Small Coconut ice cream cup

Awesome find! All hand made. Beautiful inside with Tons of flavors and options. Of course, the service was outstanding!

Banana split, Guava popsicle with fresh chocolate dip and coconut topping. You choose your own flavor and toppings!

Well, if you haven't tried it, you should. They have tons of ice cream flavors and homemade popsicles of all flavors. The can even use fresh warm chocolate dip on the popsicle to create a hard chocolate shell. And you can put a topping on the outside that will stick to the chocolate as it freezes. See photo oh a guava popsicle with fresh dipped chocolate and coconut. Maybe not your flavor choice, but the have so many choices there. What I like is two things: first, everything is authentic- like if it's a watermelon popsicle, there will be watermelon in it. If it's pistachio ice cream, there will be tons of pistachios. They are known for this quality. Do try the pistachio! I got a banana split with pineapple cream cheese cake, pistachio, and Gamasita (like a Twinkie of sorts..) The other thing I like there is that they are generous with everything, from free samples of ice cream flavors, to toppings, etc. Try it- you'll like it. Service is friendly and fast.

Aguas Frescas!! If you're looking for some good drinks, this is the place to go!! I've been on the search for great tasting aguas frescas in this part of town, having been to the Jones Rd location, I was so happy to see they opened another off Hwy 6/Copperfield. Bring cash if you want to save some money...though the credit card fee is minimal. Lots of parking in the strip center. Now I've only had the aguas frescas but I think they change out the flavors often. My go to is typically the pina colada, but the strawberry horchata is my new favorite! Watermelon was great too! All of them are great! For the biggest size it's about $5 or so but definitely well worth it in size and taste! Clean tables and place, friendly customer service. Will be back again and again.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally made the trip! It was so worth it! So delicious! The service was amazing they were so kind and helpful letting me try samples, we got the waffle cones with two scoops of different flavors. and also a large cup of the Sandia Agua Fresca, everything tastes so authentic!

Mangonada
Nancy A W.

I love their mangonada! It has been my go to lately. I thought it was so cool to see the mazapan ice cream and other candies you wouldn't expect in ice cream form. The mazapan is delicious and I feel like I'm eating one right there.

The Funnel Bar - Pop up in Pearland 9/11/2026

How many years has TFB been bookmarked?! Tooooo long…read more But good fortune popped up in Pearland as I was returning home from work and I just had to stop by! There was no line too?! I made a bee line to get my funnel cake before the word spread that TFB was in Pearland! I went to my IG just to see what their times would be for the pop up. First post I see is that they have a featured flavor- the cookie butter funnel cake. With Biscoff cookies and pieces of cheesecake interlingled within... Yall, I'm not a big sweets person and I only bought the large to support the biz, but that dang funnel cake is no more! Gone. Disappeared. Now, not all at once. That would be crazy, but a few bites when I first got it...a few more hours later...a few more today and yeah its gone. It tasted just as good the next day too, so well worth the money for not only the portion size but the creativity. I never would have thought to put Biscoffs on a funnel cake....so glad somebody did! The food truck is very efficient as well. You place your order and they give you a buzzer. They were willing to bring the funnel cake to me but I had parked at a distance anticipating that more people would be showing up soon so didn't want to get blocked in. Very courteous people and the funnel cake - the BEST I EVER HAD. Hands dooooown! If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, follow them on IG and enjoy satisfying that sweet tooth!

I walk over post workout and ordered the strawtella funnelcake. Yummy! Very very good and a large portion. I ordered the small but it had weight okay! Staff were friendly and the service was quick! You get a little buzzer that notifies you that your order is ready! They have so many varieties to choose from and shakes! I'm def checking them out again if they are on my side of town

My go-to is their Mango Pomelo Sago, which you can also get the jumbo size. For two people, I'd recommend the standard size - that's usually enough, especially if you've already eaten a meal and this is your dessert. The taste of this alone is worthy of a 5-star review for Hui Lau Shan. I think the combination of pomelo and sago with the mango and ice cream really goes together deliciously well. But hey, there's more! I was introduced to their mango mochi, which comes in easy-to-take-home packaging. So it's quite easy to eat the Mango Pomelo Sago on site while bringing more yummy dessert home for snacking on later. It's utterly delicious. Service is fast. This location is in the poppin' Dun Hwang Plaza of Bellaire Chinatown, so if it's hard to find parking in the lot, use the parking complexes - it so happens that Hui Lau Shan's location is really close to one of the Dun Hwang parking complexes, making things really convenient. Yay! So yes if you like mango, boom, this place is certainly a place well worth going to. Enjoy!

She answered questions and made suggestions. The price was not bad either. I got 4 cookies and 1 cupcake and my total was $31. These aren't little cookies either. They are big and you get them warm! She didn't have to warm them up she just handed them to us warm! They were the perfect amount of crunchy on the edge and gooey on the inside. All of them were amazing! There were lots of options to try from. I went for the s'mores brownie. They warmed it up for me and it was just ok. Then it was time to try the Oreo cheesecake. Also, underwhelming. The cheesecake was bland, no real flavor to it. With so many options in houston, I'd try another place.

She told me to go to the bakers son and make sure I go early because they do sale out and people buy in bulk. I entered with intentions of only getting the ube bread but $40 and 5 items later I went slightly overboard. They have so many items and they all look delicious. The customer service was great and prices were really good. Now to the items, the ube bread is phenomenal, soft, sweet, flavorful 10/10. I also got a biscoff bread sandwich (I'm forget the name) which had the softest and most perfect bread I've ever indulged in. Now to what the employees recommended and the absolute star. The ube Swiss roll. Omg, it was phenomenal. 20 out of 10! It was perfect in every way. I live 30 mins away but will make sure to keep The Bakers Son on a must go place weekly!

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
