Every time I come to Monrovia for my sauna and cryo sessions, I pass by this restaurant, and I finally had the chance to stop in. I'm so glad I did! I had the opportunity to meet the owners, who were incredibly sweet and welcoming. They offer a great selection of food, and I decided to try the chorizo burrito, absolutely delicious. It's definitely big enough to share, but if you're really hungry like I was, you can easily make it your breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one sitting! The Jamaica was refreshing and flavorful, and they also serve complimentary chips and salsa, which was a nice touch. The restaurant has outdoor seating, plenty of parking in a shared business lot, and additional street parking available if needed. The prices are reasonable. Cute outdoor casual patio! the food was just not good. it was lukewarm and the cheese was barely melted. i ordered chips and guac, which is supposed to be like 6 bucks, but they gave me this huge box of chips with guac and cheese on it, which brought the price of our food (enchiladas, potato tacos) up to $33. we didn't realize this till after we got our food, as we weren't given a receipt. there was a kid working (he couldn't have been older than 12). he needs a lot more training before he should be allowed to man the register. we also weren't given the drink that we ordered. they were also out of all desserts. i would not come back here. read more

Great local gem along Historic Route 66!! Came here years ago when it used to be named Los Victors - and along with their new name La Noria, their food and service are much better!! We were very happy with our meals and the staff were so friendly, fast and helpful! They have a large menu, packed full of everyday deals and daily specials! We got the chorizo plate - which came with a large portion of chorizo with eggs and cheese, as well as sides of rice and refried beans with cheese on top. They also include either corn or flour tortillas- we got flour and they were huge! Also seemed homemade. My husband absolutely INHALED all of this - it was so good he gobbled it up before I even got a bite LOL! So I can't speak to it - but he sure loved it lol! I got the beef chimichanga- and it was MASSIVE! I couldn't even eat half lol. It's shredded beef inside (not ground beef) and comes covered in a smoky red sauce. The flavor was great but my only issue was that it was absolutely packed with peppers and onions - very little meat compared to the veggies. But the meat was soft, juicy and flavorful- just needs more. It comes with sour cream and tons of guacamole so that was excellent! They included a small bag of tortilla chips - very crisp and delicious!! They also gave 4 sauces - 2 green and 2 red - those were just ok - more salty than anything so that's the reason for the 4 stars (along with the chimichanga having not enough meat lol). The sauces are a big deal! But not a deal breaker here - still worth it! They're located in a small, easy to access shopping center that also has a laundromat, liquor store and a couple other restaurants - so there's a fair amount of parking. It's a walk up counter and they have lots of outside seating available - very clean too! You can see into their little kitchen from the windows and everything looks very clean and orderly. I came to La Noria Restaurant during my lunch 3/7/25. I must have come on a bad day, because the burrito I ordered was HORRIBLE! I order a chili relleno burrito and it was mostly filled with rice and lettuce, there were chili relleno in the burrito, but they were two small green Ortego chilies from which looked like they came from the can. Worst California burrito on earth. It's suppose to have French fries in it, not golf ball sized chunks of Yukon golds. Add in the steak, sorry, gristle with steak removed, and this was an unmitigated failure. On the corner of May and Foothill is quaint and cute La Noria! Ongoing is my journey to try every single carne asada fries I possibly can and thus it brought me here today. The fries are shoestring fries and we're a little undercooked (part of it could be just the guac and cheese and meat all mushed in, but the fries themselves didn't have much of a crunch for the most part). It also comes with cheese and guac. I'm not sure if there's sour cream included but i saw a lot of their dishes had it so I asked for none. The meat was a little dry and texture was a bit more like ground beef but it was still tasty and with their green sauce, I happily ate it! The portion is also BIG and for the price is nice :) The service was a little hard, but I always like to give some room-- we went for dinner so it's been a long day for them! But we were the only ones there and waited a biiit for our food. I think there was confusion inside, but we saw our food bagged and ready but they seemed to be confused by something and didn't call us for a cool min. All in all, glad I tried! Finally stopped yesterday and ordered the ham and bacon breakfast burrito. The burrito was fantastic. First of all it was huge. I ate one-third of it for breakfast, another third for lunch and the rest of it this morning warmed up for breakfast again. Lots of ham, less bacon. Filled with good potato and egg, but the tortilla was so good. The gentleman doing the cooking was also very friendly. Well they f**king lied! 1st of all, I'll admit I went at 12pm which is peak lunch time, but what I did not expect was for my carne asada burrito to take 30 minutes to make. We were traveling through Monrovia and just happened to drive by this cute taco spot with a sign saying 75 cent tacos. To my surprise they had a wide menu selection with reasonable prices. We ordered 7 full size tacos with a side order of taquitos. We sat under the cute covered patio to enjoy our meal. The food was made with lots of flavor and Mexican authenticity that you don't find anymore, especially in a taco stand. The tortillas tasted homemade, the salsa was spicy and the chips were crispy and crunchy. I want to thank Luis and Hector the two chefs that cooked our food to perfection, they were both very welcoming and even checked to see how we liked the food. For the taco meat we ordered carne asada, cabeza and my personal favorite carnitas. The taquitos were crispy and topped with guacamole and cheese, they were so good! Everything was delicious we even ordered 4 more carnita tacos to go. Hector packed everything nicely and separately in containers, that way it didn't get soggy for our drive home. This taco place definitely gives us a reason to come back to Monrovia. We absolutely recommend coming here! read more

I got the super burrito. Tastes okay but is the size of of 2-3 burritos for about $14. So decent value there. The sauces are pretty bad. No real depth or complexity and the red one was sweet. I think it was made with some sort of sweet juice. I've heard of people using Sunny D but idk. I may go back again to share the novelty of the burrito but there are better places to get Mexican food in the area. read more
