No one was upfront attending customers, but we could hear someone in the back. We tried whistling, banging the countertop and shouting out for help. After 5 minutes a young man came out giving us a dirty look, saying that he was back there washing dishes, no cameras and that he could not be in three places at the same time. I asked him, "don't you think that customer service should be your priority?" He shrugged his shoulders and said no. We ordered donuts and tried to get some hot coffee, but he said they did not have any hot coffee. It was 45 minutes before closing and he did not want to make any coffee. The owners are losing business due to the bad customer service.

I've gone to this Dunkin every morning for the past week for the $6 meal deal - a pumpkin iced coffee, an egg and cheese sandwich, and hashbrowns. This morning was the usual. First thing I noticed is that my coffee is half milk - but, whatever. I drive to my office and then I realize my sandwich has bacon on it. Like, a pound of bacon. I did not order bacon, for you see, I have been a VEGETARIAN for ten years. Unfortunately, I'm unable to just pick the bacon off either because the grease seeped into the bagel and was all over the egg. So I make the 10 minute drive back to Dunkin and I'm greeted by a worker who appeared to be in her late 30s, around 5'3", and of Hispanic descent (I only include descriptors because I was never given her name.) I said, very politely and neutral, that I ordered an egg and cheese this morning but the sandwich had bacon on it and I cannot eat bacon so I would like it remade. She looks at me and says, "so you need it remade?" I said, "Yes, there's bacon all over it." She then proceeds to give me the DIRTIEST look up and down my entire body, grabbed the bag out of my hand, and said, "so you need it remade?" At this point, I've already explained myself twice, so I said, "yes, that's what I have said." She then stalks off toward the back and YELLS at me, "no you said you WANT it remade, that's different than you NEED it remade." Are we actually kidding? Sorry I didn't come up to the counter demanding you to remake the sandwich and instead I asked for that like a normal person should do? Why are we yelling at customers for the semantics between wanting a remake and needing a remake? Have we all lost the plot? I can then hear her and the two other employees working between 8:45am and 8:58am on 9/04/2026 talking sh*t about me in the back. I am literally at the counter looking directly at them too and listening to them laugh and talk about me and the situation. So the next time an employee comes out to the front, I ask for a manager. She says that the manager isn't there right now. So I ask for a way to contact her. Suddenly, the manager will be there in a few minutes so I can just wait. I tell the manager, her name I believe is Claudia (I apologize if I'm wrong), what happened and how the worker was incredibly rude to me. My voice is shaking, my body is shaking, and I'm visibly upset. And you know what the first thing she says to me is? "Well, what was your tone like when you asked for the remake?" Yeah, I knew then and there I would be getting NOWHERE. But I continued to try to defend myself and explain I was not rude nor did I raise my voice, and she kept trying to convince me that I just wasn't aware of how I was speaking (she was not there to witness the interaction, mind you). So I tell her it seems like she just doesn't care about what I'm saying. Wrong choice. The manager then starts raising her voice at me, saying I'm trying to tell her how she's feeling and that I'm accusing her of being rude now. I explain to her that I never said she was being rude, I said it seemed like she didn't care because she kept trying to excuse the employees actions. She asks if I had my sandwich remade, I say I did. She then says "ok, then what else do you want from us?" I have full body chills from the audacity at this point. I wasn't looking for anything free, I wasn't looking for a refund even though there's no way I was eating this sandwich made by the employee that was rude to me, I just wanted an explanation for why it was okay for her to speak to me like that when I was nice and maybe be offered an apology. The manager continued to argue back and forth with me. I eventually started crying because I was so upset and explained that I was once a barista too and that is not the way you should ever talk to people - customer service or not. So incredibly disappointing. I go on Google to leave a review and I see tons of other reviews just like my experience about this specific employee and the manager, yet clearly nothing is being done about it.
