We stopped in here with our kids today and tasted the most DELICIOUS olive oils and balsamic vinegars we've ever had! The owner was very friendly and told us a little bit about the history of Bisbee. The shop is beautiful and boasts old brick walls, tin ceilings, and the owners collection of music and art. My family (kids included) were encouraged to taste all the different products. We purchased the white strawberry peach balsamic vinegar, chocolate raspberry balsamic vinegar, and the sun dried tomato parmesan olive oil. Wow. They are all unique and incredible. Was in Bisbee for the weekend and stopped in at Bisbee Olive Oil, what a cool little find on the street! They have well over 60 different varieties of Oils and Vinegars. After checking them out I went with a Citrus Habanero and Spicy Mango Olive Oil. OMG they are amazing! The Citrus Habanero adds that perfect touch of heat to your dish and the Spicy Mango is great with chicken! Thank gawd you can order online because I will be needed some more! Only shop in Brisbee that was rude to me. The shop had a sign out front offering free olive oil tastings. With anticipation, I popped in and asked for a taste. The proprietor couldn't have been more annoyed that I disturbed his time on his screen. Looking up from his phone, he asked me if I was buying. Taken back, I said I might but I didn't know for sure and just wanted to taste it for now. He said he only gives tastes to people who are buying. I pointed out that is not what the sign said and I walked out. Too bad for him because I had just spent over $350 in Brisbee after being in town for less than an hour. I likely would've bought a bottle had he simply been welcoming and treated us with respect. read more

After having the balsamic reduction on the bruschetta served at Screaming Banshee, I had to check this shop out and I'm glad I did. There are samples of just about everything they sell at Bisbee Olive Oil which is very convenient before you purchase a whole bottle or jar of something. And surprisingly enough, there's much more than olive oil at their shop. You can find anything from balsamic vinegar, flavored olive oils, dip mixes, pickled goods and even unique gifts. My absolute favorite is the balsamic vinegar but I've never purchased anything I didn't enjoy. I only wish I lived closer to this gem. read more

Grab a plate of bread for dipping in the 18 flavored balsamic vinegars plus 18 flavored oils. Caramel, Chocolate Raspberry, Cucumber Melon, Espresso, Pear and White Honey Ginger...just a few amazing balsamics that are perfect for salads, meats and/or drizzling on fruit and ice cream. And the oils? White Truffle, Bacon, Blood Orange, Citrus Habenero ... Not to mention the best-selling Sun-dried Tomato and Parmesan Garlic? Yum! All bottles are $16 and generous discounts reduce that amazing price even more! Any of these products and flavors -- or any combination -- would make perfect gifts. If you enjoy cooking then this is a store you must visit while in Bisbee!! Missy, who was working the afternoon we went into the store to explore was great! She was super helpful and very hospitable!! We walked in about 7 minutes before they were due to close but you would have never known because we were welcomed into the store so graciously. There are little pieces of bread available for you to try the different flavors of olive oil and vinegars. We did not try any of the vinegars since we were in a hurry (at our own choice), but of the olive oils we tried they were delicious!! My favorite one that I tasted was a portobello garlic olive oil - talk about YUM!!! But ultimately, I chose an oil that I felt would be more versatile to use in my cooking at home, Parmesan, garlic sun dried tomato. I've already found about 3 different dishes to use this in when cooking and would use it even more if I didn't want to run out of it so quickly. The owner runs the show from beginning to end and you can feel his passion the minute you walk through the door. There are tons of free samples to chose from so help yourself! I love the creative flavors and variety- it's not just olive oil. On out last trip, I purchased mushroom infused noodles ($9) and they were to die for! I just have to give rave reviews to this place. We went to Bisbee on a cold rainy Sunday morning. Not much was open. We walked around and came upon the Olive Oil shop! I Love olive oils and balsamic vinegars! The lady that was working there that morning was so so so helpful and welcoming to us. She told us a little history of the building (very neat) She helped us sample different flavors and told us some great pairings for them. We winded up spending a good half hour in the store. I left with the Sun-dried Tomato, Parmesan and Garlic Olive oil as well as the Black Walnut Balsamic Vinegar. I also purchased some homemade Basil and Garlic Pasta! This has to be the gretest store ever if you cook, even if you don't some of the balsamic vinegars are drinkable they are so good. Some you could use as ice cream toppings! Absolutely terrible customer service. I was really excited about this shop and sampling the products. Unfortunately, the shopkeeper was more interested in telling a story to a buddy than in selling his products. I waited at the counter, product in hand, politely waiting for him to wrap up his conversation and/or acknowledge me. It never happened. After what felt like a lifetime, I put the product back on its shelf and walked out. I really wanted to spend my money supporting a local business, but not when the shopkeeper can't be bothered to sell his product! So disappointing.
