I've been trying to find a salon that does good manicures AND pedicures at a reasonable prices and this seems to be the best in the area. We made an appointment for a double mani/pedi at a friend's suggestion. She said that we needed to make sure we had ample time, as they were a little slow, but it was worth it. My salon partner got taken right away after picking her polish color. Even though our appointments were both for 3pm she was taken five minutes early and I was taken almost 20 minutes after 3. Granted, I had requested a specific nail tech, Jamie, but I was not pleased at the wait, especially because no one apologized or told me mg wait would be over soon. They did the manicures first, which I prefer because then there is time for them to dry during the pedicure. The manicures were quick, but very thorough. Both techs asked what shape we wanted and made sure the shape and color were okay on the first nail before continuing. You also get to pick which lotion scent you would like to use for the massage. I got mango coconut! Then I was moved to the pedicure chairs, which were new and had the back massage feature. They were pretty nice, but they did not have the seat massage option, only the back. We opted for the signature pedi because we needed callous removal, which was SO worth it. They were extremely thorough and my feet felt super smooth afterwards. The sugar scrub was fantastic and the massage lasted for a good long time. My friend was a little careless while her pedicure was happening and ruined a couple of her nails, which the tech completely re-did (not just an ugly touch up) which was very nice. Then while she was waiting for me to be done bumped one of her toes, which they also re-did without complaint. I will say that we were there for 2 hours for mani/pedis but after I got into the chair it did not feel like a long time and it was 100% worth it. Just make sure you're not in a rush Jamie was completely fantastic, I will definitely be going back and booking with her. The other tech who worked on my friend was not as great, she was a little distracted. She had her son in the salon, he was about 7 or so, he was pretty well behaved, but still came up and talked to her and asked for things basically during the entire pedicure. While not detrimental in any way to the pedi, it was not particularly conducive to a relaxing environment. Next time I go, (which I'm very much looking forward to) I'll be trying the Almond Pedi, and a gel-polish mani. read more

I cannot continue to support this business with my patronage. My nails are naturally VERY thin and flexible. Every time I have had a service here, I have always asked for my nails to be hand filed rather than drill filed due to how thin they are. My requests are usually ignored When I need my gel/dip nails removed, rather than a gentle soak off with acetone and polish remover, the tech will JAM ANOTHER NAIL TIP UNDERNEATH my nails to remove them and it is so painful!! When I wince; they always act annoyed or surprised. Like hello? You are tearing up my nails. I thought these behaviors were normal and I lived dreading certain parts of what is supposed to be a relaxing service. Unfortunately I have had this happen at other salons in the area as well. I recently spoke to and received phenomenal service from a professional nail technician who works at a different salon, and she told me that these poor practices are due to laziness and because some salons want to get as many people in and out as they can. Please be aware that this is not ok. Now I know better and will not be back. PS: Once when I asked for the heels of my feet to be scrubbed for callouses, they pulled out A LITERAL LEMON ZESTER TO TAKE THE SKIN OFF MY FEET. I called about 20 minutes before I wanted to get my nails done and they were able to accommodate me without having to wait. I was there to get a dip manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was great, however I should have been soaking my old dip nails off while getting the pedicure. When I got into the manicurist's chair, it took about 45 minutes to soak and dremel my old dip off (which was from a different place that put 3 coats on and left very rounded). My nails looked AMAZING for the first week. Perfect shape, length, flat. After a week, the top coat started peeling off. It peeled completely off of 4 nails. Then the dip began to chip, crack, and lift off of my nails. After a week. I've gotten dip at this place over the last couple of years intermittently and never had any issues, my nails always looked so good! But after this last instance, I will not return. read more

I started going here due to the proximity to my house and the fair prices. At first, my manicure looked nice. But this place does not sanitize equipment and tools, or wipe anything down in between clients. The nail tech actually cut my finger with the buffer and very flippantly apologized. Had a few recent mani/pedi experiences that were not wonderful. Using a kitchen micro plane to remove heel calluses....that can't be right! Also very put off by one of the technicians who repeatedly closely examined and touched my rings and watch and asked if they were real! After several years of touring the nail salons of the Lehigh Valley, I've determined LA Nails is the best. They always do an impeccable job, are super friendly, have good prices, and it's comfortable and clean. I only go every 2-3 weeks, but they know my name and always greet me warmly. My only complaint previously was that they weren't open on Sundays, but now they are which is the icing on the cake. All of the staff are wonderful, but Jamie is my favorite. One thing to note, they just recently stopped accepting tips on credit cards so be sure to bring cash! read more

