Wild dessert honey
Elena L.

I'm a honey lover and I always go searching for new local honey spots to support! This place is just a little hole in the wall, but the honey is quality and the people here really know their stuff! There were many different flavors and blends of local honey. There were also more savory flavors and sauces such as honey mustard or bbqs. They also sell local chunks of honey comb, and bee pollen for allergies. There are many different sizes for your price range and portion, this container in the picture was $12. Take a look if you're a honey fan

Is it local business that makes their own honey different flavors and draws $7 for small big ones or 10 or $15 I believe it is not bad it's better to get a bigger one it's nice to go in there and you could try and sample different ones It's a very nice place in Bixby or something

Luscious Lemon, Blueberry Cream, Radical Raspberry and an aged comb from the abandoned Belleview Hotel in Douglas.

The Killer Bee Guy has a wee shop (I'm not exaggerating...it's super small) in Old Bisbee. Honey, pollen and honey mustards line every wall. Ok, each wall. There are two. And they are very close together. You can touch something on each wall by holding out your arms. The products were so amazing that I couldn't settle on just one. I happen to be a big tea drinker, and love some lemon and honey and my tea. This led me to get the large squeezed container of luscious lemon. I am not a fan of blueberry, but the blueberry and cream was an absolute dream. You can really taste the essence of that blueberry. I got a small radical raspberry, which also has that dreamy essence of the berry that gives it a perfect flavor and creaminess. My eyes happened to fixate upon some freshly packaged honeycombs, both new and aged. I like the richness of the dark aged comb. Then I read the top of the container. These combs were reclaimed from the abandoned Bellevue hotel in Douglas. Mr. P thinks that if I eat it I'm going to inherit all the ghosts from the hotel. Muah ha ha... we'll see! The woman who works at the shop is full of fantastic information not only about the products, but about the history of the business, the bees, and Bisbee. She is funny, dark, and extremely personable. I really love her! I look forward to visiting the shop each time we are in town. And you should definitely give it a go as well, if you like honey.

I you like honey you need to visit this store. Located right on the main street you can not miss it. It is one of the smallest stores I've ever been in to shop. They have a wide variety of honey products and honey butter in so many flavors you will be amazed. They have a jar of each flavor open so you can sample any one you choose. I wanted just plain honey and they have two to choose from. I like light so I chose the Desert Honey. It has an amazing flavor. Most everything is reasonably priced. If you have extra time read the stores that have been published about the owner. Very interesting stuff.

Looking forward to visit this honey and honey mustards shop every time I go to Bisbee, AZ. So many flavors to choose that I can't find anywhere else. My favorite are orange honey butter, pumpkin spice honey butter, the smokey honey mustards with whole grains is the best, with the Chipotle honey mustards coming in second.

It's a fact: killer bees are here to stay. What are killer bees? They are a human-created species of honeybee, the result of a Brazilian experiment from the 1960's to cross-breed European honeybees with larger African bees to create a breed that would yield more honey. The breeding part worked, but the experiment went "Jurassic-Park", the bees escaped, and have now infiltrated most of the Americas. They arrived in the U.S. in the 1990s. I first learned about Reed Booth, the "Killer Bee Guy", on the Discovery Channel show "Risk Takers." Lest you think they're warm and fuzzy, they are wild animals, and will aggressively defend their hives against anything they think threatens them. Thus the need for bee removal services like KBG. The bee removal part of his business is devoted to removing hives the bees set up close enough to humans to threaten them. Whenever he can on a job, he saves the bees (and harvests their honey) by relocating them to the wild, versus killing them. When he has to kill some to remove the hive, he uses soapy water (very effective) instead of toxic pesticides. He also farms killer bees at his home in Bisbee, near the AZ-Mexico border and sells their honey and honey-based products. After watching the show, I ordered some killer bee honey from the website. It's made from mesquite and desert wildflowers and it's DELICIOUS! It's also quite a bargain for such a unique item. Reed is doing as much for killer bees as Jacques Cousteau once did for sharks, reminding us that Nature is not our enemy, that we need to respect all animals, and that we can coexist harmoniously. TIP: If you are attacked by killer bees, cover your head with your shirt (they like to attack the head and neck), and run as fast as you can in a straight line, not in a zigzag as is commonly believed.

I discovered this place while walking through the streets of Bisbee, AZ with my wife on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We tried a sample on the sidewalk and then proceeded to spend the next 45 minutes inside talking with one of the proprietors and stocking up on the variety of their incredible honey creations. We ended up leaving with raspberry and vanilla flavored honeys along with their plain honey and their award winning horseradish honey mustard that packs a hot yet flavorful kick. We also learned a lot about bees, honey, and the Killer Bee Guy! We will make many trips back to stock up on more honey and conversation!

This Honey is infused with real blueberries, and it taste marvelous; this is a Mesquite Honey which is part of why it is a lighter color.

What a super knowledgeable guy! I learned a lot; and now highly respect the people who do the work with Killer Bee's I recommend going and spending some time talking with them ; about the process of about how they get their flavored honey without damaging the product! They have samples of all of the different products that they carry. Go and enjoy

Great Honey. The chipotle and mustard honey flavors were our absolute favorite. Would 10/10 recommend it in the area.

Loved the tiny store. And the samples and information about killer bees. I can't speak for the pest control services.

Had a regular pest guy, came by like clockwork every month. Took care of the outside perimeter, inside the house, including the garage. Kept his eyes out for Sonoran desert weirdness (like termite mud tunnels, arachnid nests, beehives, rodents, etc). I was happy to pay him whatever he needed because he took care of our home the way I'd do. Unfortunately, he lost his mind and moved to Phoenix, so I needed someone new. Premier had good reviews, so I gave a call. First time was complicated; I left a message at the office, and, after a coupla days, I followed up. Talked with a nice guy who gave me the cell phone number of the tech in my area; I needed to call him. Odd, but OK; he came by and told me how Premier works. Thought we'd agreed that he'd come by every six weeks, letting me know in advance before he shows up. Eight weeks later, I'm calling him; no reply. Reach out to the office again, and it's the same thing: Call a different tech's cell phone and schedule directly with him. Once again, he comes out, I think we're agreeing he'll be there every six weeks, he leaves. It's winter; not a lot of bug or critter activity, so I don't notice that it's been nearly four months since I've seen the guy. I log into my account at Premier's website, and see I'm right: He's not been back. On my account dashboard, there's a place for future visits, but there's nothing scheduled, and there's no way for me to add anything. So, I've gotta go back to calling these guys. Why would I do that? I'll pay their (not inexpensive) fee on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, but I need to chase them? At least three times I've told them I'd like to be on a regular schedule, but it's not working. I picked Premier because their reviews were good and they're veteran-owned. Unfortunately, I value reliability and have to find someone else.
