The completely unacceptable and perfectly avoidable atrocity, And I do mean atrocity, is Safeway corporation who does not hire, Nor probably pay well, enough staff. Thousands of people LIVES rely on this one pharmacy and it is the size of a small bedroom. Employees are climbing over each other and doing the best they can so if you have a complaint call corporate Safeway, although frankly they couldn't give a flying F about people In pain and suffering or for their medication's. Safeway is totally irresponsible one of the biggest corporations in the US and too greedy to take care of the people they serve. Customers need to remember that Safeway does not exist without them. Safeway needs to be reminded of this. Word to the wise always double check whatever scripts Safeway fills because people with that kind of responsibility should be paid well and not be under stress. I've caught several medication mistakes over the years and there is absolutely no excuse for that, people can die.

I do like their deli offerings. Best deals for that is late afternoon. I find their meats and chicken cheaper here than Safeway. Always check the ads. They often have unannounced specials. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to move through. It can get crowded in the vegetable aisles, though. I wasn't crazy about the company switching to self-check lanes. I prefer a large load to be checked by an employee, rather than me being watched by a high schooler. There are usually two lanes with employees for that, but they can get long. Parking is plentiful.
