When I first walked in the guy was a bit rude. He just seemed busy and it was my first time. I didn't know what I wanted.. I had to ask for a menu which is on a tablet. A bit impatient he walked away to finish what he was doing. I was then attended by a young girl. She was very nice and was willing share her thoughts about menu item faves! The burro I got was the 3 item, they have 3 options! 3 item, 5 items and unlimited items for burros! Think that's pretty cool. Mine was yummy. I especially liked that they fry it a bit so it doesn't get soggy! The cochito was delish BUT every single time she was hard. Probably wasn't fresh or it was over cooked. But flavorful. Wow, wow, wow! We had pastries only. I am wishing now that we had ordered a standard breakfast. We tried the hazelnut croissant, the chocolate croissant and a bread roll. The croissants were spectacular! Crispy, flaky outer edges. With that soft feeling inside. The hazelnut was AMAZING ! I truly wish I had bought a dozen to go. I also had a iced latte! Needed breakfast before my meeting as the hotel breakfast was terrible. I found this place a mile from where my meeting was. I looked over the menu and decided on the 5 ingredient breakfast burrito. It had hash browns, ham , sausage , cheese, and bacon. I also ordered a coffee and a birote bread. It all came out to just under $13! What a deal ! The burrito was amazing and their red salsa gives it a little extra kick. If I'm ever in town again , I'm stopping here for breakfast! It's hard to see from the outside that this is a delicious Gem. High end, clean and professional service inside. Update: I wanted to compliment the Mana staff for how they took care of our family last Sunday morning. We had previously made a reservation for a party of 8 since the restaurant gets incredibly busy on Sunday mornings. Upon arrival, we were informed that the table they had planned on giving us was being commandeered by a party that had been there for 2 hours. We were understanding and they managed to accommodate us into 2 seperate tables while the servers apologized profusely and promised to give us the large table as soon as they left. Well 30 min later they did leave and we were promptly moved. We had a great breakfast and coffees. I wanted to mention that many customers were turned away because of those people holding up the large table for 2.5 hours. I also come in the mornings to get my latte to go, much better than Starbucks. read more

Maná is outstanding. The coffee was very good, as were the service and atmosphere - with the Gypsey Kings playing in the background. A selection of large and very good Mexican cookies were handed out to diners complementary. I had the relleno eggs that had a green chile stuffed w cheese at the center of an "omelette" with a side of machaca with veggies and nopals. Awesome. Even the refried beans were really good. We were looking for a place for coffee and breakfast. Wow did we find it. The muffins where fantastic. I enjoyed the way they served the americano and latte with a stick of cinnamon. It was great. Excellent breakfast!! I had the chilaquiles, Chile relleno, and frijoles charros, along with a marvelous red salsa on the side. The salsa had a good flavorful bite to it, the red salsa on the chilaquiles was great. My husband loved the cheese enchiladas, with chorizo and eggs. The service was wonderful! This was our first trip to Douglas, so we depended, as usual, upon Yelp to find a place for lunch. Mama's got our attention and we sure were VERY happy with the result. We both loved our macaroni & vegetable soup: the broth alone would have made a delicious offering. Our hibiscus tea was lovely, served with giant blueberries on the bottom. My wife had asada beef with an enchilada. She said the beans were the best she had ever had. I had a shrimp and chicken fettuccini alfredo. The meats were cooked in something that made them VERY tasty. Portions were very generous, cost was only $9.99, staff was unusually polite, and we even were given free pastries when leaving! We have eaten at Mana' twice so far. A tad spendy at first glance, but when you consider the typical price of $10 for lunch includes soup AND a fresh baked pastry it is not a bad value. The quality of the food is authentic in our opinions (not too many non-Mexican items like flour tortillas, fajitas and chimichangas) so they are not catering to the gringo taste only. The soup, entrees, refrijoles and pastry, all were very tasty. Generous helpings, we were able to split an order and it filled both of us seniors. All the servers we had were efficient, friendly and helpful; seems to be a family operation which is so much more fun to support than a crappy chain with Sysco food. They also provide a cute little chilpitin pepper crusher which also lends to the Sonoran authenticity. A little noisy and busy but full of Mexicans which always is a great sign! We had pozole, adobo, beef soup, gorditas rice and refrijoles. Our friend's huevos rancheros was a little disappointing as it included just two fried tortillas with two fried eggs and topped with salsa. No oaxaca cheese, lettuce, tomatoes or beans included. Be sure to grab a few fresh and delicious pastries on the way out! read more
