My wife had the fab perfectly smoked brisket tacos prepared with an incredible salsa verde, fried egg, queso fresco and black beans. Oh, btw, their home fries are to die for! We asked if we could sit in the "cave" away from the music and were initially told the "room" is reserved for large groups. However, the hostess graciously made an exception for my party of three. (The owner was probably glad she did because our party of three produced a bill, between food and drinks, that was surely equivalent to a much larger party.) There's a ditch in the back that may not belong to the store, but when I worked fast food, I made it a daily thing to police the trash around the building because it's all about making a good first impression.

We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty).