I went here based on the previous Yelp review, and boy am I glad I did! Linden was a total sweetheart and he made my feet look and feel fantastic. I got the Almond Pedicure which although seems like a lot at $50 is totally worth it. You get an almond scrub, hot stone massage, paraffin dip, plus some other services I may be forgetting. It's a lot : ) One thing I loved is that their spa chairs for pedicures are adjustable forward and backward. I don't know how many times I'd be uncomfortable in the chair at other salons because there was just no moving it. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. For starters I'm a licensed cosmetologist who recently just started college. I am absolutely mortified with this place they price quoted us over the phone 35 for sns dip power with tips and 50 for a removal of tips a full set and a french (that's important). When we sat down to get our nails done we were expecting those prices. The lady who did my nails pulled out acrylic and when I said oh no I get gel she said this is gel. I than repeated what I said and said hard gel like we asked for on the phone . She gave me hard gel and I told her I wasn't very happy with the length, after I told her that she said and I quote " Too late". She said that than proceeded to answer a phone call on her personal phone and do my nails while on the phone.My nails are also see through. After a long and aggravating time at the nail salon I get up to pay and she tells me 60 dollars which is not what we were quoted on the phone at all. She also charged my friend 50 for her nails instead of 35. This was a horrible experience and we will never be returning to this nail salon ever again. read more

Don't waste your time getting dip nails here. While they were an affordable $35, I woke up the next day with two of them chipped already. I went back to the salon to get it fixed, and instead of removing it and starting over, they tried to apply dip just to the parts that chipped, and when that didn't work, they applied gel nail polish over it. My nails are now super thick and not lasting very well. A major reason I wanted to try out dip nails is because you don't need a UV light, yet they asked me to place my hands under it which defeats the purpose of me getting dip. Now another nail has chipped (2 days after I got them done) and I don't want to go back to get it fixed. The nails also have random dark specks on them and the color looks faded along the edges. I am really upset because I was so excited to have nails that last me 2+ weeks, but after 2 days they're already getting messed up without me doing anything but sitting at home and working on my computer. Many of the nails are uneven in both thickness and color. I can't speak to their other services but I can say to avoid dip at all costs! The employees themselves were very nice but it doesn't compensate for the money I essentially wasted on these nails. read more

We have been searching for a nail salon in this area for years, we have been traveling down to Perkasie still to a very loved salon. But I live with MS, so having a great nail salon minutes from home has become more important. Friday my daughter and I decided to try another new salon and between 2, La Nails was much friendlier calling to check on openings. They told us 2 would work, in between busy booked times. We arrived just before 2, picked out polish and were in chairs in minutes. My daughter had Pam from start to finish; my nail techs changed out as an appt for one arrived, no biggie, both did a great job in their part! But have to share that Pam was awesome, my daughter (adult) usually gets nail art, she had picked out a dark blue and Pam said it looked like the blue in red, white and blue! She asked if my daughter wanted to try and we both laughed sure why not! I was amazed to watch Pam do not typical flower but art with stripes that was done freehand! Pam was so sweet, my daughter and I both agreed we found one nail tech we wanted to come back to! And a new salon close. Everything was clean, there was no rushed feeling, both of our pedicures are perfect! Super cute kids chairs andcwec watched the young lady work with the girls, she was so patient and nice with them, definitely want to take my adopted grand girls in for a fun spa day for a birthday surprise in August. So happy the other place blew us off! Don't let the being in a small strip mall fool you, place has many chairs and super clean!! We will be back soon for manicures!! I was scammed into paying the extra fee to join the discount club, when in reality, I paid the price as non-members. I was told if I paid for the discount card then I would pay less for each service. The paint did not last very long and the lady was bothered that I tipped her 7 dollars and the guy another 7 dollars. She attempted to take 10 for herself and 4 for him. I've gone here multiple times because it's the "nicest" nail salon near Lehigh university. But every time I go, I end up waiting 15-30 min before someone does my nails. Nail ladies sometimes ask if I need my eyebrows done (my eyes brows aren't that bad, maybe need a little touc up) which is just rude and likely a tactic to make more money... I find it just offensive. And most importantly, the prices are way too high for the service. I'm originally from NYC and I can get my nails done for the same price at home for much higher quality. My gel nails chip after a week and regular manicures are not spectular. Find another salon to get your nails done. read more

