I am used to other salons that include hot towel with manicures as well as applying standard hand lotion at least once during the hand manicure. They do not have the nail scrub at sink either to be sure you get all the dirt under nails.. I can't speak for all the technicians but mine missed the finishing detail of painting the edges of my nail tips and the acrylic filler was not tapered to a natural thickness. Oh well. The price was steep for the compromised service but the staff is very friendly and place is clean. read more

I just had a wonderful and relaxing pedicure that turned out beautiful. I am not sure of name of the kind woman that did my pedi, but she was fantastic and very thorough and attentive. This place does a much better job than Lily Nails down the road and the people working there are much nicer as well. Their salon is very clean and updated and a relaxing atmosphere. I have gone to most nail salons in the Lehigh valley and this is my absolute favorite! They are always so friendly and welcoming. My schedule is pretty unpredictable but they always fine a way to work with it and squeeze me in even with short notice. I always get dip nails and they do absolutely gorgeous work. I went there for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for just a pedicure. I am happy with my pedicure and impressed with what they did during my pedicure time. They used a "cheese grader type thing"on my soles, and it felt good. They put something on my heels and covered it with a small plastic sheet to soften my heels. They used massage oil for the massage. The total came to only $30.00! I would go back. Judy did my pedicure. She was pleasant and I would go to her again. Make sure you make an appointment! I walked in at 1:30 without an appt. They said they could get me in at 2pm, so I came back then. However, another person who already had a 2pm appt had to wait for my toes to get done. I felt bad. I think they need at least one more nail technician. read more

This is a brand-new nail salon that just opened up in Macungie. It's located in a strip mall so I decided to check it out by getting a pedicure. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the Japanese waterfall, the water cooler and coffee maker. This already put me in a good mood for a relaxing pedicure. Plus the staff was very courteous. As I was prompted to pick my colors I was very impressed with the fact that there was a wide array of colors and brands (including OPI) plus a wide selection of gel colors. After picking my color I was escorted over to the rather big and comfortable looking massage chair/pedicure chair. I like that the basin was scrubbed before use and that the pedicure instruments were in a sealed sterilized package, thus assuring me that they were clean. As I tucked in for my pedicure and simultaneous back massage, I immediately noticed that there wasn't the regular television or pop music playing in the background. Instead it was very relaxing instrumental music with accompanying sounds of the ocean and birds. Plus there were two big murals- one of the beach and the other of a farm. The sounds alone accompanied with the awesome foot massage that I got along with my pedicure could've very well put me to sleep right then and there. This basic pedicure was by no means basic. It lasted about 45 minutes and included a gel callous removal (often times this is extra) with scrub. This extremely thorough pedicure was only $30 (actually $24 with 20% grand opening discount). After it was done I was ushered into the drying "room" which is definitely a step above your ordinary drying station. All in all this is a great new nail spot which I'm sure is going to do pretty well. I definitely will be coming back. Anna's foot massage alone is worth the trip here. read more

I went to this nail salon after reading the mixed reviews. You can't always go by the reviews! I walked in and it appeared clean. I got a pedicure. They scrubbed, exfoliated, and lotion my legs and feet for 30 seconds each. No massage on my calves, no true exfoliation. They didn't cut my cuticles. Then when I asked for them to do so, they pretended to, I didn't see any skin come off. They rushed painting my nails and got nail polish all in my skin and didn't use nail polish remover to clean them up. I'm not being harsh but this pedicure I got was not worth $30. The woman tried hustling me for more services and saying she would give me discounts. I don't like feeling pressured to buy anything so with that and the pedicure job, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will not be going back. read more

I think their pricing is very good. Design wise, I think they do pretty basic but again - pricing is good. Their biggest issue would be customer service specifically wait times. I've made 3 appointments, each time - it meant nothing. With the first appointment, I waited 30 min. Then the second one, they had even called and asked if I could come later. I was very flexible and changed the time to 530 as they suggested. It was 6:05 before they started. Both times, they were rushed and didn't do my nail design as requested. First time, I wanted glitter at tips and she painted entire nail. As I was already running late, I just keep it. Next appointment, she was preparing my nails for acrylic and I didn't ask for it. So they stopped. This appointment was on time ...sort of. Judy started my nails but was also working with another client. Then this mother and daughter walked in for a pedicure. Judy tells them just a few minutes. There was still me and another pedicure. So after 10-15 minutes, they seat the mother and daughter. They soak their feet for at least 15 minutes. Now most people that come w someone want to get them done at the same time. But this was not how they were doing them. That mother was still In the midst of her pedicure when I was leaving about 90 min later. 90 min for basic manicure! So easily that mother and daughter would be their at least 2.5 hrs. They could easily tell people it's an hour wait, would you like appointment? Then stick to the appointment. If another customer walks in and you're expecting an appointment then reprioritize. Maybe for extensive waits (when people have appointments), offer 10% off or a credit for next visit. If you go w no expectation of time, this place is fine. read more

