This outdoor location boasts it all with a restored and unique 1957 Valentine diner of old Americana, an old 1950s style Airstream for a bar (really cool), Dots and Dashes Bar, pretty comfy picnic style seating, swamp coolers to keep you comfortable, wide-open space, an enormous tent to keep you protected from the Arizona sun and a stage for kids to perform and the occasional locals to serenade from. The diner sits at the heart of a classic American trailer court, with a few classic cars, some retro RVs, and even an historic boat. Dining outdoors beneath umbrellas or under a swamp cooler air-conditioned tent, where the retro music and ambient setting creates a dynamic 1950s mood. Their breakfasts are great - and unique. Especially their Pork Belly Breakfast Sammi is fantastic, consisting of a perfectly prepared pork belly, arugula, a sriracha aioli and egg on a brioche bun, as is their Screwdriver - you can actually taste Vodka! My wife had the fab perfectly smoked brisket tacos prepared with an incredible salsa verde, fried egg, queso fresco and black beans. Oh, btw, their home fries are to die for! Dot's Diner at the Shady Dell is a must visit breakfast/brunch joint when visiting Bisbee! We stopped in the morning we left town and were sorry we hadn't tried them sooner. Bon appétit!

First off, I want to mention the excellent service. From the host at the door to our server -- who…read morewe later discovered will soon be the sous chef -- everyone was fantastic. We arrived just under the wire as the last table seated for the evening and were fully prepared to be turned away, but the hostess kindly welcomed us in. Our server was warm, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and its preparation. As the evening went on, we learned that this is a family-run restaurant, which only added to the charm and warmth of the experience. I ordered the mussels, one of my favorite dishes, while my girlfriend had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and a caramel nut tart with mascarpone. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, the food was exceptional, and the service matched it perfectly. As a business owner myself, and as an artist who deeply appreciates craftsmanship and people doing things well, I can't express enough how much I enjoyed the experience.

It felt so special, like we had our own little corner of Bisbee to enjoy the evening. We started with the appetizer sampler, and every single bite was incredible. Each item was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. It set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. For our entrées, my husband ordered the duck and could not stop raving about it. It was perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. I had the Chilean sea bass, and I'm still thinking about it. It was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, buttery, and it truly melted in my mouth. As if that wasn't enough, it was paired with prawns and lobster ravioli... just beyond delicious. Okay, I also have to mention the salad. The salad was fresh and amazing, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were served a lime palate cleanser before our entrée. Such a thoughtful and elevated touch. We were honestly blown away. Our server was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. It made the entire experience feel warm and personal It's rare to come across service that truly enhances a meal like that. And dessert... the crème brûlée was to die for. We paired it with a 10-year tawny port, and it was the perfect ending. It was smooth, rich, and indulgent in all the best ways. This was more than just dinner; it was an experience. Café Roka delivered excellence from start to finish, and we will absolutely be back. To our wonderful server: May kindness you give return to you tenfold, May your path be light, your days be warm, And may every table you serve be filled with gratitude and joy.

The ribs were very good they smothered with bbq sauce on tops just enough, but if you wanted more bbq sauce you can always ask for extra. It was hard to have a conversation or even hear the server at times because of the live music out in the common area of the space. The music was good, it was just rather loud. Otherwise the vibe of the space if enjoyable with its nostalgia and stuff. In the past I've ranked my experience five stars but I had to bring it down a notch. I had the meatloaf dinner and my husband had Copper(something) pasta dish. Both were lukewarm at best. The flavors were still good but it wasn't a hot dish by any means, and the meatloaf was a bit saltier than I remember. For the pasta dish, the warm bread was hotter than the pasta dish itself. We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty). We really enjoyed the mushroom appetizer and the beer selection is excellent.