The most attentive, friendly, professional and thorough nail salon I have EVER been to! The attention to detail and excellent end result were so appreciated. I am a licensed cosmo tech and have gone to endless places for my nails in the LV and have never been completely happy. I'm one who ends up going home and touching up here, filing there, picking that, redoing this.... not with LA Nails... I came home and had absolutely NO need to do a thing. Chile was the best nail tech and was so incredible at paying attention to every detail. She made sure every surface that was to be covered WAS and the ones that weren't supposed to be weren't. She took her time, asked questions, pointed out things as she did them and I ended up with a beautiful gel manicure! I paid attention to all of the customers coming and going and everyone was so happy and everyone's nails looked great. Not one person was rushed or left unattended. They truly are a fantastic salon. This is the best nail place I've been to in the Lehigh Valley so far! I'm so glad I decided to give it a try. The staff are very nice and do a great job. My first visit I got a full set and for the first time the lady suggested a gel nail. I never even knew what a gel nail was since I'm somewhat new to getting my nails done. She also immediately knew the shape of nails I wanted, which no one else had that I'd gone to, and even recommended a color that would look best. Needless to say, they turned out exactly how I wanted them. I went on a Saturday so it was a slightly longer wait but was told Tuesday and Wednesday's are the least busy days. I went back for a pedicure and enjoyed that they gave you a choice for lotions. They use new nail files straight out of the bag and the guy even gave me a towel to place over my lap since I was wearing a short(er) skirt. Everyone is so nice, conscientious, down to earth and friendly. The other reviews are spot on! Definitely go here and don't waste your time or money on the other places read more

I went to the LA Nail Spa in Bethlehem, Route 378 and had a pedicure. A male worked on my nails. When he did a foot massage he pressed very hard on three points of my foot. One was near the ankle. It hurt really bad but then he was done, so I didn't complain thinking well, it doesn't hurt now. Later that day the ankle area swelled up and I could barely walk on it. That was two months ago and it still hurts occasionally. Doctor thought that a ligament or tendon was pressed too hard. If you get a male there, be careful and stop him as soon as possible and complain. I will never go back there again. read more

I came here in lieu of my regular salon because it's closer to my house and I had a time constraint. I called ahead and asked if they could have me out by a certain time if I arrived by a certain time. They assured me it would be no problem, which I believed because I've had to get quickies before at my regular salon and never had a problem as long as I communicate it to them ahead of time. I arrived five minutes earlier and quickly grew nervous as my technician was moving very slowly and stopping to chat with her coworkers a lot. Normally this wouldn't bother me at all, but again I was in a hurry which they knew about. I eventually had to leave as they hadn't even started the polish part of the manicure by 5 minutes after the time I was supposed to have left. I paid anyway and left very frustrated by my wasted time and money. It does seem like an otherwise very nice salon and I'm disappointed as I would have loved to make it my regular spot because it's closer to where I live and work. I also really didn't appreciate being put in that position because I also work in a service industry and I don't want to be rude or inconsiderate (which is why I grossly overpaid for the manicure I didn't even get). I actually stopped at cvs on the way home, bought a hefty file and tried fixing them myself because the nail tech just didn't do what I led. Even after she was finished and I told her I didn't like it. Maybe the have some good nail techs but the one I had just didn't do a good job. Not worth paying $65 for a set of nails plus tip to be disappointed. My nails were crooked on the ends. I took my sits with me so she could get a fill for her acrylics and she had the same issue, crooked and poorly done. read more
