Douglas is tiny so there aren't a whole lot of options for meals. We stopped in at Blueberry for breakfast and lunch. The crepe was tasty but way too thick. Portion size was good and the price was fair. The French toast divided the group. I enjoyed it although it was definitely something I can make at home. My friend didn't like it. She found it too sweet and just boring. We Both had their brewed coffee and there's not much to say about that; it was just your super basic brewed coffee you can get anywhere that is good enough to wake you up but nothing you'd come back for. Lunch was a similar experience. Food was fine (we got sandwiches) so overall it's a decent choice if you're in town. First off: find this place at 600 G Ave......they've moved to a bigger space. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast here! I suggest the Green Juice....a smoothie of some amazing tastes. It's sweet, spicy, tangy......perfect! The cold brew really is cold brew. Not to be confused with iced, leftover coffee. Delicious stuff. I'll be back for the pastries, they look incredible too. Appears only two people were working at the time. When you walk into the front door there is a large menu posted. Decide what you want then take a few steps to the cash register to tell them what you would like. They take your order and you pay at that time. $12 for a regular type breakfast and a cup of coffee. Powdered creamer on the table. But upon request will bring you Half and Half. If you are not in a rush this place is okay. But I probably will not come back to this particular mom & pop restaurant. read more

This place has friendly service, a large selection of healthier food options than all other restaurants in town. Fresh made pastries. Iced Coffee was really good as well as the oatmeal, fresh fruit and sandwiches we ordered. Food is made to order so takes a little longer to get if they are busy. Worth the few extra minutes. The Blueberry Cafe is conveniently located in downtown Douglas, a quaint border city in Southeast Arizona. The cafe is clean, well appointed but very expensive for coffee! My friend and I had two cups of regular coffee (and one refill each cup) and one muffin and the Bill was over $13! Way overpriced! In contrast, go to Cafe 333 one block away in the historic Gadsden Hotel and the exact same fare is $8. Obviously I won't be back to the Blueberry Cafe! read more

Whenever I'm heading to Douglas, I make sure it's on a day that they're open. Blueberry Cafe is a welcome relief in the midst of a town full of Mexican restaurants.
