The pepperoni tasty, slightly "spicy" and the sausage was good noticed fennel seeds in it. I would have liked it better with red pepper flakes like a spicy sausage. . The mozzarella and parmigiano reggiano pair was excellent. The red sauce was excellent. Not tangy or sweet. Neutral tomato red sauce taste. The dough was cooked to my liking crispy from end to end. I also really liked the toppings all the way the the edge. The roasted gralic was not over powering infact it was subtle. Excellent with the rest of the toppings. Although not as tasty when hot and fresh. Eating cold the next day was great. the crispy texture stayed true. It passed the cold test.lol. tasty nonetheless. I have to slices left those will be reheated. Im sure they will taste fantastic. What a unique place to the 209. This NY style pizza isn't available in Stockton CA or most surrounding area. They have live music sometimes with a clever indoor/outdoor stage, which is also a perk. The staff were very friendly despite the crowd and long line, happy to explain their "on tap" selections with only one offering being unavailable that evening. I had a Nitro Stout and then later a Cherry Cheesecake Pie Hard Seltzer, both brewed by them, and both were delicious. The hard seltzer did have all those flavor notes and it wasn't overly chemical sweetened, which I greatly appreciated. And I was so happy to see a darker beer option on their menu as the current trends tend to heavily favor the IPA's. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. Last Saturday night my wife and I went…read moreto dinner because she's been craving pizza. We live in Riverbank and always want to support small businesses. On this visit, it was very loud and somewhat busy with the annex room full with a birthday party and then an additional party in the main room. All that was fine except for the volume. It was incredibly loud. But what I noticed most was that this place was very dirty. Tables hadn't been attended to of people that had already eaten and left. The salad bar had food thrown all over. But still, we decided to stay and eat. We ordered food and drinks. I ordered a calzone and my wife ordered a small pizza. I had to wipe down my table and clean it because it was dirty and not attended to. When we went up to get drinks. They were all out of ice. So we let them know in about 10 minutes later a young man put ice in the top. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food and still not getting it. I went up to the counter and asked if our food was getting close. Meanwhile, the place was still dirty tables unattended to and the salad bar looked exactly the same. All this why I saw two workers sitting at the bar, maybe on a break? But the timing of this seemed off to be honest the young man said that our food had just came out and they were cutting it up. About five minutes later, our food was delivered to the table. However, my wife's pizza was wrong. We checked the ticket and the ticket didn't match what she ordered. She told the guy to not remake it that she was hungry cause we've been sitting there for so long, so she just ate what was presented to us. It was at that time that I Voice, my displeasure for seeing workers sitting at a bar and the place in shambles and then our food comes and it's wrong. He just listened to my complaint and had nothing to say. He then asked for my wife's name and said that the next time we came back, she would get a free pizza. And I thought to myself, next time? Why not go ahead and take the pizza that you got wrong off of the bill? Next time, doesn't mean lost profits. If we don't return, then there's nothing lost. At this point we just really wanted out of here. I don't trust the fact that her name is on some sort of a list that's ongoing for screwed up orders. When you look at the reviews online about this business, really focus on the last 12 months. So many reviews are about customer service, rudeness, and overall performance. From now on, as much as I don't want to, we will go to Mountain Mikes.

To start with the food here is incredibly overpriced. When we got there the girl acted like she had better things to do and didn't want to help us. Then she told us that a dish of pasta was $10 we said that was really expensive and she said we could get two sides for a dollar more. We decided to get one meal and share so we got the pasta potatoes and vegetables. When we got to the cashier she charged us for both sides and the pasta. When we told her our server told us it was a dollar more she said that wasn't right. She tried to get the servers attention and was completely ignored and I actually told to leave her alone. Neither one of them knew who was right. When we sat down to eat our food the vegetables were inedible they had so much salt on them, the potatoes were incredibly greasy and the pasta was mediocre. I would never go back here because the stuff is so rude and the food was horrible and overpriced read more

When I asked simple questions, she reacted as though I was inconveniencing her, responding with visible irritation and a dismissive tone. It became clear she was upset that we chose to sit outdoors. When she returned with our water, she was visibly sweating, flustered and frustrated, and probably worried about her heavily applied makeup running in the heat... so the entire interaction felt strained.
