The food was very good. We got a various platter of meats including lobster. The waiter was professional and nice. They sang songs at your table. It is a romantic place and I would say it's $$ for price. Some of the drinks were huge but good. There is a dress code so I would call before you go and make a reservation.

This is a very nice restaurant we discovered very close to our hotel. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful with our large group. The drinks here are very tasty and just what the doctor ordered. The food here too is absolutely delicious and presentation was superb. We will definately be back on our next visit.

Phenomenal restaurant with amazing service. We stayed at Krystal and ended up coming here almost every night for dinner during our stay. They have wonderful seafood and grill options, and the mariachi band is lovely! Favorite dinner spot!

We came here through our all-inclusive package at Krystal resort. The food: this was the best dinner on the resort! We loved the enchiladas, fajitas, and rib eye. The best appetizer is definitely the cracking rib-eye- it was so tender and flavorful!! Also a big fan of the melted cheese with sausage, another appetizer. For desserts the churros and passion fruit ice cream took the gold. The tres leches wasn't as moist as I like it. The drinks: The margaritas glasses are insanely large- as big as my head! Loved the coconut and tamarind margaritas. But could barely finish one :) The ambience: Beautiful space with great decor and character! Big space with tons of seating. The service: the servers are sweet and funny, kept saying they only have tequila- no water ;) (of course they brought us water!)

I had dinner at this restaurant several nights during my stay at the Krystal Cancun hotel. This restaurant is included in the all-inclusive option offered at the hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food was great as well. I had seafood each time and the food was always fresh. The drinks served were also much better then the drinks served inside the hotel. During dinner they also have a mariachi band that plays which was also great. They will play requested songs for your table as well if you request it. This restaurant was always understandably busy and required reservations each time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those looking for authentic Mexican food while stay nearby because there aren't many others in the area.

Decided to go here before heading out to drink tonight , and the restaurant was better than I expected ! I got the fish of the day, which came wit shrimp and was bustling with flavor while my partner got the steak. However, when he received the steak it was very rare, but it was happily replaced after he told one of the waiters. The mariachi band the played was amazing , their voices harmonized well with each other, but they did not look that happy ,( which I don't mind to much since it probably sucks to be constantly singing ) We sat next to the fountain which had a slight unbothersome water smell. The margaritas that we got were HUGE and in my opinion worth it.

We had read good reviews from yelp before coming to Cancun, we also stayed at Krystal Cancun where the restaurant was located. On our 1st night, we already wanted to have dinner there, the hotel housekeeper told me it was impossible to get a seat w/o a reservation, we went anyway and got a table after 10 min wait. The decor was amazing, in the middle of the room was a beautiful fountain and on the side were huge barrels of tequilas!! We ordered carne asada and seafood stew. The salsa was very hot as expected in Mexico, the free tortilla chips came immediately as we sat down. The carne asada was really juicy and delicious but the meat was very tough as is the case all over the world, unfortunately I was not able to chew it. The seafood was out of this world good. The margarita was not as good as I would expect in Mexico, on our 2nd night, I complained and they took it back and gave me a pica colada. I was very happy w the superb service. on 2nd night we ordered fresh fish, it was marinated and grilled to perfection. !!!Yummy! The roaming mariachis came to every table, they were muy simpaticos! I wish i could go to cancun again, this was my 2nd time and sadly it would be my last. I narrowly missed getting killed by the Sinaloa cartel, they threw a grenade in the most popular mall. But if you are brave and don't mind the danger, this restaurant is a solid 4 stars.

If you are looking to get the full on Mexican restaurant cuisine.. this is the definitely the spot! Staff was very attentive and friendly! Such a fun atmosphere with mariachi bands who will sing you despacito! Delicious food. Handmade tortilla, and Mexican desserts!!

    Churro dessert was amazing!!

Rumaldo, Juan, Josefina were amazing waiters. They helped me out with everything I needed and were very hospitable.

We had been walking in the area earlier that day and made a plan to come back for dinner. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated immediately. Martin was our waiter and he was great. There were a few large screen TVs playing sports. There was live music. A lot was going on but it really worked. People were enjoying themselves and the wait staff was friendly and talkative. I ordered shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the mole. He always orders mole. The meals were very good. We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families. I'm sure the place gets a little more livelier as the night goes on. If you are in the area, this is a good place to eat and enjoy your time in Cancun.

I just drank water, so cannot comment on the drinks. I had the flan for dessert, which was generous in size & ok. One of my friends had the flaming bananas & said it was so yummy! Everything is surprisingly (for Cancun) priced affordable. My enchiladas were about $12. I would happily return here! So much fun!

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.
