The completely unacceptable and perfectly avoidable atrocity, And I do mean atrocity, is Safeway corporation who does not hire, Nor probably pay well, enough staff. Safeway is totally irresponsible one of the biggest corporations in the US and too greedy to take care of the people they serve. Customers need to remember that Safeway does not exist without them. Safeway needs to be reminded of this. Word to the wise always double check whatever scripts Safeway fills because people with that kind of responsibility should be paid well and not be under stress. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to move through. It can get crowded in the vegetable aisles, though. I wasn't crazy about the company switching to self-check lanes. I prefer a large load to be checked by an employee, rather than me being watched by a high schooler. There are usually two lanes with employees for that, but they can get long. Parking is plentiful.
