One of the best restaurants to visit in grand fiesta Coral Beach Cancun Mexico. Imagine going to an upscale Mexican restaurant with a live mariachi band who has great skill of playing, traditional and fun Mexican cultural songs. This place has great selection of wine. Only thing that we felt was the cocktails were very sweet, but the food was amazing. It lacked some options Seafood, but other than that, we this place was worth the wait. Make sure you do reservations on the day one of going to the hotel to ensure you have a spot in this place if you're celebrating something, the staff will take care of with some special request as well, but this place is filled with genuinely nice people and a great staff.

The screens were nice to keep kids occupied.

We really enjoyed our dinner here as part of the all inclusive resort Americana Coral Beach. The inside is beautiful and the projectors are a nice touch. The service was great with an extra of an anniversary treat. We actually enjoyed the sushi and steakhouse food best and felt like some of the food here lacked flavor but overall a great restaurant.

La Joya is a fine dining Mexican restaurant located at the lobby of the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach resort. We came here once for dinner during our stay at the hotel and this is one of favourite restaurants. The decoration was very artistic inside and they offered wonderful live music performance at dinner time. The service was okay and food quality was decent. We tried their veggie tostadas with grasshopper, beef tacos, salmon, zucchini and mushroom as well as some house special desserts. Among all the dishes, my favorites in include the tostadas (sweet flavour hibiscus), the beef tacos (the meat is super tender) and the salmon (cooked and flavoured just perfect). All the desserts were mediocre though. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my dinner at this fine Mexican restaurant especially it was a memorable experience first time eating an insect. The grasshopper had a sour flavour and I had to close my eyes and not thinking about what I was eating!

This is a more "upscale" Mexican restaurant with a fairly extensive menu. There are hot and cold appetizers, soups, salads, as well as main dishes here. I ordered the fish aguachiles, tacos al pastor, and the pork rib in mole sauce. The aguachiles were refreshing and tasty, although I personally could have had a little more heat. The tacos al pastor were ok, but I think the meat could have been seasoned a little bit more. The pork rib was tender and as someone who isn't a fan of mole, I thought it was really flavorful and cooked well and the mole wasn't overpowering. There is a mariachi band that goes around and plays throughout the evening at each table, so be prepared if you don't like mariachi, but this is still a lovely restaurant. Service was a little slow, but they were attentive when there and super nice. Would definitely recommend!

Five star food and service. The goat cheese salad with roasted figs and mango sorbet was awesome. So refreshing and tasty. Nice size portion with a nice mix of ingredients. The cheese quesadillas with smoked chilli Guacomoli was delicious. A great combination of flavor. The Sea Bass with spicy mayo and creamy cilantro rice was tasty and full of flavor. The fish was extremely tender. For dessert the Chocolate Fondant filled with Tequila cream and vanilla ice cream was mouthwatering. Perfect sized portions. The well prepared Mexican margarita was a perfect addition to this outstanding and very well prepared meal. The food, atmosphere and service was impeccable. A great experience.

Located inside the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach resort this is their Mexican theme restaurant. The decor reminds me of being outdoors with cherry blossoms and it's a very intimate atmosphere. You have to have a reservation (it's the same For every other restaurant on the property) . They do have mariachi playing however during our visit the mariachis came around the time we finished out dinner. We were presented with a few other options that were not on the menu one of them was the Chile En Nogada- a traditional dish that resembles the Mexican flag . The best part was the muscle hot appetizer which had great flavor and the little broth/sauce was a treat in its own. For desert we were presented with flambé churros accompanied by chocolate or caramel.

Located inside Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, while it is included as part of the all inclusive you still need to make a reservation beforehand. This restaurant is pretty! The trees with pink flowers and lights are scattered across the place and feels good to sit right under them. They have a couple of options for vegetarian food. I don't recall the exact names of what we ordered but it was all flavorful and we enjoyed the food. Our server was very friendly and gave us some nice suggestions including this drink with a twist as it had tamarind in it, unique and surprisingly good tasting.

Location - Located inside the Grand Fiesta Americana. Venue - Great looking place as you walk in you have temperature check and hand sanitizer provided, large bar area to the left and then the restaurant is beautiful with high ceilings , projectors displaying images on the walls, decor is nice, and the ambience is very chill. Service - Everyone here is very cheerful, willing to help with any questions or anything needed. Always ready to assist with anything. Food - We had a few people in our group and ordered a few entrees, appetizers, and desert and everything was great. Everything tasted fresh, good taste, and portions are good. Presentation was nice for the deserts, making everyone pull out the cameras to capture it. Overall great restaurant would come back and highly recommend checking it out.

This is a very fine Mexican restaurant located at our hotel. The space is absolutely beautiful. We had a large party with us and they treated us very well. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu and the specials of the day. The drinks were very tasty, the food delicious, and the desserts devine. This is a must try spot when looking for a higher end mexican restaurant in the hotel zone.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. It is a posh restaurant with an excellent ambience as you enter your senses are treated to music projections on the walls. We came looking for vegetarian options and guess what they handed over an exclusive vegetarian menu The food was beyond exceptional starting with the chips and salsa, shaved vegetables salad, prune and corns stuffed in Chile and the dessert Dulche ice cream with Mexican fritters. On top of these we were treated to various items like jalapeño, mushroom and chipotle buns, a corn salad, churros which we didn't even order. Finally per table we had a mariachi band delight us

Located on the first floor of the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, La Joya is a Mexican restaurant with great atmosphere, delicious food, and awesome service. Their drinks are not as strong as I'd like but everything else was perfect. My party and I had a great night.

Beautiful setting for our cabana dinner held at La Joya since it was raining outside.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the food is all 5 stars. This is a must go. The waiter recommended some appetizers that were amazing, followed by authentic Mexican cuisine.

The service and food is very good, at first I didn't think it will be good I mean I thought it is going to be regular Mexican restaurant, butte food was very good the appetizers, the main course beef was melted the salmon was unbelievable I don't remember last time I was eating like this I definitely give it 5 STAR

We had been walking in the area earlier that day and made a plan to come back for dinner. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated immediately. Martin was our waiter and he was great. There were a few large screen TVs playing sports. There was live music. A lot was going on but it really worked. People were enjoying themselves and the wait staff was friendly and talkative. I ordered shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the mole. He always orders mole. The meals were very good. We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families. I'm sure the place gets a little more livelier as the night goes on. If you are in the area, this is a good place to eat and enjoy your time in Cancun.

The wait staff forms a conga line to deliver a margarita, carried atop a sombrero! The play tunes and dance around inviting diners to join them. Service is attentive & excellent! The menu has 90% Mexican specialities, but also has pasta, burgers and vegetarian. I was there with friends who had quesadillas & I had chicken enchiladas. Everything was good & portions were big. I just drank water, so cannot comment on the drinks. I had the flan for dessert, which was generous in size & ok. One of my friends had the flaming bananas & said it was so yummy! Everything is surprisingly (for Cancun) priced affordable. My enchiladas were about $12. I would happily return here! So much fun!

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.
