    Vibes n thangs

A hidden gem. We came here specifically for drinks after a friend told us about it. Immediately, you can feel the vibe. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday and stayed until 11:30pm. We asked for a table along the outter edge of the restaurant/bar so we could have the view of the vineyard. It was gorgeous, even at night. It's winter and fortunately they have heat lamps to keep us warm, because it got cold! (Bring a sweater). We had a party of 8 and were assigned a great server who took great care of us all night. Bottle service was so reasonable and our server made all of our drinks for us at the table. Every table ends up turning into a tiny party as almost everyone in the entire place gets up to dance (at their own table). It was fun to say the least. We'll be back!

I come to Valle de Guadalupe at least once a month. I was recommended this place by my girlfriend and I was really excited to eat here. We made reservations 3 weeks prior. When we first arrived everything was excelente, we were seated inside by the host. I requested to be seated outside but she recommend the inside area since the sun was beaming. We agreed and sat down. I preferred a drink and requested the bartenders favorite, the drink was amazing! Everything was fine until then. We ordered our food, I order an octopus ceviche, which was delicious! However I ran out of chips, so I requested my waiter for chips. 6 minutes pass by and I call another server and request chips once again. 14 minutes pass by and requested chips for a third time. 17 minutes passed by, and no chips. I called for the manager and told him that I never received my chips. By this time My ceviche was hot and flies had flown all over it. Manager then brings chips. 17 mins passed by before I received my chips. I did not received an apology from the manager or maybe an intent or serving me another plate. He just pretty much looked and me and took my plate! Then proceed to charge for everything full price. Worst experience I've had in El valle de Guadalupe. I wish they change management or maybe be more attentive to customers.

You need to love this place because it's located in the middle of the valley and it is so cool. The staff is excellent. Very attentive and sincere. Cool music playing and you can dance. The menu is excellent. I ordered the octopus carpaccio. It was clean and fresh and very tasty. Its served with an avocado puree which is excellent. I also ordered the quail which came perfectly cooked and so delicious. This is a really cool hang out and I highly recommend it. Q

The setting alone is worth the visit wide open views, rustic-modern design, and so many photo worthy spots you'll find yourself snapping pictures all throughout your visit. Whether it's the hillside views, the outdoor seating, or the golden hour lighting, this place is made for unforgettable moments. Now the food... incredible. Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

It's mostly outdoors but fully covered, with heaters to keep you warm, which made it very comfortable.. We arrived around sunset, and the timing was perfect: it was still light when we got there and turned into nighttime by the time we left, making the views and ambiance even more magical... Our server was very helpful and attentive.. He walked us through the menu, explained how different dishes were prepared, pointed out popular items, and also gave us great drink recommendations. Everything we ordered was very tasty and definitely lived up to the hype. We came on a Sunday night, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly, and the food came out fast, which was a nice bonus. Overall, the food was good, the ambiance was beautiful, and the vibe was very romantic, perfect for a date night. There's also space to walk around the property, although by the time we finished eating it was already dark and we were ready to head home... If you're visiting Valle de Guadalupe, this spot is definitely worth checking out for the views, the atmosphere, and a solid meal...

We were greeted immediately and offered indoor or outdoor seating. We opted to eat outdoors. A tiny regret as smoking is allowed and people were smoking. But they soon left so not too much of a bother. We started by ordering drinks - they have a full bar. My husband ordered a double tequila & I ordered a Paloma. Not too strong or too weak, just perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the Chamuyo Shrimp U10, and I ordered the Rib Eye Center Cut Steak- medium well. Both came with a side of the criolla salad. The food, ambiance, and service was great. There was also about 30 minutes of live music by a duo performing son jarocho. Not sure if that's the proper phrasing but it was a nice treat. I'm not sure if they are regular performers or they just happened to be there that day. Overall a great dining experience to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

Just a heads up: the seating is one long communal table. If you're picturing a quiet little two top date night, this isn't that. It's more of a "we're all in this together" setup, which actually ended up being pretty fun. We went for the full tasting menu with the beverage pairing, and it was absolutely worth it. The tasting menu consisted of 14 courses. They served things I never would've ordered on my own, and that ended up being the best part. The oyster and clam dishes were incredible, and the scallops were another standout. The drink pairing was surprisingly great too, way more adventurous than what I would've picked off a menu, and I ended up loving a couple of the wines I'd skipped during our earlier tasting at Bruma. Service was on point from start to finish, and the whole experience just felt special. If you're in Valle de Guadalupe, make time for Fauna. It's absolutely a must visit.

The charcuterie board stood out with its excellent variety of artisanal cheeses and meats, all beautifully presented. Some of the cheeses were from the goats on the property, pretty cool--and other fresh ingredients came from the region. The "Torre de Uchepo" (Uchepo Tower) was the best. Uchepo is a soft tamale made from white corn, traditional to Michoacán, and here it is taken to another level. It's served with pork rib and a green tomato and puya pepper sauce, topped with fresh farm cream and Cotija cheese. An absolute must! The wines, all produced from the on-site winery, paired perfectly with both the charcuterie board and the tamale dish. The peaceful views of ducks in a small pond and a nearby pasture with sheep and horses. They have dogs too, which are all so friendly and, in my opinion, added to the experience as a dog lover. It's a serene experience that perfectly complements the quality of the food and wine. And the service, the service is like no other. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Valle de Guadalupe's culinary and wine scene. I look forward to returning for an actual meal, we had dinner reservations, but wanted to stop by. The restaurant is off the beaten path. The bites are pretty small, so we ended up getting some tacos afterward LOL. I recommend coming here in an SUV because the road to this area is VERY bumpy.