This business is under new ownership. Lina is excellent. She has a fantastic personality and does beautiful work. She was the most popular technician at her previous salon and I have followed her here even though I live 40 minutes away. I was happy with the service I received. Ample selection of colors to choose from. The facility was certainly clean. To be honest, their prices are a bit higher than I was expecting as other salons local to the area charge a bit less and their service isn't any different. If anything, I wound up being there for about 1 hour and 20 minutes when other salons were much faster and my nails looked nearly the same. Two things I found odd: (1) two of the technicians were in the back sleeping in the wax room.(2) the technician asked me to remove one of my acrylic overlays. I'm not really loyal to any salon since I can't say I get out of the world experiences from any of them. With that said, because this salon is more local to my house I would go again though I know I just have to plan to have more time. read more

I have visited this time many times before it changed owners and was very pleased with my service. However I went back for the first time 2 weeks ago since the new ownership and was not pleased at all. I got a full set of acrylic nails, 3 different people work on my nails, while they were very nice and the price seemed decent in the 2 weeks since I got them done I have had 3 of the nails just pop off. I have never had this happen in the past as a matter of fact I had to go back to get them taken off in past experience. I will not be returning because I am not pleased at all. read more

Great place to go to for your nails, depending on who you get. The inside is small, and the music isn't as relaxing as most spas, considering it's just a chinese parody of american pop songs. The newer lady who works there doesn't put much effort into acrylics and whenever i get her, my nails are layered with acrylic and it looks awful.. otherwise, the other ladies have done an amazing job and i would totally recommend to people who are not hard to please with a quaint appearance to the shop and a very polite staff. If you're not a regular, don't expect to be greeted and it's possible you could wait about an hour and a half before they notice you're there.. and apparently prices change a lot since i was charged $30 for a refill and the next week $40. read more

I visited for the first time at their grand opening. I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the professionalism and the ultra modern equipment. Just the entire way it is set up with the color scheme and design along with the soothing music they play made it a very relaxing and delightful experience. One star. I walked in and wasn't greeted by anyone. No smiles no glances, nothing. I put my name on the list for a pedicure and asked how long the wait was to the room in general and received no response. There were 3 employees each with a customer so I figured I'd wait. So I sat and waited THIRTY minutes before they told me to go take a chair. I sat in the pedicure chair for another 15 minutes before they even talked to me. The pedicure was fine but she cut my skin 3 times and rushed through the whole thing. At the end she simply said "30" - no thank you no nothing. Will not be returning. read more

I went to this salon last summer and they did a good job. I was back in town and needed a mani/pedi so I stopped in. First, I picked out a gel color for my fingers and a regular color polish for my toes. The numbers on the bottle were the same so the younger woman assured me they were the same color. I'll come back to this. The older, maybe mid 50's woman did my mani/pedi. Second, my pedi water was cold. I tried to explain it needed to be warmer but she didn't really understand. Not ideal but not a deal breaker. She did the pedicure without incident. When we sat down to do the manicure though, her technique was sloppy at best. My nails were not filed correctly. I tried to explain the shape (basically same as they are now but shorter) but it didn't help. Then the coats were uneven and she got polish all over my cuticles. My left pinky nail had a big glob like in those challenges where people put 100 coats of polish on their nails. I wasn't happy but I was kind of in a hurry and thought it would have to do. Went outside and could immediately see that my fingers and toes were two different colors. I was annoyed but again I was in a hurry so its going to have to work. Went immediately home, took a shower, and my polish near my cuticles started to peel. This was a gel manicure and it was peeling like 20 minutes later -- not ok. So I drove back and explained that it needed to be redone like right now because I was getting engagement photos done at 1. So the younger girl set me up with a bowl of acetone to get the polish off. Once it was off, the gentleman repainted my fingers. So its still the wrong color but at this point, I just need it to look ok. Unfortunately his polish work was super sloppy, he cut and filed my nails shorter and pointer (wrong and wrong). Then when he was done, it looked like there were big air bubbles in the polish. It was a pink color and it looked the way it does when you've had gel polish on for a few weeks and its about to peel up, you know it sort of looks like a different color in some places. Anyway, after all that, both the gel polish and my regular polish pedi chipped in less than a week. $60 wasted. :/ read more
