointed. Huge variety of pastries & even had some gluten free options. Pastries were on the sweeter side, but coffee was 10/10! Really enjoyed their banana coffee as the banana flavor was subtle and not too overwhelming.

Great spot to pick up a treat after a meal. The shop is small, so during the day there was a long out the door. But at night it was less crowded. The cookies looked fresh and baked that day. I got the double chocolate cookie and it didn't disappoint!

Focaccia pizza with many different topping options. Tasted great!

Great sweet treats! The focaccia pizza tasted really good, when you follow it up with some cheesecake or delicious cookies you will be so happy!

Cinnamon rolls!

We tried one of their chocolate desserts, a chocolate chip cookie and a matcha drink. All of them were great.. so great that I ended up buying a pistachio brookie to go. To this day we regret not buying more stuff to bring back home. The service was great and quick. The place was clean and cute to dine in with a few tables! Overall I'd definitely stop by if I'm in Barcelona again!

Chok is for chocolate…read morebut they didn't sell any actual chocolates... but there was a rotation of special flavored cinnamon rolls, rookies, brownies, mini cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one

I wish I took a picture before devouring the four pastries I bought. Each item had its own unique and distinctive flavor. No hint or trace of artificial flavors or sugar syrup. I tasted honey and essence of lemon in the almond semolina crescent (fabulous!). The pistachio baklava was generously filled with only fresh ground nuts, tasted of honey and rose water yet still crispy and delish. Much of the floral notes come from the honey they use which must be top shelf. I purchased a small round walnut semolina cake that was all ground nuts and something delightful that I never tried before. The flavor was nutty and not overly sweet. It's a perfect complement for good Arabic coffee. Finally I bought a pistachio baklava semolina twist that delivered great flavor and looked gourmet. All the pastries lasted three days in perfect condition and I nibbled on them daily. The prices were very good too. I wish Bakery Ayub many years of success as I intend to return next time I visit Barcelona. So great!!! Go there if you love fresh innovative sweets.

Though one complaint, one major complaint I have with this place, is how overly sweet it all is. But with a cup of coffee it evens out. Xocolata Taraonja (AKA- Orange chocolate mousse cake) - very flavorful without the chocolate overpowering it all. It's a good balance between the two strong flavors. The mousse layers as well, compliments the (chocolate) sàble base. La Cirera- (AKA- The Apple shaped cherry mousse cake) is incredibly adorable. The outside, though shaped and looks of a red apple, the inside is anything but. Cherry mousse with a thin but incredibly rich Nutella layer all resting atop a sandy shortbread base. It's mostly just beautiful.. the taste, though.. soothing, it's overwhelmingly sweet. Somethings are meant to be photographed and not enjoyed. Cherry flavors seem lost if one didn't know what flavor it was as they bite into it. Tartin - flavorful, sweet with a buttery crumbly base. At first bite everything's wonderful but at second, third chew, it starts to get too sweet. But still good. It's not as pretty as the rest but flavor wise, it works the best. Their pastry sections are more of their strong suit when it comes to taste. Croissants are flaky and buttery, not to mention a great deal for one. €1.10 for a plain croissant. It's also beautifully made. Overall, don't do what I did when I came here and try to eat all three super super sweet mousse tartlets in one sitting, instead maybe take them home or hotel and enjoy with some sugar-free coffee. This patisserie has their presentation down. But it's for the sweet tooth not for the faint-tongued. Service are generally well. All the employees there seem to speak English so if you're not from Spain or can't speak the language, no worries. Last tip: try to come early as it tends to get busy during pastry craving hours. Rumor has it (source: google) this patisserie is owned by an award winning chief.
